An Importance Analysis of National Competency Standard for 4-year College Information Systems Development Curriculum (국가직무능력표준(NCS)의 4년제대학 정보시스템개발 교육과정을 위한 중요도분석연구)

  • The Purpose of this Study is to Identify the Learning Modules of the National Competency Standard (NCS) Related to the Information Systems Development Curriculum of 4-year Colleges, to Explore the Possibility of Applying NCS to the Curriculum, and to Examine Implications. The Importance of 26 Competency Units in the Applied SW Engineering of NCS was Compared by Area Experts Composed of 14 Information Systems Developers and Professors of 7 Universities who Teach Software Engineering Subjects Through the Hierarchical Analysis Process (AHP). The Results of the Study as Follows. First, the Relative Importance of the Competency Elements was in order of 'Confirming the Requirements', 'Checking the UI Requirements', 'Designing the Physical Data Repository', 'Testing Developer Integration', and 'Fixing Developer Defects'. Second, while the Entry and Intermediate Level Developer Group Determined that the Competency Elements Related to the IS Development Implementation Stage is more Important, the Advanced IS Developer Groups Consider the Competency Elements Related to the Theory-oriented Design Stage as Important Competency. In Addition, the Group of College Professors was Found to Choose all the Practical and Theoretical Competency Elements that Two Developers Groups Considered Important. Implications of the Study Suggested that the Job Performance Competence and Quality of Education Related to IS Development can be Enhanced.

Human-Computer Interface using sEMG according to the Number of Electrodes (전극 개수에 따른 근전도 기반 휴먼-컴퓨터 인터페이스의 정확도에 대한 연구)

  • NUI (Natural User Interface) system interprets the user's natural movement or the signals from human body to the machine. sEMG (surface electromyogram) can be observed when there is any effort in muscle even without actual movement, which is impossible with camera and accelerometer based NUI system. In sEMG based movement recognition system, the minimal number of electrodes is preferred to minimize the inconvenience. We analyzed the decrease in recognition accuracy as decreasing the number of electrodes. For the four kinds of movement intention without movement, extension (up), flexion (down), abduction (right), and adduction (left), the multilayer perceptron classifier was used with the features of RMS (Root Mean Square) from sEMG. The classification accuracy was 91.9% in four channels, 87.0% in three channels, and 78.9% in two channels. To increase the accuracy in two channels of sEMG, RMSs from previous time epoch (50-200 ms) were used in addition. With the RMSs from 150 ms, the accuracy was increased from 78.9% to 83.6%. The decrease in accuracy with minimal number of electrodes could be compensated partly by utilizing more features in previous RMSs.

A Study on Evaluation of the Reading Culture Promotion Project and Develpment Direction of Smart Era at the National Library for Children and Young Adults (국립어린이청소년도서관의 독서문화진흥사업 평가와 스마트 시대 발전방향에 대한 연구)

  • This study closely analyzed changes in the educational environment and changes in the needs of children's and young people's reading culture programs, which are directly beneficiaries of the promotion of reading culture as they enter the fourth industrial revolution. It also comprehensively evaluated the reading culture promotion project for children and adolescents promoted by the National Children and Youth Library and proposed a reading culture promotion project that meets the needs of the smart era. This study investigated the cases of various domestic and foreign reading culture promotion projects to divulge trends. The authors invited experts from public libraries and school libraries with experience of the reading culture promotion projects and performed Focus Group Interviews (FGI). The authors evaluated individual reading culture program based on the PDCA method (Plan, Do, Check, Act). Based on the data obtained through case studies and expert evaluations, the development plan of reading culture promotion project and the strategy of promoting new projects to be pursued in the National Children and Youth Library were presented. By gathering the results of the research, 'Interactive e-book making platform production / distribution business', 'Game-type reading program production / distribution business', 'Habruta reading culture dissemination project using backward learning method', 'Youth coding branding "Teen-Start -Up"' were proposed as new services.

Implementation of Multiple Nonlinearities Control for Stable Walking of a Humanoid Robot (휴머노이드 로봇의 안정적 보행을 위한 다중 비선형 제어기 구현)

  • This paper is concerned with the control of multiple nonlinearities included in a humanoid robot system. A humanoid robot has some problems such as the structural instability, which leads to consider the control of multiple nonlinearities caused by driver parts as well as gear reducer. Saturation and backlash are typical examples of nonlinearities in the system. The conventional algorithms of backlash control were fuzzy algorithm, disturbance observer and neural network, etc. However, it is not easy to control the system by employing only single algorithm since the system usually includes multiple nonlinearities. In this paper, a switching Pill is considered for a control of saturation and a dual feedback algorithm is proposed for a backlash control. To implement the above algorithms, the system identification is firstly performed for the minimization of the difference between the results of simulation and experiment, and then the switching Pill gains are determined using genetic algorithm with some heuristic approach. The performance of the switching Pill controller for saturation and the dual feedback for backlash control is investigated through the simulation. Finally, it is shown that the implemented control system has good results and can be applied to the real humanoid robot system ISHURO.

