바이오필릭 디자인은 인간의 정신적 건강과 심리적 안정, 치유와 회복을 경험할 수 있도록 공간과 장소를 창조하는 작업을 의미한다. 본 연구는 바이오필릭 디자인 분석틀을 적용하여 소쇄원의 치유·회복적 환경요인과 특성을 체계적으로 분석하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위해 바이오필릭 디자인 분류체계를 정립한 후 『소쇄원 48영』을 대상으로 내용분석과 빈도분석을 실시하였다. 48영에는 대나무, 소나무, 매화를 비롯한 식물 단어의 비율이 가장 높게 나타났으며, 시냇물, 폭포, 연못 등의 다양한 물 형태의 단어 뿐 아니라 역동적인 물흐름이나 물과의 상호작용 등에 관한 단어도 높은 순위로 나타났다. 또한, 시각적 경관요소와 미기후적인 요인, 후각이나 청각, 촉각 등의 감각적 자극요인, 계절적 변화를 통해 자연을 간접적으로 경험하게 하는 공감각적이고 감성적인 요소들이 다양하게 표현되었다. 공간적 경험요소와 관련하여 경관 조망 및 감상, 사색과 소통, 풍류를 가능하게 공간 및 동선 배치는 소쇄원의 풍부한 감각자원들을 감상하고 경험할 기회를 제공하고 있다. 결론적으로 바이오필릭 디자인 관점에서의 소쇄원의 치유회복적 가치를 48영을 통해 확인할 수 있었으며, 전통공간의 치유요인들에 대한 추후 연구가 필요할 것으로 판단된다.

This study is interested in how philological interpretation of a space text were patterned so as to give the text structural cohesion. A similar philological motivation incorporates some of the notions of generative grammar. Interpretation is the process of recovering the cultural meanings expressed in discourse by analysing the linguistic structures in the light of their interactional and wider social contexts. Viewed in this light, the process of this study is illustrated as follows: At first, this research contains basic concepts of signification of text and context, and theories of spacial text and context of typological structure in terms of Ricoeur's structural Hermeneutics. Secondly, it concretize a logic that traditional space context is inserted in organized attribute like emotion, spirit, nature as character of contemporary space text through typological structure. Finally, from aspect of designation theory among interpretive semantics, it shows that korean contemporary space design is incorporated with typological structure of korean traditional palace spacial context homologically through the case study of I-Hotel space design. Through this process, this study suggest that positivistic interpretation methodology by designation of text is logical thinking of Korean traditional space design.

본 연구의 목적은 현대 빅데이터 시대에서 급격히 발전하고 있는 사회적 배경아래, 현대 디자인 문화가 내포된 건축사상을 바탕으로, 중국의 4개 현대 상업건축 사례에 대한 디자인 문화 표현 특징에 대해 분석을 진행하였다. 현대 상업건축 실내 공간의 문화성은 주로 다섯 가지 측면에서 나타난다. 전통, 지역, 대중, 기술, 생태, 이것을 복합적으로 통합하여, 상업건축의 지속가능성과 다양성을 촉진한다.

This study is about Foucault's conceptual and methodological relevance for structural analysis of Korean traditional space design history. By Foucault's Theory, regionalism is product of the instrumentality of space, power, knowledge and provide the basis for making the operation of power both spatial and temporal. The purpose of this study is to establish topographical map of historical progress and to shed new light on the forming of identity in Korean traditional space design on the poststructural-archaeological aspect. The process of this study is illustrated as follows: At first, it suggests Foucault's 'Theory of archaeology'. It mentions 'historical apriori' and archive, collateral space and general grammar as theoretical background of archaeological logic. Secondly, it clarifies 'statements' depending on the conditions that is 'episteme' in which they emerge and exist within a field of discourse. And it discuss Korean traditional space design concept as a social product on the situated character of interaction in time-space. Finally, it studies genetic variation process of Korean traditional space design based on the social progress in Korean society. And it analyses practical actions of 'Statements' in terms of general grammar and textuality.

