Design and Implementation of Video Conference System Using Hybrid Type P2P (하이브리드형 P2P를 이용한 화상회의 시스템의 설계 및 구현)

  • This paper describes the design and implementation of video conference system using hybrid type P2P(Peer to Peer). The proposed video conference system has hybrid type P2P architecture based on a client-server and P2P(Peer to Peer), where client-server is used for exchange of account management, client list and status information and P2P is used for the real time video conference. The proposed video conference system decreases the traffic of server, and cuts down the load of a network. Because the multimedia data is decentralized to client by P2P. Also, this system is tested by the multi-party video conference system using communication protocol and application software through high speed networks.

  • Recently, there are several attempts to save temporal, spatial and paper resources through mobile teleconference. However, present application-based mobile solutions have limited access, and are occasionally not working because of its operating system dependency. In recent times, several researchers attempt to develop mobile teleconference systems that can operate in all operating systems. It is still required to install proprietary applications to sync screens in user device. In this paper, we propose a full duplex and real-time data mirroring technology based on hybrid web that allows syncing screens without application installation, and operates in all mobile devices.

  • 근래의 프로세서는 하나의 다이 위에 여러 개의 코어를 배치한 멀티코어 형태를 띠고 있다. 최근에는 프로세서의 에너지 소비량을 줄이기 위해 비대칭 멀티코어를 활용하여 동일한 성능을 유지하며 소비전력을 낮추는 방법에 대한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 비대칭 멀티코어의 장점을 최대한 활용하기 위해서는 대칭형 멀티코어와는 달리 실행해야 할 프로세스와 상이한 코어간의 작동 특성을 고려해야 한다. 본 논문에서는 전력 소비 효율 향상을 위해 프로세스 스케줄링 알고리즘에 하이브리드 인공지능 기술인 Adaptive Neuro Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS)를 적용하여 각 프로세스에 적합한 코어를 찾아 할당하는 방법을 제안한다. 시뮬레이션 결과 제안하는 프로세스 스케줄러는 리눅스의 CFS 대비 평균 35.4% 낮은 Energy Delay Product (EDP)를 보였으며 이를 통해 하이브리드 인공지능을 적용한 프로세스 스케줄링 알고리즘의 유효성을 입증하였다.

  • 시대가 발전함에 따라 무선통신 기술인 사물인터넷이 점차 성장하고 있으며 모바일 중심으로 IT환경이 재편됨에 따라 전자상거래의 결제방식 또한 변화하고 있다. IT시대에 맞춰 개인의 실시간 위치정보를 기반으로 홍보할 수 있는 지능적 마케팅 수단으로 하이브리드 비콘을 활용하여 고객이 매장근처를 지나치거나 방문할 때, 프로모션 및 쿠폰 정보를 전송하여 실시간 마케팅이 가능하게 한다. 하이브리드 비콘은 고주파의 특성상 매장 안팎의 고객 위치를 정교하게 구분 및 제공할 수 있으며, 블루투스의 연결이 끊기더라도 일정시간 동안 마케팅 서비스를 제공하는 강점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 하이브리드 비콘의 고주파와 저전력에 대한 강점을 활용하여 오프라인 매장에서의 고객에게 프로모션 정보나 모바일 적립 서비스를 제공함으로서 오프라인 시장의 마케팅 및 O2O시장 성장을 목표로 한다.

Multi-DOF Real-time Hybrid Dynamic Test of a Steel Frame Structure (강 뼈대 구조물의 다자유도 실시간 하이브리드 동적 실험)

  • The hybrid test is one of the most advanced test methods to predict the structural dynamic behavior with the interaction between a physical substructure and a numerical modeling in the hybrid control system. The purpose of this study is to perform the multi-directional dynamic test of a steel frame structure with the real-time hybrid system and to evaluate the validation of the results. In this study, FEAPH, nonlinear finite element analysis program for hybrid only, was developed and the hybrid control system was optimized. The inefficient computational time was improved with a fixed number iteration method and parallel computational techniques used in FEAPH. Furthermore, the previously used data communication method and the interface between a substructure and an analysis program were simplified in the control system. As the results, the total processing time in real-time hybrid test was shortened up to 10 times of actual measured seismic period. In order to verify the accuracy and validation of the hybrid system, the linear and nonlinear dynamic tests with a steel framed structure were carried out so that the trend of displacement responses was almost in accord with the numerical results. However, the maximum displacement responses had somewhat differences due to the analysis errors in material nonlinearities and the occurrence of permanent displacements. Therefore, if the proper material model and numerical algorithms are developed, the real-time hybrid system could be used to evaluate the structural dynamic behavior and would be an effective testing method as a substitute for a shaking table test.

  • Anghelescu et al. proposed a block cryptosystem based on 8-cell hybrid additive cellular automata with cycle length 8 using state transition rules 51, 60 (or 102). All states must divided into the same cycles in the diagram of the cellular automata. But there exist cellular automata which don't satisfy this condition in Anghelescu et al.'s cryptosystem. In this paper we analyze hybrid additive cellular automata and propose an improved method.

  • In this paper, we address the problem of designing and implementing an oil pump control system driven by a brushless DC (BLDC) motor. The proposed oil pump plays the role of providing fuel to the engine clutch and transmission of hybrid vehicles. Main consideration is given to enhancing response feature and accuracy of the oil pump by simplifying the controller that is driven by a BLDC motor under PWM voltage control, which is a standard control method for BLDC motors. The proposed control scheme also helps to increase efficiency and reliability of the oil pump system. To validate the performance of the proposed system, we conduct experiments on BLDC motor speed control and oil pump operations.

  • Due to the prevalence of digital camera, multi-media etc. the image is being used in everyday life. However, noise always damages the image and the image denoising technology is important part for improving the image visual quality. There are many existing methods to remove noise such as wiener filter, mean filter and VisuShrink etc. However, they perform not good enough for denoising. Hence, in this paper we proposed a hybrid filter algorithm which consists of wiener filter and modified wavelet based thresholding method using adaptive threshold and thresholding function. The proposed algorithm shows not only better low frequency and high frequency property, but also the outstanding noise suppression and edge preservation properties.

  • People have been interested in the next generation media and service over 3D by development of 3D industry and generalization of 3D-related content and equipment in recent year. Many researchers predict that a strong candidate is digital hologram. Holographic technology is classified to capture(or generation), processing, and display(or reconstruction). This paper discusses the digital holographic display system using hybrid image pickup system and proposes a new structure of digital holographic display system. Through the proposed method a digital hologram can be scalably serviced according to display equipments with various resolutions, computing power of decoding part, and network bandwidth.

  • A Multicarrier code division multiple access(MC-CDMA) is a scheme that combines multicarrier modulation with CDMA. It offers robustness to frequency selective fading effect and can support higher rate data transmission with higher spectral efficiency. The objective of this article is proposed and analyzed a new asynchronous MC-CDMA system with various kinds of data rates which employs a multiple access interference (MAI) canceller. The proposed multirate MC-CDMA system can be accomplished by changing the number of Parallel branch(P) according to their data rate and hybrid interference canceller(HIC) are used for MAI cancellation. We compare the performance of proposed system in terms of average bit error rate(BER) with that of a single rate MC-CDMA system. The results show the large improvement in performance that can be attained by the cancellation scheme under multipath environments.