A Design of Time-based Anomaly Intrusion Detection Model (시간 기반의 비정상 행위 침입탐지 모델 설계)

  • In the method to analyze the relationship in the system call orders, the normal system call orders are divided into a certain size of system call orders to generates gene and use them as the detectors. In the method to consider the system call parameters, the mean and standard deviation of the parameter lengths are used as the detectors. The attack of which system call order is normal but the parameter values are changed, such as the format string attack, cannot be detected by the method that considers only the system call orders, whereas the model that considers only the system call parameters has the drawback of high positive defect rate because of the information obtained from the interval where the attack has not been initiated, since the parameters are considered individually. To solve these problems, it is necessary to develop a more efficient learning and detecting method that groups the continuous system call orders and parameters as the approach that considers various characteristics of system call related to attacking simultaneously. In this article, we detected the anomaly of the system call orders and parameters by applying the temporal concept to the system call orders and parameters in order to improve the rate of positive defect, that is, the misjudgment of anomaly as normality. The result of the experiment where the DARPA data set was employed showed that the proposed method improved the positive defect rate by 13% in the system call order model where time was considered in comparison with that of the model where time was not considered.

CNN-Based Hand Gesture Recognition for Wearable Applications (웨어러블 응용을 위한 CNN 기반 손 제스처 인식)

  • Hand gestures are attracting attention as a NUI (Natural User Interface) of wearable devices such as smart glasses. Recently, to support efficient media consumption in IoT (Internet of Things) and wearable environments, the standardization of IoMT (Internet of Media Things) is in the progress in MPEG. In IoMT, it is assumed that hand gesture detection and recognition are performed on a separate device, and thus provides an interoperable interface between these modules. Meanwhile, deep learning based hand gesture recognition techniques have been recently actively studied to improve the recognition performance. In this paper, we propose a method of hand gesture recognition based on CNN (Convolutional Neural Network) for various applications such as media consumption in wearable devices which is one of the use cases of IoMT. The proposed method detects hand contour from stereo images acquisitioned by smart glasses using depth information and color information, constructs data sets to learn CNN, and then recognizes gestures from input hand contour images. Experimental results show that the proposed method achieves the average 95% hand gesture recognition rate.

  • 최근 수출오이의 재배 면적이 계속증가 추세에 있어 '99년 현재 143ha에 달하고 있다. 그러나 수출오이는 국내 오이와 재배방법이 상당히 달라 국내 오이는 주지착과형이지만 수출오이는 측지착과형으로 측지의 발생여부에 따라 수확량의 차이가 심하다. 따라서 수출오이의 성공여부는 측지발생을 어느정도 시키느냐에 달려 있다고 해도 과언이 아니다. 그런데 수출오이의 재배시기는 우리나라에서 재배환경이 가장 불량한 겨울철(10-2월)로, 저온 및 투광량 부족 등으로 인하여 측지발생율이 매우 저조하다. 따라서 본 시험은 수출오이의 측지 발생율을 높이고자 지중가온기 설치 여부에 따른 효과를 구명하고자 실시하였다. 그 결과, 생육(Table 1)은 접수의 줄기 직경이 지중가온 처리시 10.22mm로, 무가온의 8.64mm보다 굵었고, 엽장과 엽폭에 있어서도 지중가온 처리가 무가온 처리보다 좋았다. 곡과 발생수에 있어서도 지중가온 처리는 주당 0.73개가 발생하였으나, 무가온은 1.26개가 발생되어 지중가온 처리시 무가온에 비해서 생육이 좋아지고, 곡과 발생이 적었다. 주당 측지발생수(Table 2)는 지중가온구가 13.7개였고, 무가온구는 11.7개로 지중가온을 하면 측지발생수가 증가함을 알수 있었다. 또한 상품수확과수에 있어서도 지중가온구는 주당 45개인데 반해 지중무가온구는 38개였으며 따라서 전체적인 수량이 10a당 8,100kg으로, 무가온구의 6,840kg보다 18%의 증수효과가 있었다. 따라서 수출오이재배시 지중가온을 하면, 측지발생수가 증가하고 특히 장측지(Fig. 1)가 다수 발생하여 측지 수확과수가 증가하며, 곡과 등 기형과 발생이 감소하여 상품수량이 증가되므로써 기존 지중 무가온 재배에 비해 14% 소득향상 효과를 기대할 수 있다.시 생장이 둔화되었다. 밀폐시킨 삼각플라스크에서 자라는 Cell은 상태도 좋지 않고 전반적인 증식량도 적었다. Cell은 환기정도에 민감한 것으로 판단되며 삼각플라스크에서 약 35일 정도의 생장 주기를 가지는 것으로 사료된다. 배양 3주까지는 플라스틱 뚜껑으로 밀폐시킨 bottle에서 가장 많은 체세포배를 얻었다.   • Industrial robots have been usually controlled using text-based programming languages provided by each manufacturer with its button-based TP(Teaching Pendent) terminal. Unfortunately, when we consider that people who manipulate TPs in manufacturing sites are mostly unskilled with no background knowledge about computer programming, these text-based programming languages using button-based interaction on manufacturing sites are too difficult for them to learn and use. In order to overcome the weaknesses of the text-based programming language, we propose a visual programming language that can be easily used on gesture-enabled devices. Especially, in our visual programming environment, each command is represented as a block and robots are controlled by stacking those blocks using drag-and-drop gestures, which is easily learnable even by beginners. In this paper, we utilize a widely-spread device, Tablet PC as the gesture-enabled TP. Considering that Tablet PC has limited display space in contrast to PC environments, we designed different kinds of sets of command blocks and conducted user tests. Based on the experiment results, we propose an effective set of command blocks for Tablet PC environment.

