컷오프 탐침과 량뮤어 탐침을 이용한 Ar/CF4 유도결합 플라즈마 특성 진단

  • 반도체 공정에서 널리 사용되고 있는 유도결합 플라즈마에서 전자밀도 분포특성이 컷오프탐침을 이용하여 측정되었다. 밀도측정에 일반적으로 많이 사용되고 있는 랭뮤어 탐침은 플루오르카본과 같은 반응성이 높은 가스를 사용하는 경우 탐침 끝부분이 증착 혹은 식각되거나 플라즈마전위 변동 때문에 V-I 곡선 특성이 왜곡되는 현상이 발생한다. 반면, 컷오프 탐침을 이용하는 경우 플라즈마 고유주파수를 실험적으로 결정하는데 여러 가지 제약이 있다. 본 연구에서는 두가지 측정방법의 비교를 통해 각 방법의 장단점을 실증적으로 비교하고 대면적 유도 결합플라즈마에서 전자밀도균일도를 조사하였다. 량뮤어 탐침법에서는 플라즈마와 탐침사이의 임피던스를 최소화 하는 튜닝회로의 최적화가 이루어 졌으며 컷오프 탐침에서는 안테나 구조에 따른 수신안테나의 신호전달 및 주파수특성에 대해 연구되었다.

  • Polyfluorocycloalkenyllithium compounds have been prepared by exchange reaction with 1,2-dihalopolyfluorocycloalkenes and alkyllithium reagents. Their reactions with mercuric, arsenic and dimethyl germanium halides are described and the chemistry of these compounds discussed.

  • This paper aimed at the development of hydrophilic carbon fiber with improved tensile strength and ductility, numerous single fiber pullout tests from different cement matrices were performed. Fiber debonding and pullout have a large influence on the tensile stress - crack opening behavior of fiber concrete. Both debonding and pullout depend on the quality of the matrix, as well as on the embedded length of the carbon fiber. In this paper, all fiber pullout tests were carried out using high strength carbon fibers, both without fluorinationed and with fluorinationed carbon fiber.

Anionic Polymerization of Hexafluoropropylene Oxide Using Hexafluoropropylene Oligomer (헥사플루오르프로필렌 올리고머를 사용한 헥사플루오르프로필렌 옥사이드의 음이온 중합)

  • Anionic polymerization of hexafluoropropylene oxide (HFPO) was investigated under various reaction conditions such as various hexafluoropropylene (HFP) oligomers composed of dimer and trimer, reaction temperatures, and feeding rates of hexafluoropropylene oxide monomer. HFP oligomer was synthesized from cesium fluoride (CsF) and HFP in tetraethyleneglycol dimethylether (TG). Under 5 g of CsF, 200 g of HFP, 10 g of TG, and reaction temperature $30^{\circ}C$, HFP dimer content in oligomer was relatively increased. HFPO oligomer with a high molecular weight ($M_w$ 3600) was synthesized in conditions of reaction temperature $0^{\circ}C$, HFP oligomer with 35.1% of dimer, and 1.85 g/min of HFPO feeding rate. Otherwise, chain transfer was increased under unoptimized reaction conditions. Consequently, it was found that reaction conditions impact chain propagation and chain transfer in the anionic polymerization of HFPO.

Feasibility of monitoring of fluoroquinolones residual through feather analysis in broilers (육계에서 깃털을 이용한 플루오르퀴놀론계 잔류 모니터링 가능성 조사)

  • This study was conducted to analyze feasibility of monitoring of fluoroquinolnes residual through feather analysis in broilers. The calibration curve showed good linearity (r2≥0.99) within the concentration range of 1~100 ㎍/kg. The limit of detection (LOD) and limit of quantification (LOQ) were validated at ≤0.66 and ≤1.99 ㎍/kg in broiler feather, respectively. The recoveries in feather samples ranged from 94.6 to 114.4% (5.1-15.8% RSD) at the 5 to 20 ㎍/kg spiking levels. The proposed new analytical method proved to be suitable and effective for fluoroquinolnes determination. We also monitored fluoroquinolones residue in 36 samples (broiler that were slaughtered in Gyonggi-do) using this method. Among tested feather samples, enrofloxacin and ciprofloxacin were detected in all samples. In muscle samples, enrofloxacin was detected in 20 (55.6%) samples and ciprofloxacin was not detected.

