Language Modeling based on Inter-Word Dependency Relation (단어간 의존관계에 기반한 언어모델링)

  • 확률적 언어모델링은 일련의 단어열에 문장확률값을 적용하는 기법으로서 음성인식, 확률적 기계번역 등의 많은 자연언어처리 응용시스템의 중요한 한 요소이다. 기존의 접근방식으로는 크게 n-gram 기반, 문법 기반의 두가지가 있다. 일반적으로 n-gram 방식은 원거리 의존관계를 잘 표현 할 수 없으며 문법 기반 방식은 광범위한 커버리지의 문법을 습득하는데에 어려움을 가지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 일종의 단순한 의존문법을 기반으로 하는 언어모델링 기법을 제시한다. 의존문법은 단어와 단어 사이의 지배-피지배 관계로 구성되며 본 논문에서 소개되는 의존문법 재추정 알고리즘을 이용하여 원시 코퍼스로부터 자동적으로 학습된다. 실험 결과, 제시된 의존관계기반 모델이 tri-gram, bi-gram 모델보다 실험코퍼스에 대해서 약 11%에서 11.5%의 엔트로피 감소를 보임으로써 성능의 개선이 있었다.

Home Monitoring Server System using Smart Interface over Wireless Networks (무선네트워크 통신을 활용한 스마트 연동 홈 모니터링 서버 시스템)

  • In this paper, we implement a wireless home monitoring system using physical computing platform with the open source type for house environment management. Sensors for temperature, optics and ultrasonic waves are used for home environment elements detection and control for the home safety. To obtain information related with home and transmit it to RIA Windows server system, XBee wireless communication system is used and the transmitted information is saved in mySQL database for history management. The possibility of prevention against fire disaster of a house situated in a dense buildings area and highly populated environments is suggested by adopting the proposed system.

  • 본 논문에서는 웹 애플리케이션에서 하드웨어를 엑세스 하기 위한 중계시스템을 개발하는데 목적이 있다. 웹 애플리케이션의 일종인 Scratch에서 스마트 블록과 같은 하드웨어를 엑세스 하기위해 웹 서버 기반의 중계시스템을 개발하였다. 중계시스템 개발을 통해 Scratch와 스마트 블록을 활용하여 피지컬 컴퓨팅 교육을 통해 학습자의 컴퓨팅적 사고 함양에 기여 한다.

  • Textbook is a tool that helps achieve the learning objectives based on the content of the curriculum. The contents of the textbook will be constructed newly because revised curriculum 2015 was announced. The aim at this study is to provide an indication of the textbook writing. To achieve the objectives, we conducted a pilot study in order to analyze the content of the textbook of informatics currently being used in middle schools and to derive the direction of access to the newly configured physical computing unit. Analysis of content elements was used Romey. The pilot studied makes lesson harmonized with H/W and S/W by utilizing the robot. According to the results of the analysis, there is one textbook among the currently used textbooks that is suitable to help students develop their thinking and in the case of physical computing unit, inquiry instruction showed positive results. This study suggestions necessity of writing types that sets importance on activities in the form of textbook.

Buffer Cache Management for Low Power Consumption (저전력을 위한 버퍼 캐쉬 관리 기법)

  • As the computing environment moves to the wireless and handheld system, the power efficiency is getting more important. That is the case especially in the embedded hand-held system and the power consumed by the memory system takes the second largest portion in overall. To save energy consumed in the memory system we can utilize low power mode of SDRAM. In the case of RDRAM, nap mode consumes less than 5% of the power consumed in active or standby mode. However hardware controller itself can't use this facility efficiently unless the operating system cooperates. In this paper we focus on how to minimize the number of active units of SDRAM. The operating system allocates its physical pages so that only a few units of SDRAM need to be activated and the unnecessary SDRAM can be put into nap mode. This work can be considered as a generalized and system-wide version of PAVM(Power-Aware Virtual Memory) research. We take all the physical memory into account, especially buffer cache, which takes an half of total memory usage on average. Because of the portion of buffer cache and its importance, PAVM approach cannot be robust without taking the buffer cache into account. In this paper, we analyze the RAM usage and propose power-aware page allocation policy. Especially the pages mapped into the process' address space and the buffer cache pages are considered. The relationship and interactions of these two kinds of pages are analyzed and exploited for energy saving.

  • Current trend of audit is to check the physical aspects of developed information system, such as checking the budget constraints, time constraints or functional fluency etc. However, ultimate goal of information system is to help the organization to achieve the competency over their competitors. Also, there are three different interest groups in system auditing, like audit requesting group, audited group and audit group, who may have different points of interests in auditing. Current auditing process, however, ignores this point, and so does not check the differences between three groups. This study tries to develop new auditing method to cure these two problems. Contributions of this study may be summarized as follows. First, Redefine Information Systems Audit from a service point of view. Second, Divide the audit related person into three groups, and their different needs toward the information system was analyzed. Third, Analyze and compare the main interests of three groups, and weights of each groups to each indexes were calculated. Fourth, Fuzzy theory was applied to quantify the qualitative answers, which may minimize the ambiguity of questionnaire replies.

  • A reward of the work which used physical computing in fields artistic modern installation is becoming large. But the example that used a robot cannot try to easily look it up on a tool of the drawing which isn't robot use for interaction. I will mention it about a user and a drawing system design and the developmental process which I can communicate with at these papers. I used a Mindstorm NXT system to have been said in Lego companies in the robot which composed working environment, and I classified it to virtual environments that I forecasted environmental actual drawing this, and I did simulate. I used an Icommand library to control a NXT system, and drawing used a processing library in actual environments for the purpose of in order to to express to virtual environment. I got image information, and I expressed to a vector method SVG file to bases for line drawing. This system can have already made it according to demand of a user as real-time communication is possible by bluetooth working together. These figures can work to one performance not being stopping to the results of already in processes doing drawing.

  • In this paper, we design and implement an educational robot system that can use scratch education with the function of user demanding to perform robot education in actual school site in an embedded environment. It is developed to enable physical education for sensing information processing, software design and programming practice training that is the basis of robotic system. The development environment of the system is Arduino Uno based product using Atmega 328 core, debugging environment based on Arduino Sketch, firmware development language using C language, OS using Windows, Linux, Mac OS X. The system operation process receives the control command of the server using the Bluetooth communication, and drives various sensors of the educational robot. The curriculum includes Scratch program and Bluetooth communication, which enables real-time scratch training. It also provides smartphone apps and is designed to enable education like C and Python through expansion. Teachers at the school site used the developed products and presented performance processing results satisfying the missionary needs of the missionaries.

  • This paper presents the optimal fraction of validation set to obtain a prediction accuracy of software failure count or failure time in the future by a neuro-fuzzy system. Given a fixed amount of training data, the most popular effective approach to avoiding underfitting and overfitting is early stopping, and hence getting optimal generalization. But there is unresolved practical issues : How many data do you assign to the training and validation set\ulcorner Rules of thumb abound, the solution is acquired by trial-and-error and we spend long time in this method. For the sake of optimal fraction of validation set, the variant specific fraction for the validation set be provided. It shows that minimal fraction of the validation data set is sufficient to achieve good next-step prediction. This result can be considered as a practical guideline in a prediction of software reliability by neuro-fuzzy system.
