  • 탄소강 평활재 및 미소결함재를 사용하여, 미소 정류크랙의 크랙 개폐구거동의 상세한 관찰과 초기결함을 상정한 미소 원공과의 상호 한계크기의 비교 검토를 통하여, 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 평활재의 정규크랙은, 피로과정중에 압축잔류응역이 크랙선단의 개구를 억제하는 것에 의하여 정류하게 되고, 그 크기는 평활재의 피로한도를 저하시키지 않은 미소 원공의 한계크기와 거의 일치하여, 두 경우가 역학적으로 거의 등가함을 시사해 주고 있다.

  • 본 연구에서는 음향파의 입사각을 횡파임계각도 이상으로 하여 횡파를 발생시키고 이를 이용하여 종래방식보다 고체 내부에 존재하는 미소결함의 검출한계를 개선시키는 방법을 연구분석하였다. 실험을 위하여 중심주파수3MHz인 반사형 음향현미경 시스템을 구성하였고 서로 다른 깊이에 임의의 결함을 갖는 시료를 제작하였으며 defocus 깊이를 변화시키면서 실험하였다. 실험결과 고체내부 Rayleigh파장의 3배정도 깊이에 존재하는 1mm 크기의 결함을 검출할 수 있었다.

  • 본 실험에서는 최근 급 신장된 국내신문인쇄의 윤전지절에 관해 지절발생수준 및 원인에 관해 분석하였다. 국내 신문사의 윤전지절 발생수준은 구미수준이며, 자동계지 (Autopasting)시 지절이 많았다. 전체적으로 국내 신문인쇄정비기술 및 장력수준은 양호하나 전기적친 정비기술, 신문사란 통일된 관리기법이 요구된다. 종이물성측면에서 기존의 인장, 인열강도 등의 관리로는 미소의 상관성 또는 부분상관성으로 전체적인 지절예측에는 한계가 있으며, 인열강도를 현실성있게 표현한 Fracture Toughness(FT)가 상관관계가 있음을 보여주었다. 또한 마찰계수 역시 지절상관성이 기대되는 물성임을 알 수 있었다. 윤전지절은 인쇄기의 불안정과 종이결함이 복합된 결과로 인쇄기의 안정성유지와 종이의 결함을 최소화하는 것이 필요하다. FT와 마찰계수를 이용한 관리기법으로 지료조성 및 펄프의 개질, 초지공정에 응용하여 최적강도 포인트를 찾아야 할 것이다.

A Study on the Threshold Condition of Crack Propagation for Pre-Crack and Micro-Hole Specimens (프리크랙과 微小圓孔材의 크랙成長 下限界條件에 관한 硏究)

  • The Critical size of artificially induced micro-holes in 0.17%, 0.36% Carbon steel Specimens with Spheroidized Cementite and in 0.17% carbon steel specimens with martensite structure is compared with annealed pre-crack in order to discuss the physical meaning of the fatigue limit and evaluation of the tolerant micro flaw size at the stress level of the fatigue limit. Results obtained were summarized as follows; (1) In this study, non-propagating crack length of Smooth specimen and critical pre-crack length (lc) is coincide. (2) In the carbon steels with spheroidized cementite structure, critical pre-crack length (lc) and allowable micro-hole size (dc) is coincide each other at the fatigue limit level. (3) It has been published that there exists a particular size of micro-hole which has no effect on the fatigue limit. In this study, the micro-hole of critical size can be regarded as equivalent to a tolerant micro flaw which would not reduce the fatigue limit.

  • It needs to Prevent damage as aging shotcrete itself exists as a dangerous component to comuting vehicles or infrastructure due to scaling, spaling, and loosening. However, it is hard to make an approach owing to a steep slope and high work, and there has been indicated a limit that it is difficult to grasp the internal condition of shotcrete on the surface. This study aimed to research internal defects that cannot be observed from the surface, by measuring a subtle thermal transfer on the shotcrete surface by using infrared thermography for overcoming such a technical limit. As a result of conducting an inspection through an analysis on measured data and fieldwork using an endoscope camera, it was impossible to accurately determine the wet part because of an excessive coating of shotcrete, yet, This study is proposed effictively extract a void part of the inside with non-destructive and non-touching method.

  • This paper discusses the feasibility of ultrasonic C-scan technique for nondestructive evaluation of spot weld quality. Ultrasonic evaluation for spot weld quality was performed by immersion method with the mechanical and the electronic scanning of point-focussed ultrasonic beam(25 MHz). For the sake of the approach to the quantitative measurement of nugget diameter and the discrimination of the corona bond from nugget, preliminary infinitesimal gap experiment by newton ring is tried in order to set up the optimum ultrasonic test condition. Ultrasonic image data obtained were confirmed and compared by optical microscope and SAM(Scanning Acoustic Microscope) observation of the spot-weld cross section. The results show that the nugget diameter can be measured with the accuracy of 1.0mm, and voids included in nugget can be detected to $10{\mu}m$ extent with simplicity and accuracy. Finally, it was found that it is necessary to make a profound study of definite discrimination of corona bond from nugget and the approach of quantitative evaluation of nugget diameter by utilizing the various image processing techniques.
