Assemblage has become a popular concept in modern socio-spatial theories with relational and material turns. This article investigates the concept of assemblage focusing on Deleuze and Guattari. By comparing similar concepts such as Foucault's apparatus and Actor-Network Theory, this article demonstrates that assemblage emphasizes not only deterritorialization but also (re)territorialization, and that the exteriality of relations is a critical aspect that differentiate assemblage from other relational spatial concepts. Assemblage can highlight the value of empiricism as an analytical tool, and be open to new spatial imaginations as well as multiple existences and possiblities of alternative political projects and practices.

텍스타일의 발전에 있어서 진보적 기술혁신은 합성섬유의 잠재력을 높이는데 큰 촉매 역할을 해왔는데 그 중 가장 두드러지게 성공적인 분야는 바로 스트레치 직물 분야이다. 스트레치는 그자체의 다양한 종류와 변화무쌍한 특성과 함께 스포츠 웨어, 캐주얼웨어 뿐 아니라 최근에는 정장류 남성복에 이르기 까지 그 사용범위와 미적 표현이 크게 증가되고 다양해졌다. 스트레치의 미는 기능적이고 편안하면서도 직물자체의 유동적인 특성과 함께 인체와 더불어 표출되는시각적 이미지가 현대미에 새로운 개념을 더하고있다는 데에 그 가치가 있다. 본 연구목적은 현대 패션디자인에 표현되어진 스트레치의 미적 개념과 가치가 무엇인가를 발견하는데 있다. 특히 섬유과학기술의 진보로 인한 스트레치 직물의 다양함과 그에대한 디자이너들의 패션철학과 디자인의 다양한 변화를 강조하고 나아가 다음세기를 위한 보다 나은 디자인의 방향을 제시해 보고자한다. 연구결과는 다음과같다. 1, 스트레치의 가장 두드러지는 현대적 미는 편안함과 기능성에 있다. 특히 스트레치 직물 자체가 더욱 가벼워지고 강해지면서 현대생활과 미래생활에서 가장 크게 중시되고 있는 comfortable & functional 의 이상적인 개념을 충적시켜 주고 있다. 2. 스트레치 직물의 유동적특징에서 대표적으로 나타난 스타일은 바디스트인데 이것은 스트레치 자체의 신축성이 기본적으로 인체곡선 위에서 표현되어진 것으로서 거의 비슷한 스타일의 uniformity 현상을 낳게 되었고 또한 인체선의 드러남으로 인해 'healthy'이미지 추구라는 현대미의 새로운 개념을 가져왔다. 2. 더욱 정교해진 스트레치는 결국 transparent look을 낳았고 또한 비치는 직물들을 겹쳐입는 layering 현상을 가져왔는데 이것은 현대적 순수미와 여성미가 시감각적 이미지로 표현되어진 것이라 할수 있다. 4. 스트레치가 되므로서 생기는 긴장은 다른 디자인 요소들에 대해서는 극히 단순한 것을 요구하면서 결국 simplicity를 동반하게 되었다. 5. 스트레치는 디자인 구성 요소들의 보다 작은 개념을 낳았는데 즉 더욱 좁아진 형과 작아진 사이즈 없어지거나 줄어든 다트와 구성선 그리고 그에따라 줄어든 공정과 낮아진 가격이다. 이 개념은 현대미의 minimalism의 한 현상으로 해석되어지며 스트레치 직물은 여기에 가장 부합되는 소재가 되었다. 6. 스트레치의 시각적 이미지는 그자체가 'easy' 'free'느낌과 함께 보편적이면서 미래적이다. 이상으로 볼 때 미래의 패션은 보다 진보적인 섬유과학발전에 힘입어 21세기의 새로운 환경에 잘 적응 할 수 있는 합리적이면서도 미적 가치가 내포된 인간에게 보다 친숙한 디자인으로 전개되리라고 생각되어진다.

Chemical reactions in cells are so complicated and abstract that students have difficulty in understanding them. In this study, classes with the application of systematic analogies used at the interpretation of experimental results were taught to 10th-grade students in order to help them to understand the concept of enzymes, which play an important role in chemical reactions in cells. Effects of the classes on their understanding of the concept of enzymes and the role of systematic analogies were analyzed. The gap of understanding between the test group and the control group was significant at 0.05, indicating that systematic analogies are effective for students' understanding of the concept of enzymes. Looking into the concept of enzymes by individual element, the effect of systematic analogies was shown to be large for equilibrium-like processes, such as the enzyme structure change caused by temperature and pH; and the continuous and random actions of enzymes, which students have difficulty in understanding. For these processes, systematic analogies played a positive role in improving their conceptual status. The visualizations and familiarity of analogs increased their intelligibility regarding the concept of enzyme. Also, the systematic analogies increases their plausibility by helping to connect phenomena, taking place in the enzyme reaction experiments, with scientific concepts as scaffold. Accordingly, it was possible to explain experimental results as scientific concepts in a consistent manner. In addition, analogies familiar to students played a positive role from the affective perspective by promoting students' interest and helping them to approach hard scientific concepts.

