  • 이 연구에서는 해양 사고 중 인명 사고가 큰 여객선 주요 피난경로와 구역에 사고에 대한 예방과 거주구역 환경 개선 사항을 안전디자인을 통해 제시 한다. 이를 위해 대피를 효과적으로 유도 할 수 있는 디자인 개선사항과 안전 디자인이 피난의 기능을 넘어서 선박 거주구에 배치 되었을 때 심리적 심미적으로 미치는 영향에 관한 연구이다.

A Study on the Plan of Inundation Response of Skyscrapers with Evacuation Route Calculation (대피경로 산정을 통한 초고층 건축물의 침수 대피 방안에 관한 연구)

  • Purpose: In this study, the authors propose a flood evacuation plan for skyscrapers with law related to underground space of skyscrapers, domestic and international underground space flood case study and simulation test. Method: This study compares the evacuation pattern of various case from flooded underground spaces extending over several floors with respect to the number of evacuation routes with. Also, simulation test was performed by setting up the virtual underground spaces consisting of three-stories basement and changing the number of the ground entrance, area of the basement and the flooding heights of the basement. Result: There was no difference in evacuation route according to the inundation risk even if there was an area corresponding to risk level 4. This is because the risk in the starting area is greater than that in the evacuation route. Especially, even if the risk of evacuation route increases with time, there is no change in route because the route must be passed to reach the evacuation site. Conclusion: In this study, there was no difference in evacuation route according to the inundation risk. However, if the size and shape of the underground space of each building is different, the depth of inundation with time may be different.

A Study on Improvement of Evacuation Safety Evaluation for Performance Based Design in Underground Parking Lot (지하주차장 성능위주설계의 피난안전성 평가 개선에 관한 연구)

  • Today, building constructions are becoming larger, higher, deeper, and complex to improve quality of human life and meet various needs. As a result, new design space for non - typically standardized space has been created, and targets for performance-based design are also becoming increased. An evacuation safety evaluation of performance-based design should be compared with ASET and RSET estimation so that the value of RSET does not exceed the value of ASET. However, there is a problem that it is difficult to secure the safety with using the performance-based design evaluation method currently in use, especially in case of the underground parking lot, because it has wide compartment area and various routes for evacuation. Therefore, in order to overcome these problems, this paper first investigates the simulation setting method of the performance-based design that is currently in use, and then conducts two fire simulations and three evacuation simulations for underground parking lots each time, so performs the evacuation safety evaluationin total six cases of situations. Here this paper analyzes the problem with comparative evaluation research and suggests the better solution for improved evacuation safety evaluation of performance-based design.

  • 지하연계 복합건축물의 건립이 급증함에 따라 건축물의 피난 성능이 중요시되고 있으며 복잡 다양해진 피난유도에 대한 피난시설 배치와 RSET(Required Safe Egress Time)이 필수적으로 관련 지침에 명시되고 있다. 그러나 RSET에 대한 신뢰성 검증 및 용도별 수용인원 산정 방법이 주관적인 관점에 의해 제시되고 있으며 이런 검증 자료의 검토기준이 정량적이지 않아 안전성 확보가 이뤄지지 않고 있는 것이 현실이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 지하연계 복합건축물의 피난 안전성을 확보하는데 가장 적합한 검증을 위해 방재 선진국의 ASET 기준을 심층적으로 분석하여 지하연계 건축물 등에서 국내 실정에 맞게 적용할 수 있는 최적화된 ASET을 도출하였다. 이러한 ASET의 신뢰성을 검증할 수 있도록 피난안전구역 및 준하는 구역의 현실 가능성을 분석하고 국내 외에서 상용화되고 있는 피난시뮬레이션 소프트웨어를 통해 건축물의 용도에 따른 수용인원 산정기준의 현실적 방안과 피난경로 설정의 Logic을 감안하여 피난의 안전 및 최단시간 가능성을 고려하였다. 따라서 지하연계복합 건축물에서 요구하는 피난성능과 수용인원의 최적화된 RSET을 정량적으로 도출함에 따라 피난 안전성에 대한 검증 프로세스를 제시하였다.

