FIRI연구동향 - 2차 한.미 옥수수 품질 평가 프로젝트

  • "2012년(2차) 한 미 옥수수 품질 평가 프로젝트"는 2012년 7월부터 2013년 1월까지 미국곡물협회(USGC), 북미곡물수출협회(NAEGA), 한국사료협회(KFA)와 미농무부 연방곡물검사소(USDA FGIS)간에 공동으로 수행되었다. 프로젝트의 성공적인 수행을 위해 국내외 10개 이상의 기관이 협력하였다. 본고에서는 보고서의 주요내용과 업무수행 과정을 요약 정리하였다.

  • 본고는 미 일 원자력 협력의 구체적 사례 연구를 통해 일본이 미국으로부터 원자력의 신뢰성, 투명성 확보를 위해 어떠한 노력을 해왔는가를 살펴봄으로서, 한 미 원자력 협력에의 반면교사를 도출하는 것을 목적으로 하고 있다. 특히 핵무기 비보유국으로서는 유일하게 대규모 상업적 재처리시설을 가동 중인 일본이 어떠한 과정과 방법을 통해 로카쇼무라 재처리시설의 가동을 이루어 냈는가를 고찰하였다. 아울러 1990년대 이후 미국의 핵비확산 정책에 어떻게 대응하여 왔으며, 일본의 국제적 원자력 투명성 제고를 위해 어떠한 노력을 하고 있는지를 대미 원자력협력을 통해 살펴본다. 한 미 원자력협정 개정을 준비해야 하는 우리의 입장에서 일본의 경험은 매우 귀중한 연구 자료가 된다. 물론 일본의 원자력이 기반하고 있는 상황과 조건이 우리의 그것과는 상이하다 하더라도, 일본의 대미 원자력 협력의 상세, 일본이 미 일 원자력 협력을 통해 이루어 낸 성과 등은 우리에게 소중한 반면교사가 될 것은 분명하다. 이러한 관점에서 본고는 일본의 경험이 우리에게 주는 시사점을 결론적으로 도출하고 있다.

Characteristics of colored rice bread using the extruded HeugJinJu rice (팽화흑진주미를 이용한 흑미빵의 품질특성)

  • The characteristics of colored rice bread using the extruded HeugJinJu rice were studied to establish the optimum formula for the formation of colored rice bread, giving good loaf volume and sensory quality. The expansion ratio and bulk density were decreased, the break strength was increased as the moisture content was increased at extrusion. The gelatinization of extruded HeugJinJu rice was appropriate at 20% of moisture content. The volume of colored rice bread was decreased as the quantity of adding extruded HeugJinJu rice was increased. The weight and hardness of colored rice bread were not significantly different among the groups. The result of measurement of color difference, L value (lightness) was decreased, a value (redness) was increased and b value (yellowness) was decreased as the quantity of adding extruded HeugJinJu rice was increased. As the results of sensory evaluation, color, taste, texture and overall acceptance of colored rice bread were higher than the control group. The best quality giving color, taste, texture, total preference were observed when the extruded HeugJinJu rice was added at l0%.

Diets of the Rock Trout, Agrammus agrammus, in the Shore Area of Tongbaeksom, Pusan (부산 동백점 연안에 서식하는 노래미 Agrammus agrammus의 먹이생물)

  • Diets of the rock trout, Agrammus agrammus, in the shore area of Tongbaeksom, Pusan over the period of July 1981 to June 1982 were studied. Specimens were sampled by angling. Stomach analysis showed that the rock trout fed mainly on epibenthic food in the littoral zone along the coast of Tongbaeksom. The food organisms of the enviornment were studied by means of underwater sampling around the angling area for this study. Although the food items of the fish changed slightly with season and age-group, main food items were Amphipoda (Gammaridae, Caprellidae) and Isopoda (Sphaeromidae, Idotheidae). This suggests that the diets of A. agrammus mainly comprised epibenthic food. Food diversity increased with age. The fish almost consummed on smaller food in size, but had selective predation according to food size, i. e. on larger food as age increases. These data provide additional support for the importance of the detritus-benthos-consummer type food chain.

  • Many contests by micro mouse was celebrated of which maze search algorithms performance are compared. That is used in various forms based on left(right) weight method, euclidean algorithm method, hill climbing method. However we feel uncomfortable to test algorithms performance through direct development of programs or hardwares as no software platform to test in maze search algorithms. In this research we develop of a platform for maze search algorithms that is easily to produce various forms of maze that are hard to be realized by hardware, to apply algorithms, and evaluate the seek time, operation count, steps and performance. The platform is consist of main layer, interface layer, user layer which has merit to apply and replace easily algorithms. We verified that the maze search algorithm can be applied even in the development and experiment of algorithm by evaluating and analyzing its performance through the experiment of platform.

