This study purposed to analyze problems in utilizing hardware and software invested for elementary and secondary school that were distributed through the education information project so far, and to make plans for substantial operation. In order to identify relevant problems and to draw up plans for substantial operation, this study analyzed relevant previous researches and investigated the current state of the utilization of educational information resources in school through question investigation. In addition, we visited elementary, secondary schools, and governmental departments of relevant personnel and had interviews with the people there. From this, we suggested the substance proposals of the educational information resources operation for elementary and secondary school. Therefore, the substance proposal to the information resource in education that was produced by this study would be useful to establish and execute relevant policy for elementary and secondary schools and governmental departments.

Making use of mobile in the education field with international providing of iPod, iPhone and the rapid growth of information oriented society suggest lots of ideas in the aspect of method of education. Using the various technology of iPod and iPhone leads to change of teaching method because iPod and iPhone supports lots of skills of teaching which is student-centered is gradually supplying to students. Furthermore, Not only the development of various mobile contents can be materialized in iPod circumstance is processing in information-communication field of Korea, but also a recognition of people about iPod and iPhone is changing positively. Along this change, it expects to using of iPod and iPhone for teaching methods in school will affect to the education effectively and promote the quality of education. So, this study was focused on the development application for using iPod and iPhone in each subjects of Society and Science according to this features of changes with expecting the educational effect accompanied by using iPod and iPhone and searched the previous examples of using mobile application.

Teachers should actively maintain and improve their ICT competency in today's ever changing information society. A standardized system should now be developed to assist educators when choosing courses to improve their ICT competency. Previous ICT competency studies have only measured one's current ICT abilities rather than analyzing the skills necessary for educators to be successful in the educational system. This study developed an assessment tool to measure the ICT competency levels of CEOs who have the potential to be the decision makers in ICT education. In order to accomplish this, the jobs, duties, and tasks of educational CEOs were analyzed against the ICT Skills Standards for Teachers to determine which ICT skills are required by educational CEOs. Sixty-three questions were extracted from this analysis, guiding educational CEOs in the determination of their own ICT skills level.

Digital divide comes to appear as a new factor of causing social inequality with the entry of information society. Especially, the digital divide in student class makes a worry about education inequality as the education using ICT, e-learning, and u-learning are enlarged. So, the concern about the status of digital divide in school is increasing. In this study, we conducted a questionnaire survey of students and teachers in elementary and secondary schools located in Gyeongnam, and measured informatization level with the weighted average of three subindices : accessing index, capability index, and utilization index. According to the survey, the index on information processing capability showed the largest gap in both the student group and the teacher group. We also had the result of positive correlation between the capability index and the utilization index. These results show that the gap of information processing capability is an important factor for understanding the digital divide.

With the low birth rate and the inner city decline, the number of small schools is expected to increase. In this trend, the Ministry of Education has consistently used the number of students as a standard for the merger and abolition of schools since 1982, but it seems that has generated a vicious circle of education in rural areas and also it did not reflect realistic requirements and changes in the times although it is efficiency of local education finances. With the number of students constantly decreasing, it has a high probability to make villages without schools in urban areas if decisions are made by the number of students. In this sense, it is suggested that regional contexts and socioeconomic environment should be taken into account rather than to conduct the merger and abolition of small schools with economic logic. It is necessary to change the direction of improving the quality of education through the operation of small schools for coexistence of schools and villages and a cultivating the manpower needed in the 21st century knowledge information society and the 4th industrial revolution era. Therefore, we tried to find tasks for expanding small schools of the local community and developing small schools suitable for future social change.

The purpose of this study is to develop the category, intelligent element technologies and detail items for application of intelligent school. The result of this study will be a basic data to improve the intelligent school. For this purpose, analyze domestic and foreign intelligent system and through interview, survey with professional group, developed item was evaluated and for verifying and reappraising the items the researcher visited and interviewed teachers of three elementary schools. Developed intelligent items were composed of twelve basic technologies and fifty-four detail technologies.