요즈음 우리 사회에 유행하는 신세대론은 사회적 실체에 기반을 둔 분석적인 개념이라기보다는 상당 부분 매스컴이 만들어내는 가상현실에 기반하여 만들어진 것이라 할 수 있다. 어느 사회, 어느 시대에서나 존재하는 세대차이를 신세대라는 범주로 묶으려는 것은 바로 시장을 세대별로 세분화하여 상품의 영역을 확대함으로써 이윤을 극대화하려는 자본주의 시장논리이다. 이러한 맥락에서 신세대라는 개념이 등장하게 되었고 뒤이어 미시족, 체크족, 트윈 X세대 등 여러 용어로 범주화되는 유사 세대개념들이 등장하며 또 이 개념들이 매스컴의 스포트라이트를 받고 있는 것이다. 따라서 우리는 신세대론에 매몰되어 그들을 도덕적으로 판단하기보다는 변화되는 사회환경의 분석과 함께 그들의 문화를 이해하고 포용하여 눈높이를 맞추려는 노력을 기울일 필요가 있다.

고령사회로 들어서면서 장수의 개념에 대한 인식을 새롭게 해야 할 필요성이 커지고 있다. 장수라는 용어를 단순한 연령적, 시간적 개념이 아니라 사회적 측면에서 보다 능동적이고 적극적인 삶을 영위할 수 있는 새로운 계층의 출현이라는 개념으로 인식해야 할 시점이 된 것이다. 새롭게 도출되는 장수문화란 종래의 연령적 특수계층인 고령자 중심의 노인문화라는 개념이 아니라 고령사회에서 사회구성원인 인간들이 남녀노소 모두 함께 어우러져 인간으로서의 존엄성을 유지하면서 건강하게 살고 사회적 책임을 다할 수 있는 관념 및 규범체계가 아닐까?

This study reviewed the literature on the self-distancing method for emotion regulation. Self-distancing refers to taking a step back in dealing with one's own experiences and interpreting them in a relatively objective manner. Studies have indicated that self-distancing affects cognitive and emotional processes, which are particularly beneficial in regulating negative emotions. Therefore, this study focused on organizing previous results to summarize their meaning, assess means of measurement, and analyze possible effects. Above all, the related concepts of an observer's rational perspective and self-reflection were presented to clarify the definition of self-distancing, followed by a discussion of its measurement. Based on this, the effects of self-distancing were introduced according to their emotional, cognitive, physiological, developmental, and behavioral aspects. However, despite repeated verification of the positive effects of self-distancing, there are several inconsistencies that require consideration. Finally, we suggested the study's academic and practical implications and recommended directions for further research.

Started from the Industrial Revolution in England, the design movement, the concept of plastic arts is spread and developed in many European countries. It meets new phase due to the much more developed industrial techniques and internationalized era since the World War II. The concept of identity in design appeared with industrial diversification, specialization, and inter- nationalization comes out through every visual identification standards. And the concept is used in public facilities and groups such as national institutions, schools, hospitals, or lots of religious bodies, as well as in industries to aim at the most profit from products' sale. Since the opening of Seoul National University of Technology in 1910, the university which has long history and tradition of about 90 years has used the unique visual identification in changing the University name to meet with the surrounding environment and the timely characteristics. However, the English name for the University was changed in 1998, so the new era to leap was open. Therefore, the University introduced formally the concept of U. I. (University Identification) with the new image. It is an inevitable outcome of modern time.

타르스키는 최근 발표된 그의 유고에서 흥미 있는 논리상항의 정의를 제공하였다. 그의 정의는 그가 1927년이래 린덴바움과 함께 연구하였고, 1935년에 강연으로 발표하였던 메타 논리적 탐구의 결과들에 근거하는 것으로서, 1966년과 1973년의 강연들에서 제공하였던 '논리적 개념들'(logical notions)의 정의에 바탕을 둔 것이었다. 타르스키의 논리상항의 정의는 역사적으로는 클라인의 에어랑겐 프로그램(Erlangen Programme)의 논리학에 대한 적용이라 할 수 있는 것으로서, 마우트너의 유사한 시도와 함께 주목할 만한 가치가 있다. 또한 그의 정의는 논리상항을 논리적 형식의 개념에 의존하지 않고, 보다 중립적인 '모든 변환에 있어 불변적임'(invariance under all transformations)이라는 개념을 사용하고 있다는 점에서도 흥미있는 시도로서 여겨질 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 타르스키의 논리상항의 정의와 그 확장에 대하여 논의한 뒤, 몇 가지 비판적인 논점을 제공하고자 한다. 특히 타르스키의 정의가 과연 중립적이고 순환적이지 않은가 하는 문제에 대한 논의를 통하여 논리상항의 정의에 대한 새로운 관점을 확보하고자 한다.

언어표현에 대한 해석은 그 구성요소들의 통사적-어휘적 구조에 덧붙여 대명사의 동일지시를 살펴야 할 필요가 있다. 조응의 분석과 조응적 선행사를 찾기 위한 효과적인 방법을 발견하는 것이 컴퓨터 언어학(computational linguistics), 특히 자연언어 이해체계(Natural Language understanding system)에 관한 연구의 중심적인 문제라고 할 수 있다. 이 논문의 목적은 영어 조응표현을 개념구조 이론(Conceptual Structure Theory)의 개념도식(conceptual graph)에 의하여 기술함으로써 단문에서뿐만 아니라 복문, 양화구문, 그리고 담화에 이르기까지 언어 전반에 걸쳐 나타나는 동일지시성(coreferenciality)을 간단하고 일관성 있게 설명하는 것이다. 이러한 조응현상을 설명하기 위하여 필자는 개념도식상의 개념을 중심개념, 직접개념, 간접개념으로 구분하고 이들이 문맥깊이 등과 더불어 동일지시성을 설명하는데 중심적 역할을 함을 보이고자 한다.