Physicochemical Properties of Pigmented Rice (Suwon-415) (수원415호 유색미의 이화학적 특성)

  • Physicochemical properties and water uptake rate of pigmented rice were determined. The median and mean particle sizes of pigmented rice flour were 15.18 and $38.53\;{\mu}m$, whereas brown rice flour were 11.46 and $33.41\;{\mu}m$, respectively. Water-binding capacity, swelling power, and solubility of pigmented rice flour were higher than those of brown rice flour. X-ray diffraction patterns showed traditional A type of cereals. Moisture gain of pigmented rice kernels increased continuously up to 60 min at soaking temperature $(20{\sim}25^{\circ}C)$. Water uptake rate constants of pigmented rice during soaking at $20{\sim}25^{\circ}C$ also increased.

Preparation and Characterization of Liquors Prepared with Styela clava and Styela plicata (미더덕과 오만둥이를 이용한 술의 제조 및 특성)

  • Stycla claca (SC, miduduk in Korean) and Stycla plicata (SP, omangdungi in Korean) have been consumed as one of the most tasty seafoods in the southern coast of Korea. Liquors were prepared by soaking SC (whole, tunic, or flesh part) and SP (whole) in soju (alcohol content 30%) for 4 months, and then the characteristics were evaluated. Alcohol contents of the liquors decreased with increasing amounts of SC and SP. Antioxidant activities revealed by a radical scavenging activity showed that SC, especially flesh part, exhibited higher activity than SP in the liquors. Increasing the amount of SC and SP in liquors tended to decrease lightness and redness while increasing yellowness. In a sensory test, there was no significant difference between the liquors.

Reliability and Validity of the Korean Version of Broad Conceptualization of Beauty Scale (한글판 미의 광범위한 개념 척도(K-BCBS)의 신뢰도 및 타당도)

  • BCBS (Broad Conceptualization of Beauty Scale) is a measurement tool designed to evaluate the standards of an individual's inner beauty. In this study, reliability and feasibility were verified for 100 female college students using the final Korean version BCBS 9 questions that were formed through the adaptation process. As a result of checking the internal consistency to verify the reliability of Korean version BCBS, it showed high reliability with Cronbach's 𝜶 0.878, subjective beauty 0.874, physical beauty 0.808 and psychological beauty 0.880. As a result of exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis to verify feasibility of Korean version BCBS, feasibility was secured by showing significant results in all items. Therefore, through this study, the Korean version BCBS was proved to be a useful measurement tool that comprehensively evaluates the concept of women's broad scale beauty, and using this as basic data, it is believed that it can be used for professional development and research on internalized beauty for female college students.

A Study on the Establishment of Database for the Efficient Management of Unexecuted Urban Planning Facilities (미집행 도시계획시설의 효율적 관리를 위한 DB구축 방안에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to conduct an analysis for classification of unexecuted urban planning facilities using the Geographic Information System(GIS) to prepare measures for systematic and efficient management of unexecuted urban planning facilities and to find ways to establish national territory information for continuous management and operation by database of spatial data of classified unexecuted urban planning facilities. For this purpose, the present state of urban management plan, thematic map, cadastral map, satellite image of Korea Land Information System(KLIS) were collected from Miryang City, and qualitative analysis of the execution and non-execution of urban planning facilities was conducted by combining the layer of urban planning facilities, satellite images, and continuous cadastral layers of cadastral maps with classified and processed owner attribute information. According to the analysis, the unexecuted facilities were derived as unexecuted facilities, as most of the private land, without any current status roads or facilities created in satellite imagery. In addition, although the current status road was opened, the facilities that included some private land were derived as facilities that were recognized and executed by the local government as the de facto controlling entity through public transportation. The derived unexecuted urban planning facilities were divided into layers of shape data and the unexecuted property data were organized to quickly and accurately identify the status of non-executed and statistical information. In this study, we proposed an analysis plan that introduced GIS technology for scientific and rational analysis of unexecuted urban planning facilities and the establishment of reliable spatial data, and proposed a plan to establish a database for connection with existing systems and use of information.

New Records of the Limnephiloidea(Insecta: Trichoptera) from Korea (한국산 우묵날도래 상과 (곤충 강: 날도래 목)의 미기록종)

  • A historical review of Trichoptera systematics in Korea and diagnoses for 10 newly recorded species of Limnephiloidea are provided: two species, Gumaga orientalis (Martynov) and Ganonema extensum Martynov, are newly recorded from the Korean peninsula, seven species, Goera interrogationis Botosaneanu, G. parvula Martynov, Apatania sinensis Martynov, Ecclisomyia kamtshatica (Martynov), Hydatophylax magnus (Martynov), Goerodes albardanus (Ulmer), and Dinarthrum coreanum (Kumanski and Weaver), and newly recorded from South Korea, and the adult stage of Neophylax ussuriensis (Martynov) is newly recorded from South Korea.
