We report several case of the statistical consulting in Oriental medicine. Recently, we are interested in the Oriental Gynecology. In this problem, the type of differentiation of symptoms and signs are classified based on a diagnostician in the questionnaire.

The statistics of traditional korean medicine is essential aspects for the information based policy establishment and the evidence based traditional korean medicine research. But because the integrated statistics service of traditional korean medicine is not provided, people are hard to find out suitable statistics. Thus we analyzed the produced statistics from many ministries, classified it into 7 categories and extracted common fields from it. We designed the database schema by summary table dynamic production method from the analysis of statistics and designed the system composed of excel import, statistics analysis, chart creation and search engine. Finally we implemented the statistics system of traditional korean medicine which users are capable of modifying the statistics data freely. We hope that the implemented system will provide pliability in searching and finding statistical information.

본문은 지앙난(강남(江南))의 저명한 중의학가(中醫學家) 및 그들의 주된 성취에 대하여 비교적 자세히 통계를 내고 탐색을 했으며, 상당한 사료(史料)와 의적(醫籍)의 분석연구를 거쳐서, 중의이론체계(中醫理論體系)가 충실해지고 풍부해지며, 학술사상이 창조되고, 진단 치료의 경험이 향상되고, 중국외 의학과의 교류 등 방면에서 지앙난 중의학가의 위대한 성취와 걸출한 공헌을 종합했다.

This paper is proposed that ontology_based Oriental Medicine Customer Relationship Management system is designed with existing OCS, EMR, ERP system for oriental medicine center of efficient customer information management and analysis. As using ontology technique, we support oriental medicine service at grade according to quality and healthy of the customer. Also we designed 4 kind oriental medicine customer relationship management system frame - customer management, public relations/marketing, service management, statistics/analysis - in the customer management process standardization through a medical expert system.

배경 : 의과학과 사회-경제학의 발전은 인간 수명 연장에 지대한 공헌을 해 왔다. 그러나 결과적으로 피부 질환으로 고생하는 노인 인구도 증가하였다. 본 연구에서는 동국대학교 한방 안이비인후피부과에 피부질환을 주소증으로 내원한 성인 환자들을 대상으로 임상 양상을 조사해 보고 고령사회에서 어떻게 한방 피부과 의료 수요 변화에 대처하고 발전해 나아갈 수 있을지 그 방법을 모색해 볼 수 있는 근거 자료로 활용하기 위해 수행하였다. 연구방법 : 2002년 1월부터 2004년 12월 까지 3년 동안 동국대학교 한방 안이비인후피부과에 피부 질환을 주소증으로 내원한 319명의 환자를 대상으로 하였다. 그들을 내원시기, 연령, 성별로 나누어 질환별 분포를 조사하였다. 통계분석은 $X^2$ test(Window, SPSS 11.0)를 사용하였고 p <.05를 유의수준으로 하였다. 결과 : 2002년부터 2004년 까지 질환별 분포를 살펴보면 습진 21.9%, 소양증 20.4%. 여드름 16.9%,로 나타났다. 2002년에는 습진 17.0%, 소양증 16.0%, 여드름이 14.9%였다. 2003년에는 소양증 34.2%, 두드러기가 23,3%, 습진이 17.1%였다. 2004년에는 습진 61.4%, 여드름 21.1%, 소양증 15.8%였다. 이들 결과는 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보였다($X^2\;=\;54.135^{***}$, p = .000, df : 20). 남자에서는 습진이 25.0%로 가장 많았고 소양증 19.5%, 두드러기 12.5%, 지루성 피부염 11.7%로 나타났다. 여자에서는 여드름이 22.0%로 가장 많았고 소양증 20.9%, 습진 19.9%였다. 이들 결과는 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보였다($X^2\;=\;19.839^*$, p = .031, df : 10). 20대 환자에서는 여드름이 24.1%로 가장 많았고 습진과 소양증이 각각 19.5%였다. 30대 환자군에서는 습진이 30.3%였고 소양증이 19.1%였다. 40대에서는 소양증이 28.8%였고 지루성 피부염이 16.0%였다. 50대에서는 습진이 26.7%였고 60세 이상의 그룹에서는 습진이 50.0%, 바이러스 질환과 소양증이 각각 15.0%였다. 이들 결과는 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보였다($X^2\;=\;74.995^{**}$, p = .001, df : 40). 결론 : 상대적으로 50세 이상 연령충의 대상 환자 수가 많지 않은 원인은 여리 가지 분석이 가능할 것으로 생각된다. 연령에 따라 피부질환이 다른 양상을 보임을 고려할 때 노인층의 신체적, 경제적, 사회적 특성을 이해하고 이에 따른 효과적이고 사회-경제학적 부담을 최소할 수 있는 한방 치료 영역의 확대 및 개발이 필요할 것으로 사려된다.

