  • 사이버 금융의 대중화가 시작된 데에는 여러 요인들이 작용한 것으로 판단된다. 우선 인터넷과 PC의 보급이 일반화 되었다는 점을 기반 하부구조의 구축이라는 측면에서 지적할 수 있다. 그리고 고객들의 인터넷 거래에 대하여 거부감이나 불안감 등이 감소되고 있다는 점도 사이버 거래를 촉진하고 있다고 볼 수 있다.

Seismic Analysis of the Multi-Span Continuous Bridge Considering the Friction of the Expansion Bearings (가동받침 마찰을 고려한 다경간 연속교의 내진 해석)

  • This study presents the nonlinear dynamic analysis method of the multi-span continuous bridge considering the friction of the expansion bearings. Also the numerical analysis is performed for estimating the effect of the friction on the seismic response of the multi-span continuous bridge under the longitudinal ground motion compatible to Korean bridge design response spectra. It is found that even small friction coefficient of the expansion bearings has significant effect on reducing the superstructure displacement due to energy dissipation and distributing the inertia force of the superstructure to the substructures due to frictional force. It is observed that such favorable friction effects increase as the friction coefficient increases and the magnitude of the ground motion decreases. Therefore, the friction of the expansion bearings can be effectively used for the safe and economic design of the continuous span bridge with many spans and large superstructure weight under the small to medium scale longitudinal ground motions.

  • CFT structures require a diaphragm to prevent buckling of steel at connections. An outer diaphragm has better concrete filling than a through diaphragm due to a large bore, but due to the larger size than the through diaphragm, it has poorer constructability and cooperation with building equipment. The building structure has a floor slab that was unified with the upper diaphragm, so the outer diaphragm was placed at the upper bound. Moreover, the through diaphragmwas placed at the lower connection to avoid obstruction of the building equipment. The CFT structure with the improved concrete filling showed the same structural behavior as the CFT structure with the use of the same type of diaphragms at the upper and lower connections.

The effects of pixel density, sub-pixel structure, luminance, and illumination on legibility of smartphone (화소 밀집도, 화소 하부구조, 휘도, 조명 조도가 스마트폰 가독성에 미치는 영향)

  • Since the domestic introduction of iPhone in 2009, use of smartphones rapidly increased and many tasks, previously performed by various devices, are now performed by smartphones. In this process the importance of reading little text using small smartphone screen has become highly significant. This research tested how display factors of smartphone (pixel density, sub-pixel structure, luminance) and environmental factor (illumination) affect legibility related discomfort in text reading. The results indicated that legibility related discomfort is largely affected by pixel density, where people experience inconvenience when the pixel density becomes lower than 300 PPI. Illumination has limited effect on legibility related discomfort. Participants reported more legibility related discomfort when stimulus presented in various levels of illumination rather than single illumination level. Sub-pixel structure and luminance did not affected legibility related discomfort. Based on the results we suggest lower limit resolution of smart devices (smartphones, tablet computers) of different sizes for text legibility.

