항공교통수요의 증가와 그에 따른 항공분야 발전에 따라 현재 사용하고 있는 항행안전시설들에 대하여 기술적 보완 및 업그레이드의 필요성이 대두되었다. 국제민간항공기구(ICAO)에서는 항공교통량의 증가를 수용하고, 항공 운항의 안정성과 효율성을 높이기 위해서 차세대 항행시스템(CNS/ATM)으로의 전환을 권고하였고, 각 국은 기존 항행시설의 성능과 한계를 극복하고 증가하는 항공교통량을 원활히 수용하기 위하여 차세대 항공교통관리 전략을 추진해 오고 있다. 이러한 차세대 항행시스템(CNS/ATM)의 효과적인 활용을 위해 자동화 시스템이 도입되었고 관련된 인적요소가 위성항행시스템 발전의 핵심 열쇠라고 ICAO에서 언급하였다. 본 논문에서는 차세대 CNS/ATM의 자동화에 따른 인적요소에 대하여 연구해 보았다.

Korea's air transport industry has a 70-year history since Korea National Airline was establishment in October 1948. Korea has 9 airlines which have international air transport business licenses, and as of 2017, air transport performance(Domestic & International) is ranked 8th in the world. Through analysis of Korea's air transport industry, this paper examines the essential problems of the domestic air transport industry and what policies and laws should be supplemented, and presents an "Policy Directions for the Air Transport Industry" that can continue to grow into a global aviation leading country in the future. Analysis of aviation statistics shows that the nation's air transport industry has a very high growth rate, and national airlines continue to invest in sustainable growth. Furthermore, new companies are also trying to enter the market. As of November 2018, four companies applied for licenses for international air transport business, one for international air transport business (cargo) license, and the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport is expected to decide whether to issue the license by first quarter of 2019. While some expect price reductions and consumer benefits through competition promotion, others worry about worsening airline financial structures and reducing safety investment due to competition. To sum up the problems of the nation's air transport industry, first, low-cost airlines focus only on attracting domestic demand, and thus have a weak foundation for continued growth. Second, the rapid growth in recent years has led to the lack of aviation professionals such as pilots and technicians and the saturation of slots at major airports. Third, since the financial soundness of airlines is not systematically managed, the financial situation of airlines can quickly deteriorate and the damage can be attributed to consumers. In order for the national airlines to continue to develop, the first is to focus on the endless demand of the global aviation market and to secure international competitiveness. Second, the government should support the airline infrastructure according to the size of the air transport industry, third, we will systematically nurture aviation experts who will lead the future of the nation's air transport industry, and finally, the government will have to continuously manage the financial status of airlines to prevent consumer damage in advance. Nowadays the air transport industry has become very competitive. Not only do airlines have to work hard for the sustainable development of national airlines, but all government agencies must support our airline companies in policy to win international competition.

Small and medium-sized local airports have suffered from chronic operating deficits due to many factors except for large airports in Incheon, Gimpo, Jeju and Gimhae. These small and medium-sized local airports have currently been degraded to inefficient airports handling the significantly lower airline demand than their carrying capacities. In this context, this study conducted a survey on the actual conditions of the airline demand in small and medium-sized local airports for the last 10 years after the opening of the Korea Train eXpress and investigated the causes and actual conditions of an increase and a decrease in the airline demand. In addition, it analyzed the functionality, convenience and economic feasibility, competition elements in comparison with other means of transportation, and the actual competitive conditions of local airports. It investigated facility improvements through a field visit for local airports and analyzed the performance rate of passenger demands and the use rate of terminal facilities according to a change in the airline demand. This study aimed to provide basic data in the architectural planning field, needed to establish a plan for the airport revitalization of local airports with the results of an analysis on the actual conditions of small and medium-sized local airports.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the impact of macroeconomic variables on air passenger demand and provide useful information to airport managers and policymakers. Therefore, using the quarterly macroeconomic indicators from 2002 to 2017, the relationship with air passenger demand was demonstrated by multiple regression analysis. In the previous studies, they used GDP, Korea Treasury Bond, KOSPI index, USD/KRW Exchange Rate, and WTI Crude Oil Price variables. In this study, we used the Coincident Composite Index, Employment Rate, Consumer Sentiment Index, and Private Consumption Rate used as additional variables. It has confirmed that if the consumption of research results expands or the economic environment is right, it will affect the increase in international passengers. In other words, it confirmed that the overall economic situation acts as the main factor determining air passenger demand. It confirmed that the economic environment at the past has a significant impact on air passenger demand.

