Interface between Robot and Scanner for Remote Laser Welding System Based on Time Synchronization (시간 동기화에 근거한 리모트 레이저 용접 시스템에서의 로봇과 스캐너 인터페이싱)

  • Remote laser beam welding (RLW) has the benefits of high speed and high quality welding, especially as applied to automotive industry. RLW is designed in a way that end effecter and head of scanner move simultaneously, and require the compensation for the motion of end effecter in order to weld proper position. In this paper, we show the algorithms of RLW that enable the end effecter to synchronize with scanner based on time. The proposed method consists of two algorithms. These algorithms make it possible for the moving end effecter to weld on desired place. The effectiveness of the algorithms is shown by experiments.

The Wearing Conditions of Working Clothes According to the Working Environment and Working Processes at Industry Sites -With Reference to Machinery, Automobiles, and the Shipbuilding Industry- (산업현장의 작업환경 및 공정에 따른 작업복 착의실태 -기계.자동차.조선업을 중심으로-)

  • This study examines the wearing conditions of working clothes according to the working environment and working processes at machinery, automobile, shipbuilding industry sites. It also investigates the relationship between the wearing sense of working clothes and the overall comfort according to work processes. The hazardous working environment was high in the order of the shipbuilding industry, machinery, and automobiles. The findings on the harmful overall work environmental factors were the noise, heavy dust, and noxious fumes, respectively. In general, the satisfaction with the wearing performance of working clothes was low especially with regard to sweat absorbency, sweat permeability, body protection and covering, and the work motion suitability. In respect of the correlation between the overall comfort and the wearing sense of working clothes, the satisfaction was decreased in the order of movement comfort, sensual comfort, and physiological comfort.

Design and Application of Vision Box Based on Embedded System (Embedded System 기반 Vision Box 설계와 적용)

  • Vision system is an object recognition system analyzing image information captured through camera. Vision system can be applied to various fields, and automobile types recognition is one of them. There have been many research about algorithm of automobile types recognition. But have complex calculation processing. so they need long processing time. In this paper, we designed vision box based on embedded system. and suggested automobile types recognition system using the vision box. As a result of pretesting, this system achieves 100% rate of recognition at the optimal condition. But when condition is changed by lighting and angle, recognition is available but pattern score is lowered. Also, it is observed that the proposed system satisfy the criteria of processing time and recognition rate in industrial field.

  • 최근 휴대용 전자기기의 전원으로서 가장 널리 사용되고 있는 리튬 이차 전지는 우수한 에너지 밀도, 낮은 자가방전 속도로 인한 비 메모리 효과, 높은 작동전압으로 다양한 전자기기뿐만 아니라 미래형 자동차산업 및 항공산업 분야에서도 점차 사용 빈도가 증가하고 있다. 현재 리튬 이차 전지의 음극물질로 널리 사용되고 있는 흑연의 경우 초기 용량 감소가 크고 이론적인 최대용량(372 mAhg-1, LiC6)이 낮다는 문제가 있어 다양한 대체물질의 연구가 진행되고 있다. 그 중에서도 Si는 Li과 반응하여 Li4.4Si합금을 형성하며 높은 이론용량을 갖고 상용화된 전지의 전압(~3.7 V)보다 0.3 V정도 밖에 낮지 않기때문에 재료의 개발과 함께 바로 사용화 할 수 있다는 장점이 있다. 그러나 Si의 경우 금속 자체로 사용되는 경우 Li 이온이 삽입되어 Li4.4Si형성 시에 310%의 부피 팽창을 일으키게 되어 분쇄반응(pulverization)을 일으키고 충 방전에 따라 급격한 용량 감소를 야기한다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 RF 마그네트론 스퍼터링을 이용하여 보다 간단한 방법으로 Si층 사이에 수 나노의 Al층을 삽입하여 Si 입자의 부피 팽창으로부터 오는 응력을 상쇄시켜 높은 방전 용량 특성과 우수한 수명 특성을 동시에 구현하였다.

Association between Changed Working Conditions and Musculoskeletal Disorders among Automobile Assembly Workers (자동차 조립 작업에서의 노동 조건 변화와 근골격계질환과의 관련성)

  • Work-related musculoskeletal disorders (WMSDs) were a major source of disability and lost work time after 'Foreign Currency Crisis(1998-2000)' in Korea. There is considerable evidence documenting the association between psychosocial risk factors and work disability due to WMSDs. But, there is not much in Korea. The present study aimed to explore the predictive association between the changed working conditions and WMSDs after 'Foreign Currency Crisis' in Korea. A study sample of 8,670 automobile assembly workers were recruited for this study. A structured-questionnaire was used to assess general characteristics, working conditions, and information concerning medical treatment of WMSDs. After adjustment for sociodemographic factors, increased overtime work(OR=1.22), daily work time(OR=1.20), work speed (OR=1.32), number of workers(OR=0.83), supervisory control(OR=1.39), physical load(OR=1.39), and mental load (OR=1.25) were all founded to be significantly associated with WMSDs. This study has shown the importance of changed working conditions in the occurrence of WMSDs. Therefore, it will be necessary to reduce WMSDs with controlling both physical and psychosocial factors.

  • The flow forming has been used to produce long thin walled tube parts, with reduced forming force and enhanced mechanical and surface quality for a good finished part, compared with other method formed parts. So flow forming technique is used widely in industrial production. Especially spinning and flow forming techniques are used frequently in automotive, aerial, defense industry. In this paper, finite element method analysis of three-roller backward flow forming of a workpiece is carried out to study effects of forming depth and feed rate on forming force. The axial and radial forces on several forming depth and feed rate conditions are obtained.

