  • 반복하중을 받는 대부분의 토목구조물은 정적하중보다 훨씬 낮은 하중에서 파괴가 발생하는 경우가 있는데 이러한 현상을 피로라고 하며, 특히 강교량을 구성하는 부재중에서 2차 부재에 해당되는 덮개판, 수평보강재, 수직보강재, 거셋트 등의 용접부에서는 여러 원인으로 인해서 피로손상이 발생하게 되어 결국에는 구조물의 성능에 크게 영향을 미치게 된다. (중략)

십자형 필렛용접 이음부의 복수균열 진전수명 평가 (Fatigue Life Estimation of Cruciform Welded Joint Considering Multiple Collinear Surface Cracks)

  • Fatigue life of welded joints is governed by the propagation of multiple collinear surface cracks distributed randomly along weld toe. These cracks propagate under the mechanisms of mutual interaction and coalescence of the adjacent two cracks. To estimate the fatigue life, its influences on the above two mechanisms should be taken into account, which appear through the stress intensity factors disturbed mutually. However, it is difficult to calculate the stress intensity factors of the multiple surface cracks located in vicinity of weld toe due to its geometrical complexity. They are calculated normally by using the Μk-factors, but such Mk-factors are very rare in literature. In this study, the Μ$textsc{k}$-factors were obtained from a parametric study on crack length and depth, for which a finite element method is used. A fatigue test for a cruciform welded Joint was conducted and the fatigue life of the tested specimen was estimated using the present method with the informations obtained from the test, such as the number, size, and locations of the cracks. The estimated and measured fatigue life showed a good agreement.

고속회전 아크센서를 이용한 필렛 용접선 추적에 관한 연구 (A Study on Seam Tracking for Fillet Welding using High Speed Rotating Arc Sensor)

  • In this paper, a high speed rotating arc sensor for automatic fillet welding is introduced. In order to track the welding seam, The high speed rotating arc sensor is used. The welding tip of a high speed rotating arc sensor rotates about 3000 rpm using DC motor. The rotating torch is driven by gear between welding torch body and wire guide. The welding current is measured by using the current sensor and rot at ing position sensor. To realize the welding seam tracking algorithm with accuracy, a software filter algorithm using the moving average method is applied to the measured welding current in the microprocessor. The welding mobile robot with two wheels and two sliders is developed for fillet welding. The welding mobile robot can control its traveling direction and turn itself around the corner. The effectiveness is proven through the experimental results conducted with varied fillet tracking patterns.

평블록의 용접변형제어에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Accuracy Control of Panel Blocks)

  • This paper is concerned with the simulator's ability to estimate deformation due to welding of panel blocks. An efficient computer program system has been developed which can be applied both to estimation of weld-induced deformation, under the given welding conditions, and to reflection of effect when methods for deformation control of are applied. This paper briefly describes the background of the present simulator and shows some results applying the simulator to the estimation of weld-induced deformation. In addition, the results when methods for deformation control are applied are also included.

TIG처리에 따른 하중비전달형 필렛용접부의 피로특성 (An Effect of TIG Dressing on Fatigue Characteristics of Non Load-Carrying Fillet Welded Joints)

  • 이 연구에서는 하중비전달형 필렛용접부를 대상으로 순수휨상태에서 TIG 처리에 따른 피로강도 향상정도 및 피로특성을 정량적으로 평가하기 위해서 4점 휨실험을 실시하였다. 피로실험결과 용접후처리를 실시하지 않은 시험체는 국내 외에서 규정하는 피로강도등급을 만족하고 있고 TIG 처리한 시험체는 용접후처리를 실시하지 않은 시험체보다 $2{\times}106$회 피로강도가 상회하는 것을 알 수 있었다. 또한 비치마크실험결과 피로균열은 용접지단부의 비드접선각도 및 곡률반경이 최소로 되는 점에서 다발적으로 발생하며, 반타원형 균열로 성장, 합체되어 파단에 이르는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 한편 유한요소해석결과 용접지단부의 응력집중계수는 용접지단부의 비드접선각도 및 곡률반경과 밀접한 관계가 있으며, 이 중에서 곡률반경이 용접지단부의 응력집중계수에 보다 큰 영향을 미치는 것을 알 수 있었다. 한편 파괴역학적 해석결과 a/t가 0.4 이하인 경우에 기하학적형상보정계수가 균열보정계수에 가장 지배적인 영향을 미치는 인자임을 알 수 있었다. 또한 유한요소해석결과로부터 산정한 응력확대계수범위와 피로균열성장속도의 관계식으로부터 피로수명을 비교적 정확하게 산정할 수 있었다.

  • Stainless steel sheets are widely used as the structural material for the railroad cars and the commercial vehicles. These kinds structures used stainless steel sheets are commonly fabricated by using the gas welding. For fatigue design of gas welded joints such as fillet and plug type joint, it is necessary to obtain design information on stress distribution at the weldment as well as fatigue strength of gas welded joints. And also, the influence of the geometrical parameters of gas welded joints on stress distribution and fatigue strength must be evaluated. the ${\Delta}P-N_f$ curves were obtained by fatigue tests. Using these results, ${\Delta}P-N_f$ curves were rearranged in the ${\sigma}-N_f$ relation with the maximum stress at the edge of fillet welded joint.

SM490A 재질 필렛 용접시편의 피로수명과 용접부 피로파단시 스트레인 변화 연구 (A study on the fatigue life and the change of the strain during the fatigue fracture on the fillet welded specimens of SM490A)

  • This study investigates the fatigue lives of SM490A material(base metal) specimens and fillet weld specimens, which are made same material and weld method for the railway vehicle. These fatigue lives have a difference, the fatigue lives of weld specimen are shorter than those of base metal. We measured the strains on the weld positions of the specimens during the fatigue test for investigation of crack initiation and crack growth. In these result, we could find the information of the crack initiation position on weld bead and the history of crack growth. Also we knew that the fatigue crack initiation cycles and the changes of the strain which were affected the fractured surface roughness and morphology.

  • 현재 조선 산업의 대형 블록제작 용접공정에서 용접용 캐리지(Carriage)를 이용한 반자동 용접 방법이 많이 사용되고 있다. 여기서의 캐리지는 수평 필렛 용접에서 용접 토치를 이송해 주는 장치이지만, 로봇 용접방법처럼 용접선을 추적하는 기능이 없어 곡선용접에는 사용이 불가능하며, 단순히 직선용접에만 사용할 수 있다. 또, 용접선을 추적하는 기능이 없기 때문에 직선용접에서도 용접오류가 자주 발생하여 이를 수정하는데 많은 시간과 비용이 소요되고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 현재 사용하고 있는 캐리지에 스트레인 게이지를 이용한 용접선 추적 센서와 80C196KC 마이크로컨트롤러를 추가 설치하여 직선 및 곡선용접에서 용접선을 자동으로 추적할 수 있는 시스템을 개발하여 사선 모형 및 컨테이너 박스 모형 용접선을 제작하여 추적현상에 대해 고찰하여 보았다.