하드웨어와 정보통신기술의 급속한 발달에 힘입어 교수-학습환경은 점차로 멀티미디어화 되어가고 있으며, 시간과 공간을 초월하여 언제, 어디서나, 누구에게나 교수-학습 자료를 제공할 수 있는 방향으로 변화되어가고 있다. 교육용 소프트웨어는 이러한 변화 가운데 교육방법상의 획일성과 전근대성을 해결해 줄 대안으로 인식되면서 많은 관심 속에 개발되어왔다. 1997년 교육정보화계획 이후 정부에서는 정책적으로 소프트웨어 구입비를 학교에 지원하고, 매년 교육용 소프트웨어 개발을 확대하여 보급하고 있다. 하지만 개발되고 보급되는 교육용 소프트웨어의 양에 비해 활용되는 정도는 부족하다. 교육용 소프트웨어의 활용 실태 및 교사들이 수업에서 교육용 소프트웨어를 어떻게 활용하고 있는지 파악하여 많은 예산을 들여 보급한 교육용 소프트웨어가 사장되지 않고 교육 헌장에 올바르게 활용될 수 있게 하는 것이 중요하다. 이러한 측면에서 초등학교 교사들의 수업활동과 가장 밀접히 관련되어 있는 교육용 소프트웨어의 활용에 관련된 일반적인 실태와 수업에서 교육용 소프트웨어를 활용하는데 있어 교사들의 인식 및 그 문제점을 규명, 개선 방안을 모색하고자 한다.

정보화된 미래사회를 준비하기 위하여, 우리나라에서는 실과의 한 영역과 학교재량시간을 통하여 컴퓨터 교육을 하고 있다. 그러나 실과 교육과정은 지나치게 기능 위주의 내용으로 되어있고, 학교 재량시간을 이용한 컴퓨터 교육에서는 타자연습이나 컴퓨터 활용교육만을 강조하고 있다. 이러한 교육은 컴퓨터와 친숙해지는 데는 도움을 줄 수 있지만, 고차원적인 사고력을 지닌 학생을 교육하는 데는 도움이 되지 못한다. 특별히 컴퓨터의 무한한 사용 가능성을 이용하여 창의적 문제 해결력을 기르는 교육은 매우 필요하다 하겠다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위하여 문제 해결 능력 교육, 즉 문제 상황이 주어지고 이것을 해결하는 프로그래밍 교육이 매우 유용하나, 지금까지의 프로그래밍 교육은 지나치게 언어 기술교육에 초점을 두고, 단순 반복과 암기, 아동의 발달단계를 고려하지 않음으로 인해 오히려 창의성을 해치고 학습의 흥미도를 저하시켜왔다. 이에 본 연구에서는 학생들 수준에 맞춰 구체적인 결과물이 보이고, 쉽고 흥미롭게 학습할 수 있는 프로그래밍 교육과정을 개발하기 위해 'LED 소자를 이용한 프로그래밍 교육 방안'을 설계하였다. 본 연구를 통하여서 초등학교 학생들이 쉽고 재미있게 프로그래밍에 접근하고, 고차원적인 문제 해결력을 기르는 컴퓨터 교육과정의 한 모델을 제시하였다.

21세기의 세계화, 정보화 시대를 주도할 자율적이고 창의적인 한국인을 육성하기 위하여 제7차 교육과정은 자율과 창의에 바탕을 둔 학생 중심의 교육과정을 표방하고 자기 주도적 학습 능력의 신장에 역점을 두고있다. 이에 따라 자기 주도적 학습 능력신장을 위한 수학과 교수 학습 자료들이 제작되어 보급 활용되고 있으나 구체적 조작기 아동의 특성에 맞는 초등학교 저학년 수학교과의 자기 주도적 학습 능력 신장을 위한 효과적인 프로그램은 부족한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구는 선행 연구 사례들을 분식하여 나타난 단점들을 수정, 보완하고, 초등학교 '확률과 통계'영역 중 3학년 나 단계의 '자료 정리하기' 단원을 재구성하였다. 그리고 이를 웹기반 학습 프로그램으로 개발하여 현장에 적용해 봄으로써 그 효과를 검증하고자 한다.

DES is a very simple crytosystem that uses only permutation in mathematics. Recently AES is standardized based on DES. In this paper we introduce DES and its implementation. In particular, we tried to process Hangul in DES. This paper may be used in school mathematics education.
