A computation model for Resource-based Lifting loads of the lift-cars for super high-rise buildings (초고층 건축물 리프트카 양중계획수립을 위한 자원기반의 양중부하 산정 모형)

  • Constructing super-tall buildings is significantly different from constructing general ones in every technological and managerial aspects. Especially lift-car operations planning and management is one of core parts among various management techniques required during the course of the whole construction process of the super-tall buildings because vertical movements of physical resources enormously affect the efficiency of the construction processes. However, discrepancy between lifting plans and actual lifting operations causes serious efficiency problems. As an effort to solve the problem, this research suggests an improved method of estimating resource-based lifting load. The computing model developed as a result of this research facilitates more accurate computation of the total operation time and the maximum lifting capacity of the lift-cars. Further, this research can be developed as a decision support system for the total lift-car operations management.

Development and Application of Large-diameter Cut-hole Exploration System for Assessment of the Geological Condition beyond NATM Tunnel Face (NATM 터널의 굴착면 전방 지질 평가를 위한 대구경 심발공 탐사 시스템 개발 및 적용 사례)

  • Recently, the development of underground space has been accelerated with rapid urbanization, and it is significantly important for safe construction to accurately understand the geological conditions of the section when excavating rocks. In this paper, a boring alignment tracking and geological exploration system have been developed to identify the geological conditions beyond the excavation face by utilizing a MSP method that bores a large empty hole to reduce blast-induced vibration. The major advantage of the proposed exploration system is that we can obtain the ground condition of 50 m ahead of the excavation face through exploration along blast cut-holes drilled for the NATM tunnel construction. In addition, we introduce several case histories regarding the assessment of the geological conditions beyond the tunnel face by monitoring the inside of large empty holes using the proposed hole exploration system.

  • 공적개발원조(Official Development Assistance; 이하 ODA)는 세계 평화와 인류 공영에 이바지하기 위하여 개발도상국 또는 국제기구에 공여하는 증여(Grant) 및 양허적 성격의 차관(Concession Loan)으로(한국환경산업기술원, 2013), 당해 사업의 추진방식은 크게 양자간 원조와 다자간 원조 방식으로 구분된다. 양자간 원조는 공여국으로부터 수원국으로 원조자원이 직접 전달되는 방식인 반면, 다자간 원조방식은 IMF, ADB, IBRD, WB, EBRD, IDA 등 국제개발은행(MDB, Multilateral Development Bank) 및 UN 등에 출자 또는 출연됨으로써 간접적으로 원조자원이 전달되는 방식이다(오지택, 2012). 그리고 양자간 원조방식은 프로젝트 참여 국가를 제한하느냐, 제한하지 않느냐에 따라 구속성 원조(tied)와 비구속성(un-tied) 방식으로 구분된다. 그런데 이러한 양자간 ODA 원조 방식에 변화의 바람이 일고 있다. 국제 사회에서는 ODA 원조의 효과성 제고라는 명분하에 공여국들에게 원조방식의 비-구속성 원조를 촉구, 그 규모가 빠르게 증가하고 있다. 즉 ODA 비구속성 원조를 중심으로 한 또 하나의 시장이 성장하고 있는 것이다. 이에 본 논고에서는 ODA, 특히 물 관련 ODA 자금의 미래 성장 가능성을 살펴보고, 나아가 시장 분포, 프로젝트 특성 등을 살펴보고자 한다.

A Study on the Adjustment of Tariff Rates and Construction Fee in Korean District Heating Industry (지역난방사업의 공사비부담금과 열요금 연계조정방안에 관한 연구)

  • Korean district heating companies levy comprehensive construction fee on consumers in the beginning of construction period and the consumers' burden is much higher than those in any other network industries in Korea. It has also many problems such as inappropriate fee calculation method, cross subsidization, property right dispute, etc.. I show that the cut of construction fee by 30% and at the same time, the upward adjustment of tariff rates by 4~6% for 20 years on average will maintain current profitability based on the standard model simulation, I also suggest that fixed charge part of double tariff should be increased to 25% of total tariff and the cut of construction fee should be levied on fixed charge, directly to improve efficiency.

  • For its essential importance as a resource, sustainable development of groundwater has been major research interests for many decades. Conventional characterization of aquifer and groundwater has relied on borehole data from observation well. Although borehole data provide useful information on yield and flow of groundwater, it is often difficult and sometimes costly to estimate the spatial distribution of groundwater in entire aquifer. Geophysical probing is an alternative techique that provides such information due to its capability to image subsurface structures as well as to delineate spatial distribution of hydraulic parameters. This study presents various technical information about geophysical probing to estimate main characteristics of aquifer for groundwater exploitation. Subsequently, we analyzed representative cases, in which geophysical methods were applied to identify the location of the groundwater, classify freshwater and brine, derive hydraulic constants, and monitor groundwater.

  • 협회 최주섭 부회장은 5월 26일부터 3박4일간 일본 츠키지 농수산물도매시장, 환경박람회 등을 한국해양수산개발원, 수산신문, 자원순환사회연대, 구리농수산물도매시장관리공사, 스티로폴 재활용사업자 등과 함께 민산관 합동으로 수산물상자 사용 및 재활용기술에 대한 현지견학을 다녀왔다. 이번 행사는 선진국의 수산물상자 사용 및 재활용실태를 기초로 하여 귀국 후 관련 전문가 간담회를 개최하여 최근 시설 현대화계획 중인 가락동, 노량진, 구리 농수산물도매시장 등 수도권 농수산물도매시장의 수산물 포장상자의 사용 및 재활용방법에 개선방안을 제시함으로서, 수산물의 유통의 청결 유지, 시장 환경 개선 및 포장상자의 자원화에 기여하고자 하였다.
