A note for Sino-Korean terminology of mathematics (수학에 쓰이는 한자말에 대한 소고)

  • Most of elementary and secondary school mathematical terms in Korean are Sino-Korean words. We check Chinese characters relating to such Sino-Korean words by using Chinese dictionaries, and critically judge how much we can understand Sino-Korean words by Chinese characters. Through this search, we classify Sino-Korean words into three categories; words which can be understood by Chinese characters, words which can not be understood by Chinese characters, words which are misunderstood by Chinese characters.

  • Sino-Korean words make almost 70% of Korean words. Chinese Characters are very different from Hangul (Korean alphabet system) in form and they are semantic symbols. Therefore Korean and foreign students are very likely to have difficulty in mastering the Sino-Korean characters. This paper aims at reviewing the problems of teaching Chinese characters to Koreans and foreigners in Korea, and proposing how to teach them effectively. For this purpose, we first look into the realities of the national system of Chinese characters' education, and then suggest more effective instructions in teaching Chinese characters.

  • Interest in Chinese edutainment contents product has been increasing with the importance of Chinese Education Recently, empirical education with some fun activities is in the limelight breaking the traditional passive learning. Due to a such social necessity, we develop web-based Chinese Edutainment Contents for children, utilizing multimedia functions. Especially since writing Education is very important in learning chinese characters, we also developed a writing recognition function which checks the order of making strokes in writing Chinese character. Different from the existing outline area-based writing system, it determines if the character is well-written comparing to the prestored reference points in each Chinese characters, after recognizing the order of strokes and extracting peculiar points.

  • 현대는 인터넷이 급속히 성장하고 있고 인터넷 사용자들은 홈페이지를 이용한 각종 정보의 활용하고 있으며 정보 통신망을 이용한 멀티미디어 기반의 서비스 산업화의 활성화 실현으로 인해 교육분야에서도 많은 변화가 일어나고 있다. 이러한 인터넷 교육분야에 맞춰서 한자를 배우고자 하는 학습자들에게 Edutainment식 한자학습을 구현하여 한자를 즐겁고 재미있게 학습할 수 있도록 하는 사이버 한자학습 강의를 제안하고자 한다.

  • 멀티미디어의 기술이 발전하고 인터넷이 보편화되면서 인터넷을 이용한 원격교육의 기술이 많이 연구되고 있으며 많은 교육·학습 분야에도 이용되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 한자 학습을 Edutainment식으로 구현하여 보다 재미있고 흥미롭게 구성하였으며 한자학습 코스웨어는 한자의 조합과 상형 문자의 변천과정 학습, 게임에 의한 학습, 에니메이션 전개형, 한자-한글 변만의 네 가지로 제안한다.

  • When Chinese character used in Korea, so did the characters' pronunciation, so many Korean Chinese characters today have similar pronunciation with Chinese, but since Korean and Chinese pronunciations were preserved and developed in different alphabets, the written letter of the pronunciation also differs. This study on Chinese education, has constructed and implemented an easy way to study Chinese pronunciations by creating conversion rule set between Chinese pronunciation, Chinese Hanyu latin Pinyin and Korean chinese character pronunciation consisting of an initial sound, a medial vowel, and a final consonant. This study has established web version and application version of this conversion rule set education system to enhance Chinese education.

  • As Chinese characters occupies more than 70% of words we currently use, the education of Chinese characters is becoming important day by day to accurately deliver the meaning of words in our language life. In recent, there are increasing concerns on writing Chinese characters correctly as well as reciting, books and Internet contents on Chinese character writing is emerging. However, currently available Internet media on the Chinese characters education only illuminates recitation and interpretation. Moreover, the writing part is merely provided in the form of paper by printing the characters, thus, writing materials are insufficient. In this paper, we propose a design and implementation of Web based Chinese characters writing system. Using the system, a user can write Chinese characters with mouse device. The learning progress is accordingly managed for the user. In addition, the proposed system can be used any place in where Internet is connected.

  • 본 논문에서는 한자 학습을 원적지에서 Edutainment식이나 멀티미디어 요소를 웹 기반으로 하는 실시간 한자 원격교육 시스템을 구현하였다. 이는 웹 기반의 한자 코스웨어(Coursewear) 및 텍스트 기반의 한자 획이나 뜻에 맞도록 설계되어 실시간으로 제공한다. 이 한자 코스웨어는 한자 학습을 교재를 제공하여, 오소웨어(Authorwear)적으로 구현된다. 또한 자바의 애플릿(Applet)과 자바 에플리테이션(Applicatioll)으로 구현되었고, 자바 서블릿(Seulet)을 이용하여 CGI 프로그램 형태로 작성된다.

한중한자자형비교연구(韓中漢字字形比較硏究)2 - 한문(漢文) 교육용(敎育用) 기초한자(基礎漢字) 고등학교용(高等學校用) 900자(字)를 중심(中心)으로

  • 作者对韩国教育部指定的"漢文敎育用基礎漢字高等學校用900字"跟中国规范汉字字形, 进行比较分析的结果如下: (1)字形完全一样的(在附录"高中学校用900字"汉字旁边标注为"="), 一共有424个汉字(约占47%); (2)字形相似的(在附录"高中学校用900字"汉字旁边标注为"Δ"), 一共有86个汉字(约占10%); (3)字形不同的(在附录"高中学校用900字"汉字旁边标注为"×"), 一共有389个汉字(约占43%). 字形相似, 不等于字形相同, 所以也应该看作字形不同的字, 属于这两种情况的字合起来, 一共有475个(约占53%). 韩中汉字字形不同的主要来源, 不止"简化字"和"传承字里的新字形", 还有"从一些异体字里选出来的正体字"也和韩国常用汉字字形不同.