Korean space design image is a kind of writing as well as one of the sign that dissembles itself as a direct transcript of what it represents. Moreover it is pictorial representation and notions such as mental and perceptual imaginary. Significance of Iconology lies in how we transform image and the imagination that produces it into power of trust and respect. From this point of view, the process of this study is illustrated as follows: At first, this study search out concept of archetype, collective unconsciousness and collective representation that found principles on basic theory for interpretation of korean space icon. Secondly, it mentions theoretical background of iconological contents and structure. And it clarifies Iconology as a method that is applicable logic for Korean space design. Finally, as an analysis of korean space design, this study analyse in three steps that are pre-iconological description, iconological analysis, iconological interpretation each in terms of modernization at regional korean space design. In the step of the pre-iconological description, it describe visual representative style based on era and place. In the step of the iconological analysis, the typical structure is classified in status, vernacular, ethnic, traditional. In the step of the iconological interpretation, connotation is categorized into allegory, multivalence, potential. Through this process, this study suggest that iconology is an appropriate analysis system of Korean space design images that represent symbols combined with our collective emotion.

The purpose of this study is to advance apartment houses in quality as a residence through revitalization of tradition and the procedures are as follows: The first procedure is theoretical contemplation. The second procedure is analysis of the traditional residential space that gives a starting point of introspection of it without cease at the stage of formal following or pattern application in revitalizing tradition in the apartment houses. And the third procedure is to select and suggest aspects applicable to developing Korean style apartment houses. The suggest is embodied by a plane figure of 55 pyong type apartment house after selecting the concrete development aspects with approaches such as arrangement and interior space analysis, behavior analysis and space division and design analysis. This study has its meaning in that it suggests a possibility of various approaches other than formal following or pattern application in revitalizing tradition in a new Korean type apartment house, that it gives another selection to diversifying consumers' patterns and that it helps recognize and develop our tradition in this age of cultural nationalism.

Much evidence points to the fact that Korean traditional architecture has long reflected traditional Korean philosophy. If what this evidence points to Is true, there is much more insight to be gained about this connection. It is important to begin with the idea that Korean culture stemmed from Confucianism, Buddhism, and Taoism. All three share similar ideas, and this study will set out to prove that topology, an anti-Euclidean school of thought created at the end of the 19th century, shares many of the same core ideas as the three mentioned above. Transitively, if Korean traditional culture is reflected in Korean traditional architecture, and topology shares many of the same core ideas, it seems that topology should be accepted into the mainstream of architectural design. This study will aim to interpret space structure forms and space constructions of the Korean traditional architecture from the topological perspective.

Myths and architectural spaces are cultural products symbolizing ideologies and objects respectively. Myth has the structure and the contents of a unique view of the world that reflects thoughts and representations of the nationalities. This study is about 'the spaces of the memory' adapted by the mythic tradition among many aspects of the Japanese tradition. The process of this study is illustrated as follows: At first, it mentions the concept of Gilbert Durand's mythic imaginaries and prototype with the method on how the myth is applied to the architectural spaces in the cultural context. Secondly, It clarifies basic meaning arrangement of the Japanese traditional spaces related to the myth. It shows sourceful 'prototipical system' that lies in the relation between thoughts and representations, regarding the shinto's spaces in terms of mythical imaginaries and Japanness. Thirdly, it ascertains mythical structure represented in the traditional space designs on terms with 'prototype' from symbolic system of the myth. It selects the cases among Japanese contemporary architects's works designed after 1960's, and analyses the meanings. In conclusion, it clarifies that this way can be a suggestion as the space design method combining the human's imaginary property with the time-stratigraphic region, and offering creative ideas for the strategy of the space design brand image that embraces a wide range of culture, ecology, and sensibility.

Rikyu-Konomi and Enshu-Konomi accomplished the base of Japanese Dado as well as has set Japanese representative traditional culture. These are the products of the spiritual culture completed by the ideas of Sen Rikyu and Kobori Enshu, that are Wabi spirit and Kirei sabi spirit combined with the tea. This study is about the interpretation of Japanese traditional space designs related to Rikyu-Konomi and Enshu-Konomi as Japanese Traditional spiritual archetype. The process of this study is illustrated as follows: At first, it mentions the concept of Konomi as self-organizing system, and esthetic characteristics of Rikyu-Konomi and Enshu-Konomi. Secondly, it clarifies internal meanings and spacial characters of Konomi in the Japanese traditional space through the exploring Taian tea house as the example of Rikyu-Konomi, and Bosen tearoom and Katsurarikyu as the examples of Enshu-Konomi. Thirdly, it ascertains Rikyu-Konomi and Enshu-Konomi represented in the contemporary architectural spaces. It analyses the relation between modern traditional space designs and traditional archetypal vocabularies, and examines those spaces from an esthetic point of view for modern implication of Rikyu-Konomi and Enshu-Konomi. In conclusion, it clarifies the contemporary significance of Rikyu-Konomi and Enshu-Konomi in terms of japan traditional space design.
