본 연구는 동아시아 담론을 연구방법론으로 하여 최인호의 "상도"을 연구한 것이다. 요약하자면, 인간의 욕망을 극대화한 근대적 삶은 개인에게는 소외된 삶을 가져왔고, 국가 간에는 냉전이데올로기에 따른 여러 분쟁을 낳았다. 최인호의 "상도"에 나타난 도가사상은 이러한 난제들을 해결하는 데 도움이 될 것이다.

This study considered the transition of changes in social status of the film through the discourse analysis of printed media, having been published since 6th revised film policy in 1987. For the purpose, Pierre Bourdieu's cultural sociology, or 'Field theory approach' was engaged as a theoretical background. On the basis of that theory, changes in social status was divided into expert and popular field. From 1988 to 2007, doctor's and master's theses on filmologie and the representative academic journal, "Film Studies" were examined with regard to area of expertise, and movie-related books with regard to popular one. This study demonstrated that the symbolic capital had inhered in the cinematic field along with specialization and diversification of analytic aspects, and the relation between the academic approach and political consideration had performed an important role in intellectualization of film.

Development of 5th generation mobile telecommunication technology is visualizing ideal hyper-connected social information and communication technology (ICT). In particular, virtual reality (VR) technology is at the starting point for new expansion and leaps. This work defines virtual reality as media in this context and collects and analyzes discourse on its scalability around space and communication theory. We first elaborated the concept, starting with the early discussions of the virtual reality concept in 1990, and discussed the relationship between the physical world and digital information, expression and interaction immersion as a medium, simulation, art creation theory, and finally evolutionary development. In conclusion, beyond the discourse on the technology of virtual reality, academic subjects were required to have theoretical frameworks on cognitive science, neuroscience, social science, and humanities issues (ethics, personality, etc.) for the development and evolution of virtual reality. In other words, it is time for the evolution of virtual reality to be discussed, which can be moved beyond.

We have long kept our Cartesian tradition in which Mind privileges over Body; the invention of printing technology has accelerated the tradition in which the intelligence and legibility of media were considered as a higher human value. However, the development of media and technology are supporting the multisensory mechanisms of the body as it was in preliterate era when we communicated with our whole bodily experiences. The development and spread of mass-media and new technologies have broaden the boundary of human sensory that are largely dominated by visual information and expanded it to auditory, olfactory and even gustatory sensation. Since 1960's, some philosophers and artists have recognized the human body as a subjective matter, starting the movement in which the body plays a role as an essential factor in study of human perception and cognition, aesthetics in art, and sociology, and the changed perspectives are practiced vigorously in the field of new media art; the theory of Maurice Merleau-Ponty who clarified the body as a general means for the body's possession of world, so that recognize the importance of cognition of one's body and approved the embodiment could be applied and practiced here. Therefore, we discuss how Merleau-Ponty's philosophical theory can be practiced and how McLuhan's perspective could be applied on the notion of body's extension in media by analysing some new media art cases.

The study aims to analyze the notion of web navigation in library and information science (LIS) by investigating the concepts and its consequences. The analysis is based on 32 articles published in international LIS journals between 1995 and 2012. The study noted the changing contexts of information retrieval in the Web environment, and discusses the changes over time in the way in which the notion of navigation have been regarded. Three main concepts are identified: navigation behavior, navigation strategies, and navigation designs.

한국의 사이버 위협에 대한 대응은 북한이라는 변수 때문에 안보적 접근 강화가 불가피한 측면이 있다. 그러나 과잉 안보화는 개인과 사회 차원의 안보를 약화시킬 수도 있다. 이 글은 안보적 시각에 경도된 사이버안보 담론에 대한 문제를 제기하고 개인과 사회, 국가가 직면하게 되는 다양한 사이버위협에 대한 포괄적 대응의 필요성을 제기하고 있다.

본 논문은 공개경쟁 프로그램이 확산되고 있는 추세에서 프로그램의 특성과 진정성에 대한 사회문화적 현상을 고찰하는데 목적으로 두고 있다. 케이블 채널에서 시작되었던 공개경쟁 프로그램을 시발점으로 현재 지상파 방송에서도 다양한 장르에 접목되어 활성화되고 있는 현상을 살펴볼 수 있다. 우리 사회에서 만연하고 있는 경쟁구도 속에서 펼쳐지는 시대적 상황은 무분별한 경쟁 구도로 제작되고 있는 상황이다. 또한 공개경쟁을 통해서 탄생된 스타의 모습은 시청자에게 열광의 대상이기도 하지만 새로운 신화적 담론을 형성하는 대상이기도 하다.