Smart Escape Support System for Passenger Ship : Active Dynamic Signage & Real-time Escape Routing (능동형 피난유도기기와 실시간 피난경로생성 기술을 적용한 여객선 스마트 인명대피 시스템)

  • It is critical that passengers should be given timely and correct escape or evacuation guidance from captain and crews when there are hazardous situations in a ship. Otherwise the consequences could be disastrous as "SEWOL Ferry" the South Korean passenger ship which sank in southern coastal area on 16th April 2014. Due to the captain's delayed evacuation decision and lack of sufficient number of crews to guide passengers' evacuation, the accident recorded many casualties, most of whom were high school students (302 passengers sank down with the ship while 172 rescued). Building a passenger ship with well-designed physical escape routes is one thing and guiding passengers to those escape routes in real disaster situation is another. Passengers get panic and move to a wrong direction, bottleneck makes situation worse, and even crews get panic also - passive static escape route signage and small number of trained crews might not be enough to take care of them. SESS (Smart Escape Support System) is being developed sponsored by South Korea Ministry of Ocean and Fisheries starting from 2016 with 4 years of roadmap. SESS comprises multiple active dynamic signage devices which communicate with real-time escape routing server software via LoRa (Long Range) proprietary wireless network.

  • 국내에서는 고층 건축물의 화재시 피난계단으로의 연기침투를 방지하여 안전한 피난경로를 확보하기 위하여 피난계단의 부속실에 외기를 급기함으로써 부속실을 단독으로 제연하는 급기가압 제연시스템을 주로 사용하고 있다. 그러나 실제 건축물에 설치되어 운영되고 있는 급기가압 제연시스템에 대한 현장 성능평가의 결과를 검토해보면 상당수의 건축물에서 급기가압 제연시스템이 소기의 운전성능을 발휘하지 못하고 있음을 알 수 있다. 즉, 제연구역인 부속실과 옥내간의 차압이 기준치 이상의 과압으로 형성되거나 또는 반대로 기준치 이하의 저압으로 유지되는 경우가 있다. 특히 피난에 따라 부속실의 출입문이 개방되면, 출입문이 열린 층 이외의 층에서 개방 전에 적정한 수준으로 유지되고 있던 차압이 크게 하강하는 것을 알 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 급기가압 제연시스템의 문제점과 이에 대한 개선방향을 검토하였다.

  • In this study, compare and analyze for high-rise evacuation safety design criteria improvement about internal high-rise building egress safety rule. To the result, high-rise evacuation safety design criteria improvement data can be summarized as follows. First, should compute the evacuation capacity about the number of persons and when more than 2 exits are requested, over 50% of evacuation capacity must be satisfied even approaching to 1 exit is unable. Second, 2 ways of evacuation can be made smoothly by the stair or exit separation-distance standard regulation. Third, regulate the length limitation of dead-end corridor or passageway and it should give grades in limitation of whether the spring-cooler has been installed. Fourth, must secure the evacuation way and do the evacuee guidance when it's safety area and elevator or stair. Also needs to provide extra safety area to secure horizontal direction Escape Safety except fire escaping floor.

A Case study on the Escape Performance of Apartment Buildings (사례를 통한 공동주택의 피난성능에 관한 연구)

  • As high-rise Apartment buildings increase the importance of fire prevention and escape performance. While these buildings provide dwellers with much more houses, they have the basic escape safety problem in their apartment buildings. In these respect, this study aims to present the Principles of Fire protection for the escape performance of apartment buildings. This study reviews basic theories of escape in apartment buildings. I figure out the characteristics of the fires in apartment buildings by case studying the fire in the apartment buildings, and find out the existing problems for escape performance and fire prevention by surveying. In this study, the major findings are as follows: The planning method should be based on the escape performance. In the planning stage, fire safety should be considered more seriously than law and economic factors.

  • This study aims at proposing a method to guide people to the most efficient route in an emergency through addressing the limitations of the existing research and providing a solution. Most of the existing intelligent guidance system tend to guide people to the shortest-distance path to the exit. A problem lies to the fact that the shortest-distance path doest not gurantee the most efficient way of evacuation. Rather than taking the shortest-distance path, this research proposes a way of taking the shortest-time path by introducing a real time loop sensor.