The purpose of air traffic flow management is to balance demand and capacity in the national airspace, and its performance relies on an accurate capacity prediction of the airport or airspace. This paper developed a regression model that predicts the number of aircraft actually departing and arriving in a terminal maneuvering area. The regression model is based on a boosting ensemble learning algorithm that learns past aircraft operational data such as time, weather, scheduled demand, and unfulfilled demand at a specific airport in the terminal maneuvering area. The developed model was tested using historical departure and arrival flight data at Incheon International Airport, and the coefficient of determination is greater than 0.95. Also, the capacity of the terminal maneuvering area of interest is implicitly predicted by using the model.

한국항공우주기술연구조합은 지식경제부 항공우주부품기술개발사업의 일환으로 '07년 12월부터 2개월간 수요조사를 실시하여 총 31건에 대한 사업 제안을 받았으며, 기술전문위원회의 평가결과 우선지원 대상사업으로 10건, 예비지원 대상사업으로 3건을 선정하여 지식경제부 공고 제2008-21호로 3월 24일에 공고하였다. 공고된 지원 대상사업에 대해서는 4월 15일까지 사업계획서를 접수하여 각 사업별로 주관기관을 선정할 예정이다. 선정된 주관기관과 5월 말까지 협약을 체결하고 1차년도 정부출연금(약 43억원)을 지원할 계획이다. 이에 항공우주부품기술개발사업의 신청방법과 2008년도 우선지원 대상사업인 10개 과제에 대해 소개 하고자한다.

정부에서 제시하고 있는 항공레저산업의 활성화를 위해서는 전국에 경비행장을 많이 건설하여 운영할 수 있는 인프라를 제공해야 하지만, 현실적으로 개발이 된 곳은 많지 않다. 그래서 경항공기, 경량항공기 및 초경량비행장치 관련 지속적인 수요 증가에 대비하고, 경항공기, 경량항공기 및 초경량비행장치 산업 활성화를 위한 "경(소형)비행장 개발의 표준화"를 통한 개발 방안에 대하여 생각해보고, 그 사례로 경남 사천 지역의 사천 송포 미래창조 첨단산업단지 조성 사업을 하면서 경비행장을 건설을 계획하고 있어 "경비행장 개발의 표준화"에 객관적인 연구에 의거 그 입지선정 타당성을 검토해보고자 한다.

고도화ㆍ정보화가 요구되어지는 현대 산업사회는 교통에 있어서도 많은 변화를 가져왔다. 특히, 항공교통 수요의 급속한 증가와 함께 현재 신 공항건설 및 공항확장 둥이 이루어져야 하는 실정이다(건설교통부 항공국, 2001). 이로 인해 항공기상정보의 신속화 및 전문화가 이루어짐과 동시에 신 공항 건설 전ㆍ후에 따른 대기환경 측면에서의 변화를 반드시 살펴보아야 한다. 따라서, 본 연구는 후자와 관련하여 인천국제공항 건설 후 안개발생에 초점을 맞추어 대기환경변화를 살펴보았다. (중략)

항공/여행 상품은 타 산업보다 불확실성에 취약하며 시간의 절대적인 종속성으로 인해 정확한 수요 파악 및 예측을 하지 못할 경우 가치가 0으로 수렴한다. 이에 본 논문은 웹 크롤링을 기반으로 잠재여행 욕구를 파악하고, 향후 성장할 것으로 예상되는 항공 노선 및 취항지를 예측 및 분석하는 기법을 제안하고자 한다.