  • 저영향개발(Low Impact Development, LID) 시설들은 미국 일본 등 선진국을 중심으로 관련법에 따라 개발 및 적용 되어왔으나 국내에서는 최근에서야 LID 시설을 적용할 수 있는 제도적인 틀을 구축하고 있는 실정이며, 국내 여건에 맞는 LID 시설을 개발하여 그 효용성을 검증하기 까지는 상당한 시간이 소요될 것으로 판단된다. 서울시는 2014년 '서울특별시 빗물관리에 관한 조례 전부개정조례'를 발표함으로써 한국형 LID 시설을 대단위로 적용 하고 검증 할 수 있는 발판을 마련하였다. 서울시의 2014년 전부개정조례에 따르면 시장 및 구청장은 저영향개발 계획 수립의 실효성 확보를 위하여 저영항개발 사전협의 제도를 마련하여 시행하여야 하며, 시장은 저영향개발 지구단위계획을 수립하여야 한다. 이에 따라, 본 연구에서는 실제로 적용 가능한 투수포장 주차장을 설계 할 수 있도록 투수 주차장형 LID 시설을 검증할 수 있는 투수효율성 검증실험단지를 설계 및 구축 하였다. 과거 도심의 우수배제는 중앙 집중형 시스템으로 단기간에 우수를 차집하여 배제하는 방식이었으나, 근래에는 집중형 우수배제 시스템의 위험성, 경제성 그리고 용량한계 등 여러 가지 문제점이 부각되면서 분산형 시스템으로의 전환이 이루어지고 있다. 물순환도시 및 지속가능한 도시 등이 분산형 우수배제 시스템의 예이며, 주차장, 도로, 건물 등 불투수 표면으로부터의 우수를 지면으로 침투 및 침루시키는 방법 등을 활용하여 건전한 물순환을 꾀하고 있다. 침투 및 침루 능력은 각각 포장체 및 포장면 하부구조의 재료와 밀접한 관련이 있으며 재료의 선정은 하부구조의 안정성 확보를 고려하여 선택되어야 한다. 또한 우수 배제를 위한 유공관은 접합점에서 강도를 유지하면서 효율적으로 유수를 배제할 수 있어야 하며, 저류조 설치는 강수의 활용목적에 맞게 선정되어야 한다. 이러한 투수 주차장형 LID 시설은 하나의 시스템으로서 포장체의 재료에 따른 공학적 성질, 하부구조 구축방법 및 재료 선정 그리고 유공관 배열 등에 따라 그 시스템의 거동이 변화하므로 기존에 행해왔던 단순 재료실험으로는 투수성 주차장의 우수배제 시스템을 평가할 수 없다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 이를 검증할 수 있는 투수효율성 검증실험단지 설계 및 구축하였다.

Comparative Seismic Design of Bridges with Lead Rubber and Steel Bearings for the Ductile Failure Mechanism (지진격리교량과 강재받침교량의 연성파괴메커니즘에 의한 비교내진설계)

  • Many isolated bridges are designed and constructed after the introduction of the seismic design. However those bridges designed in engineering fields have unnecessarily high serviceability limit and brittle failure mechanism, which do not satisfy the seismic design concept. Such design results are due to the excessive substructure stiffness of the conventional design method as well as the misunderstanding of the seismic design method. In this study an isolated bridge designed with the conventional design method is selected and the same bridge with steel bearings is modelled for the comparative seismic design. From the comparison, the seismic design procedures satisfying the required performance levels are provided for the two bridges. It is confirmed that the isolated bridge requires more complicated design procedure with trial and error methods and reanalyses but provides higher serviceability limit compared to the bridge with steel bearings. However, because the required serviceability limit can also be obtained by adjusting substructure stiffness, it is a resonable seismic design process that an isolated bridge is to be considered as an alternative design when the ductile failure mechanism is not obtained with a bridge with steel bearings.

  • Modular bridge construction enabling better productivity of design and construction by standardized members and robotic construction becomes an important issue in construction industry. Modular structures needs accurate information delivery between design, fabrication and construction processes. BIM (Building Information Modeling) based parametric modeling was proposed for the modular bridge substructure. Considering ranges of parameters of the modular bridge, fixed value, variables and relations were defined and these parametric models were applied to design, analysis and fabrication. Experience from development of new structures can be embedded in the 3D models, and the models provide efficient and precise knowledge delivery.

  • This paper studied on a theoretical approach to predict structural performances and weight -reduction rates of hybrid bodyshells in case that the material of underframe structure is substituted. To choose other light-weight materials to be substituted for the original underframe material, compressive, bending and twisting deformations are considered under constant stiffness and strength conditions, which derive some new weight-reduction indices from a structural performance point of view. Next, these weight-reduction indices were verified using the finite element analyses of some simplified examples. It is shown that the derived indices to estimate the weight-reduction can be utilized as a good criterion for material substitution of the underframe at a basic design stage.

  • The evaluation of earthquake load on the surface is very important factor for the seismic reinforcement of existing building, and the magnitude of earthquake load depends on a shear wave velocity profile of soil under a building. To determine a shear wave velocity profile under a existing building, test method should be able to determine a reliable shear wave velocity profile under conditions such as heavy background noise and the small test area, and be sensitive to the variation of material property. In this research, HWAW (Harmonic Wavelet Analysis of Waves) method is applied to determine a shear wave velocity profile under a existing building. In this paper, through numerical simulations and field tests, the feasibility of the proposed method was shown.