  • We can take 'Profit security', in the field Process improvement activity and man-power upgrade in the learning of organization activity or upgrading ability of each peoples. After Tayler System(Scientific Management in1911) and Ford System(Conveyor system in 1913), Toyota System(Ohno's TPS; Toyota Production System around 1980) which was developed by Toyota in Japan in the third productive revolution. This thesis study on the focus of 2 successful examples(P and S companies in Seong-Seo industrial complex Tae-Gu city) which introduce Toyota system can apply to VM(Visual Management), 3jeong(Right Products Right Quantity, Right Box and Right Position)5S(Seiri, Seiton, Seisoh Seiketsu, Sitsuke), JIT(Just In Time), KAIZEN(Improvement), KANBAN System(Logistic) and output of Factory. For examples P company obtained a lot of results(productivity increase 19%, Quality up 46%-36ppm, storage decrease 25% per year), S company obtained a lot of results(productivity increase 20%, Quality up 40%, storage decrease 33% per year, 2600 improvements in 2002. In conclusion Korean KANBAN system (modified Toyota System) is similar to exchange of work as Korean traditional system in agriculture as like dure 'PUMASHI' SANGBU-SANJO) that's autonomous management systems. In conclusion Korea KANBAN system needs apply to not only all the manufacturing industry but also the various fields of industry.

백금 합금의 고온산화휘발특성

  • 내열성과 내부식성, 촉매능력등이 뛰어난 백금은 자동차 배출가스 정화촉매, 유/무기화학반응의 공정 촉매, 석유화학산업에서의 촉매 등 촉매 뿐만 아니라 용융유리용 도가니, 유리 섬유용 부싱 등의 유리산업, 백금 열전대 외에도 전기/전자기기, 치과용 합금, 장신구, 항공우주,등의 많은 분야에서 폭넓게 쓰인다. 한편 낮은 기계적 특성을 개선하기 위하여 로듐 등의 백금족 원소를 첨가한 합금을 제조하여 이용하고 있지만 로듐의 공금 부족과 이에 따른 가격 상승으로 인한 대체조성의 설계가 요구되고 있다. 또한 고온의 산화분위기에 노출이 되면 산화물이 형성되고 이것이 휘발하여 중량의 손실이 생긴다고 알려져 있다. 본 연구에서는 백금 합금의 이러한 문제점의 해결방안을 제시하고자 백금족 원소를 첨가하고 첨가 원소별 산화휘발의 정도를 측정하였다. 시편은 plasma arc melting법으로 각각 Pt, Pt-20%Rh, Pt-11%Ir, Pt-10%Rh-10%Ir의 조성을 가지는 합금을 만든 후 압연을 하여 판상으로 만들었고, 이를 각각 $1000^{\circ}C$, $1200^{\circ}C$, $1400^{\circ}C$ 등에서 각각 96시간 까지 산화휘발시켜 중량손실량을 측정하였고 이를 XPS를 이용한 표면분석을 하여 산화휘발거동을 규명하였다. 그 결과 Pt-20%Rh가 가장 우수한 고온산화휘발특성을 보였으며 상대적으로 고온산화휘발특성이 좋지 않은 Pt-Ir 2원계 합금에 Rh를 첨가한 Pt-10%Rh-10%Ir 3원계 합금을 만들어 약 60% 향상된 결과를 얻을 수 있었고 이 결과를 증기압 관점에서 고찰하였다.

  • 최근 강화된 국내외의 배출가스 규제 조건을 충족시키기 위해, 사용자의 요구대로 연료의 분사시기와 분사량을 조절할 수 있는 CRDI ECU 제어 알고리즘의 개발이 필요하다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 산업용 CRDI 엔진 전용 ECU에 적용할 수 있는 노킹 판별 및 엔진 밸런스 보정이 가능한 노킹 분석 시뮬레이터를 개발하였다. 개발한 노킹 분석 시뮬레이터의 결과를 OBD-II 표준을 사용하여 차량 위주의 진단기를 개발하여 운전자가 직접 차량을 진단할 수 있는 운전자 중심의 진단 서비스를 제공하고자 한다. 이를 위해 자동차 고장진단 신호 및 센서 출력 신호를 유선시스템과 무선 시스템인 블루투스 모듈을 이용하여 실시간 통신이 제공 될 수 있는 OBD-II 진단기 S/W 설계 방안을 제안함으로써 차량의 연비를 향상시키고, 유해 배출가스의 발생을 최소화하여 엔진 효율성의 개선 방안을 제시하고자 한다.

Effects of fiber survival rate on Mechanical properties in Light weight short fiber reinforced composites for Automobile Application (자동차 경량화를 위한 단섬유강화 복합재료에서의 섬유생존율이 기계적 물성에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구)

  • In this study, the survival rate of fiber is investigated by nozzle size difference in injection/mold sides. The survival rate of fiber is influenced about the nozzle size differ. Also, The mechanical properties of short carbon glass fiber reinforced polypropylene are experimentally measured as functions of fiber volume fraction and nozzle size difference. These mechanical properties are compared with the survival rate of fiber and fiber volume fraction using image analysis after pyrolytic decomposition. The survival rate of fiber as well as fiber volume fraction is influenced by injection processing condition, the used materials, mold conditions and nozzle sides difference, etc, In particular, the survival rate of fiber is great influenced when injection/mold nozzle sides are different more than that of the same. Consequently, the mechanical properties of short carbon/glass fiber reinforced polypropylene arc improved as the nozzle sides are the same in injection mold sides.
