  • 습식응고법에 의한 다공성 폴리우레탄-부직포 합성피혁은 일반적으로 DMF 또는 MEK 둥의 용제로 희석한 폴리우레탄 수지에 니들펀칭 부직포를 함침하여 기포를 준비한 후, 폴리우레탄으로 코팅하여 비용매인 물에서 응고하는 방법으로 제조한다. 따라서 합성피혁은 부직포의 물성, 함침조건, 코팅조건 및 응고조건에 따라 물성의 차이를 나타낼 것으로 판단된다[l]. 특히 합성피혁의 물성은 폴리우레탄 코팅층의 내부에 형성되는 셀(cell)의 크기, 분포 및 형태에 크게 의존한다. (중략)

A study on Mechanical Properties of Acrylic-casein Hybrid Resins for Surface Protection (표면 보호용 수용성 Acrylic-casein Hybrid Resin의 합성 및 기계적 물성에 관한 연구)

  • In this study, prepared synthesis waterborne acrylic resin and water soluble milk casein resin. And than extent of casein contents in acrylic resin. We measured property of these samples by Lamb leather which is coated by acrylic-casein resins. According to measure data for solvent resistance, WAR resin and Hybrid resins had good property. Among this result knew that increase of casein constant did not influence to big change of hybrid resin property. As test of tensile strength, WAR had lowest strength($1.399kg_f/mm^2$) and WAC-3 had highest strength($1.426kg_f/mm^2$). Also we knew that best property of abrasion was WAC-3(69.774 mg.loss). In elongation case, WAR had best property(820%) in this experiment.

  • Prepared polyurethane resin for vegetable leather coating on surface was synthesized with glycerol which had different mole ratio. Mechanical properties of the synthesized polyurethane resin were measured by the SEM, FT-IR, UTM. Growing concerns in the evnironment-friendly polymer resin, we have synthesized low late obtained solvent water dispersion resin to be coating on vegetable leather. The increase of aliphatic trihydric alcohol glycerol mole %, abrasion resistance and tensile strength had highly stronger in intensity and longer durability. On the contrary, demonstrated reduce properties of elongation and flexibility. In the result of toluene solvent resistance, there was no effect of increased or decreased by the ratio of glycerol mole %.

  • Wet polyurethane resin was synthesized by using polytrimethylene ether glycol prepared from 1,3-propanediol produced by fermentation from corn sugar as bio polyol and polyether-polyol(PTMG). Physical properties and cell characteristics by wet coagulation were investigated using the synthesized wet polyurethane resin. The tensile strength of wet polyurethane resin decreased with increasing content of bio polyol as copolymer polyol, but it tended to increase elongation at break and tear strength. As a result of thermal characteristic analysis, it was found that the glass transition temperature was slightly increased as the content of bio polyol increased. As a result of comparing the cell characteristics by the wet coagulation method, it was found that the shape of the cell was good when the ether polyol and the bio polyol were used alone.

  • In this study we synthesis Hybrid resin(WPC) by milk casein and waterborne polyurethane(WPU). Then we experiment how casein effect to Hybrid resins in Full-Grain leather coatings. According to measured data for solvent resistance, WPU resin and Hybrid resins had good property. As test of tensile strength, WPU had most low strength(2.130 $kg_f/mm^2$) and WPC-3(WPU 91: casein resin 9) had most high strength(2.191 $kg_f/mm^2$). Also we knew that most good property of abrasion is WPC-3(50.090 mg.loss). In elongation case, WPU had most good result(637 %) in this experiment.

  • Generally, solvent-type coatings generate a large amount of volatile organic chemicals(VOC), which are carcinogenic substances, in the manufacturing process, and their use is regulated due to environmental problems. There is also the problem of resource depletion due to limited fossil fuels. Therefore, in this study, UV-curable urethane acrylate oligomers were synthesized with different contents of isosorbide, which is a biomass material, and proceeded to evaluate the physical properties of coatings. As the isosorbide contents increased, the viscosity, glass transition temperature, tensile strength, stain resistance, and pencil hardness increased, but elongation and flexibility decreased, and BOI-3 showed the best adhesion. The isosorbide content of the oligomer fixed at 20%, UV-curable urethane acrylate oligomer was synthesized according to the content ratio of polycaprolactone diol(PCL) and Ecoprol H1000(Ecoprol). As the PCL/Ecoprol content ratio increased, the glass transition temperature, elongation, and flexibility increased, but the tensile strength and pencil hardness decreased. It was confirmed that the adhesion and stain resistance increased by improving the surface bonding strength of PCL. All films of oligomers synthesized were transparent without discoloration.

A Study on Measurement of Mechanical Properties of Polyther Polyol Base Polyurethane Dispersion by 1,4-butanediol Chain Extension (Polyether Polyol을 이용한 수분산 폴리우레탄의 1,4-butanediol 사슬연장에 의한 물성변화)

  • In this paper, the mechanical property change was investigated by adding 1,4-butanediol as chain extender of polyurethane dispersion for leather coating. Reagents for the synthesis were polypropylene glycol(PPG), isoporon diisocyanate(IPDI), dimethylolpropionic acid(DMPA) and 1,4-BD. All samples showed good solvent resistance and flexibility by different content of the 1,4-BD. As results, samples which contains a lot of 1,4-BD showed good properties whth strength of $1.80kg_f/mm^2$ and abrasion test measurement of 49.54 mg.loss. According to elongation test, the sample which contains low amount of 1,4-BD was good property as 364 %.