The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of oriental medicine Qi Gong program on the anxiety and self efficacy among children using community child center. With a quasi-experimental design, 88 persons with children using community child center were assigned into an experimental group (n=45) or a control group (n=43). The anxiety and self efficacy were measured at both before and after the oriental medicine Qi Gong program. Date were analyzed with SPSS/WIN using descriptive statistics, t-test, ${\chi}^2$-test and ANOVA. After controlling for self efficacy scores in the experimental group improved more than the control group(t=2.456, p=.016). Anxiety scores were not significant in the experimental group decreased than the others. Oriental medicine Qi Gong program can decreased anxiety and improved self efficacy among children using community child center.

This study conducted to investigate the effects of dietary Korean medical herb residue on egg quality and serum cholesterol of laying hens under heat stress. One hundred forty four, 41 weeks old ISA brown commercial layer, were used in a 28 d growth assay with a 7d adjustment period. Dietary treatments Included 1) Control (basal diet), 2) KMHR1.0 (basal diet+1.0% korean medical herb residue), 2) KMHR2.0 (basal diet+2.0% Korean medical herb residue). For overall Period, laying hens fed KMHR1.0 diet were higher hen-day egg production than laying hens fed Control and KMHR2.0 diets with significant difference (quadratic effect, p<0.01). Egg weight, egg shell breaking strength and egg shell thickness were not influenced by Korean medical herb residue supplementation (P>0.05). As adding level of Korean medical herb residue increased in the diets, yolk color tended to increase, however, the differences failed to reach significance (P>0.05). Also, egg yolk index was not influenced by korean medical herb residue supplementation (P>0.05). Total-, HDL- LDL+VLDL-cholesterol and triglyceride concentrations in serum tended to increase as the concentration of Korean medical herb residue in the diets was increased without significant difference (P>0.05). In conclusion, supplementing 1.0% Korean medical herb residue to a corn SBM meal diet for laying hens increased hen-day egg production.

최근 한의학 분야에서도 객관성 확보를 위한 학문적 경험의 수량화연구가 일반화되고 있다. 이의 일환으로 한방부인과의 진단 기준 프로그램개발이 요구되고 있으며 본 논문에서는 이에 대한 해결책으로 가중주성분분석을 이용한 변증점수 개발을 제안하고 있다. 또한 이 과정에서 변증유형별 점수 비교를 하기 위한 변증점수의 사후조정에 대한 방법도 제시하고있다.

Objectives: This study aimed to evaluate the degree of satisfaction of cancer patients and to understand their motives for visiting Korean Medicine Hospital in order to increase satisfaction with Korean medicine among cancer patients. Methods: Data collection was conducted in the form of a survey of 100 inpatients who responded to a self-report questionnaire. Independent t-test and analysis of variance (ANOVA) were used for data analysis. Results: The main reason for visiting Korean Medicine Hospital was to prevent metastasis or recurrence of cancer. Patients showed the highest satisfaction with acupuncture and moxibustion. The average degree of satisfaction related to the doctor service was, on a 5-point scale, 4.80, and that of using procedure was 4.68. Conclusion: Most of the cancer patients are satisfied with the medical services in Korean Medicine Hospital. There were no significant differences in satisfaction degree by gender, age, or occupation.

The domestic market of oriental herbal cosmetics has rapidly grown in the last few years. In this study, we investigated female consumers' cosmetics-buying behavior to know their appreciation of oriental herbal cosmetics. We also tried to deduce the strategies for growth and development of the oriental herbal cosmetics market in the future. A survey was conducted with women ranging in age from 20 to 50, who resided in Seoul; a total of 400 questionnaires were distributed and then 344 copies of those. were collected and analyzed statistically. This study provides basic information about the present status of oriental herbal cosmetics market and the real state of the cosmetic consumption. The consumers needs identified in this study, provides basic data in setting a marketing strategy for the oriental herbal cosmetics market.
