  • 본 논문에서는 SparkHDE-EM이라는 생태학적 모델 알고리즘에 기반한 하이브리드 DE를 제안한다. 그리고 Spark 기반 아일랜드 모델을 도입하여 다양한 DE 변종의 병렬화를 구현한다. 또한 Monod 모델을 활용하여 자원 간의 균형을 유지하는 방법을 제안한다.

  • In this paper, we propose a hybrid DE based on an ecological model algorithm called SparkHDE-EM. This model implements the parallelization of various DE variants by introducing an island model based on Spark, and utilizes the Monod model to maintain a balance between resources.

DeNOx Characteristics of Hybrid SNCR-SCR Process in a Pilot Scale Flow Reactor (파일럿 규모 반응기에서 Hybrid SNCR-SCR 공정의 질소산화물 저감 특성)

  • DeNOx characteristics of hybrid SNCR-SCR process have been investigated in a pilot scale flow reactor. DeNOx efficiency of SNCR reaction was about 80% at $970^{\circ}C$ and hybrid SNCR-SCR process showed 92% at $940^{\circ}C$ with NSR = 2.0. Compared to SNCR process alone, hybrid SNCR-SCR process was more effective at cool side, which is lower than $940{^{\circ}C}$. It should be also noted that ammonia slip from hybrid SNCR-SCR process was below 1ppm at the condition of higher space velocity and the required catalyst volume can be decreased to 2/3 of SCR process. Key factors for DeNOx efficiency of hybrid SNCR-SCR process were found to be $NH_3$ concentration and NOx selectivity of urea injected in SNCR process.

  • A 70-year old male with dilated cardiomyopathy was admitted to our hospital because of a renal stone, and a supra-renal abdominal aortic aneurysm was detected during work-up. We performed a hybrid surgery using an endovascular stent because of his co-morbidities. The operation consisted of removal of the renal stone, de-branching of the visceral artery and both renal arteries from the abdominal aorta, reperfusion of the de-branched arteries with retrograde bypass surgery using two Y-graft from the left external iliac artery, and deployment of stent graft in the abdominal aorta. Therefore, we report a case of hybrid surgery for supra-renal abdominal aortic aneurysm.

  • In this paper, we propose a new de-noising algorithm for 2 dimensional image using discrete wavelet transform. The proposed algorithm consists of edge detection in spatial domain, zero-tree estimation, subband estimation, and shrinkage algorithm. The results from it shows that the denoised image which Is damaged by 20% gaussian noise has 28dB quality for the original one.

An Analysis and Reduction Design of Combustion Instability Generated in Hybrid Rocket Motor (하이브리드 로켓 모터의 연소불안정 분석 및 저감 설계)

  • In this paper, the mechanism of the combustion instability which may occur in a hybrid rocket motor with a diaphragm was studied. And the new design for a hybrid motor grain was suggested. It could increase a regression rate of solid fuel, and reduce a large pressure oscillation in a hybrid rocket motor with a diaphragm. It was confirmed that the main mechanism of a large pressure oscillation was hole-tone, and it was caused by a collision between a diaphragm and a vortex which was generated in a pre-chamber. And 'Stepped Grain' design which had the mechanism for high regression rate in a motor with a diaphragm and could reduce a combustion instability was suggested.

  • In recent, there are tremendous requirements to improve the fuel economy of vehicle. For satisfaction of requirements, Hybrid Electric Vehicle or other technologies are suggested and implemented. However, it should be noted that almost 35% energy loss is occurred in the shape of exhaust gas as ever. For increase the efficiency of vehicle, it is certain that the exhaust gas energy should be recover, and generate energy. In previous studies, the technologies such as turbo-compound, thermoelectric and rankine cycle are suggested to recover the exhaust heat energy in vehicle. But, they focus on the conventional vehicle or parallel Hybrid Electric Vehicle. Series Hybrid Electric Vehicle has advantage that the engine and drive shaft are de-coupled. It means that the engine can be operated in high efficiency area regardless with vehicle states. Therefore, if rankine cycle is applied to series hybrid electric vehicle, operating condition of that becomes almost steady. So, in this study, theoretical analysis on the efficiency of rankine cycle applied to series hybrid electric city bus is carried and the energy recovered from exhaust gas during vehicle drive cycle is calculated.

  • The importance of the more efficient cogeneration system is emphasized. Also the more clean energy is needed at recent energy system. The cogeneration system using Lean burn engine is more preferred to the system using Rich burn engine because of the electrical efficiency. Although the cogeneration system using Lean burn engine is economically preferred, because of the NOx emission level, the system using Rich burn engine with 3-way catalyst can only be used in Korea. The NOx regulation level is 50ppm at oxygen level 13%. The cogeneration hybrid system is consist of Lean burn gas engine, afterburner, boiler, economizer, DeNOx catalyst, combustion catalyst, absorption chiller, cooling tower and grid connection system. The system was accurately evaluated and the result is following ; 90% total efficiency, below 10ppm NOx, 50ppm CO, 25ppm UHC. The cogeneration hybrid system can meet the NOx level and exhaust gas regulation. It can achieve the clean combustion gas and efficient cogeneration system.

Properties of Perovskite Materials and Devices Fabricated Using the Solvent Engineered One-Step Spin Coating Method (단일 스텝 스핀 코팅 방법에서 증발 제어 공정 변경에 따른 페로브스카이트 박막 물성 및 태양 전지 소자 특성 변화에 관한 연구)

  • The one-step spin coating method is reported as an excellent thin film process because it can be easily used to fabricate high-quality methyl-ammonium lead tri-iodide ($MAPbI_3$) perovskite layers. One of the important things in the one-step spin coating method towards obtaining high-quality $MAPbI_3$ layers is the anti-solvent (AS) engineering, which consists of an one-step deposition of the $MAPbI_3$ film and dripping of the AS. The properties of the $MAPbI_3$ layer were found to be strongly influenced by the amount, dispensing speed, and spraying time of the AS solution. The $MAPbI_3$ solution was prepared by dissolving lead iodide and methyl-ammonium iodide in N,N-dimethylformamide and adding N,N-dimethyl sulfoxide. Diethyl ether (DE) was used for the AS solution. The results indicate that a $MAPbI_3$ layer appropriately sprayed with DE is beneficial for improving film quality and device efficiency because nucleation of $MAPbI_3$ layer is affected by the characteristics of DE, which affect the film's crystallinity, density, and surface morphology. The $MAPbI_3$ layer, which was optimized by using 0.7 mL of DE, a 3.03 mL/sec dispensing speed, and a 7 second time to spray after spinning showed the best efficiency of 13.74%, which was reproducible.
