산한지통(散寒止痛)의 효능(效能)이 있는 고량강(高良薑)이 체내 면역활성에 미치는 영향을 검토하기 위하여 인삼과 함께 실험을 행하여 아래와 같은 결과를 얻었다. 고량강(高良薑) 및 인삼 수침액을 Sarcoma-180 고형 종양 세포를 이식한 생쥐에 투여하여 생존기간을 연장시켰다. 이를 바탕으로 면역에 대한 효과를 검토한 결과, 정상 ICR 생쥐에서 고량강(高良薑) 수침액은 백혈구수, 체중에 대한 상대적 비장의 무게를 약간 감소시켰으나 통계적으로는 유의성이 없었고, 간에는 영향을 주지 않았다. in vitro 실험에서, splenic IgM PFCs을 유의성있게 증가시켰으며, BSA를 주사한 생쥐에서의 Arthus반응도 증가시켰다. 그러나, 지연형 과민반응에는 영향을 주지 않았으며, 비특이성 면역에 관여하는 Macrophage 등의 탐식 세포의 기능에도 영향을 주지 않았다. 이상의 결과, 고양강은 체액성 면역을 강화할 것으로 보여진다.

Coastal settlements have a diversity of tangible or intangible local assets and are environmentally sensitive areas. The value of tangible or intangible local assets is often overlooked and there is no enough consideration for the inhabitants who have a various and acute stake in the development process of coastal settlements. The development of coastal settlements without consideration for the local circumstance, resident's needs, and local characteristics makes it difficult to achieve sustainable regeneration. There are also alienation, conflicts, and the loss of a authentic sense of place because of physical oriented development without regard to the social, economic, and cultural aspects. This research defines the components and types of coastal settlements and draws the characteristics of them around the fishery ports in Busan in the aspect of sustainable regeneration. It will be the important methods for an integrated regeneration including not only spatial and physical regeneration but also social and economic regeneration which has the preservation of local culture with living conditions, local economy activation, and community building. It will also provides the bases of sustainable development, attractiveness, and competitiveness of coastal settlements.

'정보의 바다, 기회의 바다'라 칭할 수 있는 '인터넷'이 사회 전반에 보급 확대됨에 따라 '정보화 사회' 라는 표현만큼 우리에게 친숙해진 용어는 흔하지 않을 것이다. 전화나 우편 등 1차적인 통신 매체를 통한 정보 교류의 문화가 PC의 등장과 함께 EDI(Electronic Data interchange)의 전자통신 문화로 연계되면서, 산업부문의 업무효율성 증가, 생산 비용 감소 등의 효과 창출을 통해 기업 Reengineering을 위한 주요한 수단이 되었다는 것은 주지의 사실이다. 더욱이 최근 21세기 국가전략산업으로의 정보통신산업의 육성이라는 정부의 발표는 286만에 이른 국내 정보통신 이용자와 35만에 이르는 인터넷이용자의 증가현상과 함께 금세기 말까지 전세계 1억대의 컴퓨터와 1백만개의 Network이 연결될, 인터넷을 활용할 정보통신산업의 미래를 예견한 조치라 할 수 있을 것이다.

지난 30년 동안 서구과학계는 엄청난 변화의 물결이 일어났다. 과학은 무미건조하고 어떤 감동도 주지 못하며 예술과는 거리가 멀다고 생각해 왔다. 그러나 과학과 예술과 함께 자연을 경험하는 두 가지 상호 보완적인 방법의 하나로서 최근 자연 속의 복잡한 모양이 내재하는 규칙을 이해하려는 프렉탈 과학을 통하여 과학과 예술간의 실제적 접목이 여러 가지 방향으로 시도되고 있다. 우리의 미적 감각은 자연에 나타나는 질서와 무질서의 조화로운 배열에 의해서 영감을 받는다. (중략)

As a pioneer study to figure out the compilation of Uepji(town chronicles) of Chunnam region in the Chosun Dynasty, it is analyzed the Uepji of Jangheung. It could help systemize the study of the compilation of Uepji about other town in Chunnam region. Through the examination of exisisting Uepji of Jangheung and actual reviewing of books, characteristics of them were explored systematically. As the result, there were 10 kinds of Uepji which were compiled from the period of King Youngjo to 1910. The system of Uepji was based upon "the new version of Dongkukyeochiseungram" and was added up new items. Characteristics of Uepji of Jangheung are : 1) There were 3 titles of Uepji which were described by focusing on each county(坊), specially 'Inmul(personage)' shows their strong community spirit and enlightening by neo-Confucianism. 2) There were 2 titles of Uepji which were described by focusing on the military, we can understand the importance of military and circumstantial intelligence. 3) There were 4 titles of Uepji which were compiled by government, they reflect the spirit of age. Also the result of comparison with other town chronicles like "Hamju-Chi", "Kimhae-Uepji", it shows Jangheung was the one of major military town.
