글로벌 금융위기 이후 우리나라의 조선사와 해운사의 경영악화가 심화되고 있다. 해양플랜트 시장의 성장에 맞춰 OSV의 성장도 두드러지는 실정이지만, 우리나라의 조선사와 해운사의 진출은 아직 초보단계에 머물러 있다. OSV는 우리나라의 경제성장의 한 축을 담당했던 조선-해운의 동반성장 모델과 마찬가지로 OSV건조-운영은 침체에 빠져있는 우리나라 조선사와 해운사에 좋은 성장기회를 제공하여 동반성장이 가능한 좋은 전략이 될 수 있을 것이다. 이에 본 원고에서는 국내 조선사와 해운사가 OSV 시장에 동반진출할 수 있는 방안을 제시하였다.

해운물류 통계는 해운항만분야의 정책수립 및 진단, 연구 학술활동과 경영계획 수립 등에 활용되는 중요한 기초 자료이다. 국내 관련 기관들은 각자의 역할과 목적에 따라 다양한 통계들을 제공하고 있다. 본 연구는 이들을 조사 분석하고 해운물류 통계에 대한 수요조사를 통해 기존 해운물류통계들의 이용도와 만족도, 문제점 그리고 개선방향을 분석하였다. 수요조사와 종합적인 물류분석의 체계를 반영하여 향후 해운물류 통계 표준화에 필요한 개선안을 제시함으로써 이용 편의성을 제고시키고자 하였다.

본 연구는 지속가능한 물류활동에서 관심을 받고 있는 내항해운(연안해운)의 물류네트워크를 파악하기위한 기초분석으로서 연안여객항로에 관하여 네트워크를 파악하였다. 최근에 기존의 계량적 통계분석방법을 뛰어넘어 존재하고 있는 구조와 실체를 파악하기위해 사회연결망분석이 도입되고 있는 상황에서, 우리나라 연안해운항로의 네트워크를 파악하고자 하였다. 내항해운은 화물운송과 여객운송으로 구별되나 본 연구에서는 화물선만 고려하였다. 국가물류통합정보센터와 해운항만물류정보시스템을 활용하여 한국의 내항해운의 중심성을 분석하였다. 중심성 분석을 위해서 화물선 출입항 척수와 화물처리량을 변수로 사용하여 Pajek과 UCINET 등의 SNA 프로그램을 이용한 결과 내항해운 네트워크를 도식화하고 파악하였다. 결과적으로 네트워크의 node에 해당하는 항만 중에서 어떤 항만이 가장 중요한 노드인지를 찾고, 네트워크 구조가 얼마나 소수의 중요한 항만에게 집중되는 것인지를 확인하기 위하여 중심성 분석을 통해 파악하였다.

최근 해운시황의 호전으로 전세계적으로 해운시장에 많은 자금이 몰리고 있는 가운데 프랑스계은행이 한국의 관련 제도를 이용하여 선박금융을 체결, 세계해운업계의 이목을 끌고 있다. 특히 이러한 계약은 조선국가에서의 선진금융기법을 활용했다는 점에서 우리나라가 세계 선박금융의 새로운 시장으로 부각되고 있다. 다음은 로이드에서 발간하는 월간지 'Shipping Economist' 8월호 기사내용과 선박금융지원과 관련한 한국수출보험공사의 입장을 정리한 것이다.

This study is aming at analysing the current trend of container shipping industry before and after COVID-19 Pandemic circumstances. Also, this study offers the political implications for 'the Korean Shipping Nation Rebuilding'. As a result of this study, the several global shipping lines have decreased their ship capacity in response to International Maritime Organization(IMO)'s environmental regulation. This finding is differ from the media reports, that is many shipping companies increased idling vessel to match the lower demand induced COVID-19 pandemic. This study also provides the two implications of the direction about Korean shipping policy. The first one is that the casual relationship of over-vessels' supply and Korea shipping policy is needed to be thoroughly analyzed. The importance of Koreans shipping industry is generally devaluated by most citizens so as to the Korean government should develop the mass media contents to enlighten the less wellknown people regarding shipping industry.

Shipping is a global industry, with 80% of the world's international trade of goods transported by sea. Many countries with large international trade volumes place great importance in developing their shipping industry. Recently changes in the world economy, international trade, world oil prices and other uncertainties have led to increased competition in the world shipping market. This is specially true, along the Pacific coast, where five of the world's major maritime countries, Japan, China, South Korea, Singapore and the United States are located. This paper aims to compare the international competitiveness of Japan, China, South Korea, Singapore and the United States with Port's Diamond Model and AHP analysis. The results of this research give some suggestions for international competitiveness of Chinese shipping industry, is very competitive in quantitative terms but is relatively weak in qualitative terms.

A shipbroking is maritime service business, which is consist of market of freight, shipbuilding, sales & purchase and demolition for intermediation between customer and supplier. In this way, a shipbroking business has strong relationship with shipping industry and is also knowledge service business for creation additional value based on shipping, shipbuilding, financial and law etc. However, the research on the evaluation items and a method for shipbroking company were not carried out in previous research. In this paper, We defined evaluation items with three high level, six middle level and sixteen low level for evaluation of shipbroking service by expert's brainstorming and AHP(analytic hierarchy process) method. And also carried out survey to employees of shipbroking company as supplier and shipping company as customer. As a result of survey, result of service in high level, convenient of middle level and credibility of low level are evaluated highly, and also business credit rating, profit of customer, achievement of customer's object are considered to more important than others items. In case of comparison between group, a method of contact with client, problem-solving ability, good relationship with clients of international and domestic evaluated importantly in common.