Modeling Nutrient Uptake of Cucumber Plant Based on EC and Nutrient Solution Uptake in Closed Perlite Culture (순환식 펄라이트재배에서 EC와 양액흡수량을 이용한 오이 양분흡수 모델링)

  • 순환식 펄라이트재배에서 배액 재사용을 위한 양분흡수 모델링을 작성하고자 EC 처리(1.5, 1.8, 2.1, 2.4, 2.7 dSㆍm-1)를 수행하였다. 생육 중기까지 EC 수준에 따른 양액흡수량은 차이가 없었지만 중기 이후 EC가 높을수록 흡수량이 감소되는 경항을 보였다(Fig. 1). NO$_3$-N, P 및 K의 흡수량은 생육기간 동안 처리간 차이를 유지하였는데 N과 K는 생육 중기 이후 일정 수준을 유지하였으나 P는 생육기간 동안 다소 증가되는 경향을 보였다. S의 흡수량은 생육 중기 이후 모든 처리에서 급격한 감소를 보였으며 생육 후기에는 처리간에 차이가 없었다(Fig. 2). 오이의 무기이온 흡수율에서와 같이 흡수량에서도 EC간 차이를 보여 EC를 무기이온 흡수량을 추정하는 요소로 이용할 수 있을 것으로 생각되었다. 무기이온 흡수량은 모든 EC 처리간에 생육 초기에는 차이를 보이지 않았으나 생육중기 이후에는 뚜렷한 차이를 보인 후 생육 후기의 높은 농도에서 그 차이가 다소 감소되는 경향을 보였다. 단위일사량에 따른 양액흡수량과 EC를 주된 변수로 한 오이의 이온 흡수량 예측 회귀식을 작성하였는데 모든 무기이온 흡수량 추정식의 상관계수는 S를 제외한 모든 이온에서 높게 나타났는데 특히 N, P, K 및 Ca에서 높았다. S이온에서의 상관계수는 0.47로 낮게 나타났으나 각 이온들의 회귀식에 대한 상관계수는 모두 1% 수준에서 유의성을 보여 위의 모델식을 순환식 양액재배에서 무기이온 추정식으로 사용이 가능할 것으로 생각되었다(Table 1). 이를 이용한 실측치와의 비교는 신뢰구간 1%내에서 높은 정의상관을 보여 실제적인 적용이 가능할 것으로 생각되었다(Fig 3)..ble 3D)를 바탕으로 MPEG-4 시스템의 특징들을 수용하여 구성되고 BIFS와 일대일로 대응된다. 반면에 XMT-0는 멀티미디어 문서를 웹문서로 표현하는 SMIL 2.0 을 그 기반으로 하였기에 MPEG-4 시스템의 특징보다는 컨텐츠를 저작하는 제작자의 초점에 맞추어 개발된 형태이다. Protein Interaction Possibility Ranking Method based on Domain Combination (도메인 조합 기반 단백질 상호작용 가능성 순위 부여 기법)

  • With the accumulation of protein and its related data on the Internet, many domain based computational techniques to predict protein interactions have been developed. However, most of the techniques still have many limitations to be used in real fields. They usually suffer from a low accuracy problem in prediction and do not provide any interaction possibility ranking method for multiple protein pairs. In this paper, we reevaluate a domain combination based protein interaction prediction method and develop an interaction possibility ranking method for multiple protein pairs. Probability equations are devised and proposed in the framework of domain combination based protein interaction prediction method. Using the ranking method, one can discern which protein pair is more probable to interact with each other than other protein pairs in multiple protein pairs. In the validation of the ranking method, we revealed that there exist some correlations between the interacting probability and the precision of the prediction in case of the protein pair group having the matching PIP(Primary Interaction Probability) values in the interacting or non interacting PIP distributions.
