The year 1997 was when Korean Journal of Public Relations Research started to publish research articles. This study addresses the issue of theories in Korean public relations research. A total of 166 research papers are analyzed to see characteristics and changes during 2003-2012. Through this meta analysis, the researcher tries to see the big picture and discusses the right direction for the future of the public relations in many ways. Three different groupings were adopted to classify theories in the 10 year perion - 1. origins of theories(public relations field, related neighbor field, distant field), 2. target of analysis(individual, organization, society), 3. level of approach (systematic pluralistic, rhetorical, critical approach). According to the findings, though getting better, it was 'cold season' in public relations research because theories utilized in Korean public relations research were not very excellent qualitatively and qualitatively. Interdisciplinary approach is discussed.

대한인쇄문화협회와 한국이앤에스가 공동 주최하고 대한인쇄연구소가 주관한 'KIPES2002 기념세미나'가 8월 30일 오후 2시부터 5시까지 서울무역전시장 2층 세미나실에서 '디지털시대 인쇄문화산업 경영전략'이라는 주제로 개최됐다. 이날 세미나에서 제1주제 '디지털시대의 인쇄문화'에 대해서는 이중한회장(문화복지협의회.출판인쇄평론가)이, 제2주제 'CTP 올바른 활용방안'에 대해서는 이근순교수(신구대학.프린트피알대표)가, 제3주제 '플렉소인쇄의 현황과 전망'에 대해서는 박치범사장(㈜필텍인터내셔날)이 각각 강연했다. 다음은 각 주제별로 요약한 내용이다.

Verticillium tenerum was detected from the samples of potato (Solanum tuberosum L.) and pumpkin (Cucurbita maxima Duch.) in Korea. The samples on which this species was detected were potato tubers collected from Pyungchang and Gimjae, and fruits and seeds of pumpkin from Yeonchon in 2003. The conidiophores of the fungus produced mainly three to five phialides in verticil. The phialides were narrow, flask-shaped, only very slightly swollen at the base, and taper subulately to a narrow neck. They were hyaline, $10{\sim}26{\times}2{\sim}5\;{\mu}m$. The conidia were formed in slimy heads, and were oval to ellipsoidal, pale reddish-brown, $2.5{\sim}7.5{\times}2{\sim}4\;{\mu}m$. The colony on the substrata was unique, showing brick-red color. This is the first report on the distribution of Verticillium tenerum in Korea.

The need for urban-scale energy simulation is increasing as the world is aware of urgency to decrease $CO_2$ emission. As a bridge of building energy simulation and that of urban, this paper presents a case study to examine the effect of changing resolution of a model in case of complex apartment unit. Also it suggests a modeling strategy to correct differences caused by simplification of the model and evaluate the extent of its use.

'출판및인쇄진흥법' 제정에 따른 출판 인쇄산업 발전방안에 관한 토론회가 문화광광부 주최로 지난 12일 오후 2시부터 4시까지 문화관광부 5층 대회의실에서 출판.인쇄산업 관련단체와 업계 및 학계 대표자 등 50여명이 참석한 가운데 개최됐다. 문화관광부는 이날 토론회와 '출판.인쇄산업 발전방향에 관한 제안서'를 토대로 출판.인쇄산업을 21세기 지식기반산업으로 21세기 지식기반산업으로 육성.지원하는 중장기 계획을 마련할 방침이다. 박광무 문화부 출판신문과장의 개회사에 이어 한기호 한국출판마케팅연구소장의 사회로 진행된 이날 토론회에서는 백원근 한국출판연구소 선임연구원이 '출판산업의 비전 및 발전방향'에 대해, 이창경 신구대학교 출판미디어과 교수가 '출판 전문인력 양성방안'에 대해, 유창준 대한인쇄문화협회 월간 프린팅코리아 편집국장이 '인쇄문화산업 진흥방안'에 대해, 김용문 세무사가 '출판.인쇄문화산업 발전을 위한 조세지원 방안'에 대해 각각 주제 발표를 했다. 이어 김기태 세명대 미디어창작학과 교수와 이기성 계원조형예술대 전자출판학과 교수, 이근순 피알아트닷컴 대표(신구대 겸임교수), 정대희 장안대 세무학과 겸임교수가 토론자로 참석, 열띤 토론을 벌였다. 다음은 주제 발표 내용을 요약 소개한다.

This is a study of reputation from the perspective of evolutionary psychology. To start a theory building process in PR, Tall Puppy scale is examined using dominance hierarchy and reputation hierarchy. Tall Puppy scale is a measure toward highly successful, thus famous people. when they fall. The result showed that Koreans have negative attitude toward famous people 8times more and prefer their fall than Austrailians. The number one variable to explain the psychology of reputation hierarchy was self-esteem. It was strongly correlated with reputation hierarchy attitude. People with higher self-esteem were more generous about famous figures when people with low self-esteem prefer more the fall of tall puppies. A discussion for reputation hierarchy theory is followed.