The Effect of Injection of Steroid and 5-Fluorouracil on Hypertrophic Scars of Rabbit (가토의 비후성 반흔에서 스테로이드와 5-플루오르우라실 투여 효과)

  • Purpose: This study was to evaluate the synergistic effects of combined therapy of steroid and anti-neoplastic drug injection on hypertrophic scars in a rabbit model. Methods: Adult male white rabbits weighing about 2.5 kg were used. After full thickness wounding (about 6 mm) over the ventral surface of each ear sized was made, either saline (control group), triamcinolone, 5-fluoruracil, and mixture of triamcinolone and 5-fluoruracil were injected once 16 days after the wound was made. Rabbits were sacrificed 2, 4 and 8 weeks after injection, and tissue specimens were prepared for histologic and histomorphometric examinations. Results: With the combined injection of triamcinolone and 5-fluoruracil, collagen fiber thickness was arranged in a somewhat irregular manner 2 weeks after injection. After 4 weeks, blood vessels and inflammatory cells were decreased, and collagen fibers were arranged in an almost parallel manner. By 8 weeks, almost same amount of connective tissue compared with adjacent normal tissue was observed. Conclusion: These results indicated that combined injection of triamcinolone and 5-fluoruracil reduced the amount of hypertrophic scars by inhibition of fibroblasts and inflammatory cells. Therefore, combined injection of triamcinolone and 5-fluoruracil is a more potent and effective treatment of hypertrophic scars compared with the single injection of either triamcinolone or 5-fluorouracil.

  • In this study, for the purpose of reduction of $CO_2$ gas emission and to increase recovery of waste heat from ships, the ORC (Organic Rankine Cycle) is investigated and offered for the conversion of temperature heat to electricity from waste heat energy from ships. Simulation was performed with waste heat from the exhaust gasse which is relatively high temperature and cooling sea water which is relatively low temperature from ships. Various fluid is used for simulation of the ORC system with variable temperature and flow condition and efficiency of system and output power is compared. Finally, 2,400kW output power is obtained by system optimization of the preheater and reheater utilizing waste heat form sea water cooling system.

Development of Conductivity Cell and Suppressor for Capillary Column Ion Chromatography (모세관 컬럼 이온 크로마토그래피를 위한 Conductivity Cell과 Suppressor의 개발)

  • In this study, conductivity cell and suppressor for micro-column ion chromatography were developed to analyze ions in small columns of samples. With a capillary column, the flow rate of the mobile phase is so small (usually $5{\sim}20{\mu}L/min$) that the usual conductivity cell can not be used. Therefore, we developed a new type of conductivity cell and suppressor which have small inner volumes. The conductivity cell was made with two Pt hypodermic needles (i.d. 0.010 mm) which are slightly separated (about $2{\mu}m$), and the suppressor was made of Nafion tubings. When several anions(fluoride, nitrite, nitrate, chlorate) were analyzed using developed conductivity cell and suppressor, a good chromatogram was obtained.

  • This study analyzed the mechanical characteristics and evaluated their subsequent performance for two types of seals which reinforced characteristics with lower friction and anti-wear functions among the foremost important features in the automotive engine seals; one with the addition of glass fiber to PTFE(Polytetrafluoro ethylene); the other with the addition of self-lubricant molybdenumin addition to the glass fiber. Based on the configuration design of seal installed to the front part in the automotive engine, this study carried out interpretations on the stress and reaction for those two types of oil seals to compare the maximum stress and contact load generated from the seal steel, rubber and PTFE lip. This study also verified the stress concentration and anti-wear performance through the coefficient of friction, torque and durability test by producing two types of PTFE seals actually.

Fast Deoxygenation of Sulfoxides with Borane-Triphenyl Borate (1 : 0.1) System (보란-붕산트리페닐 (1 : 0.1) 계에 의한 술폭시화물의 신속한 탈산소화반응에 관한 연구)

  • The presence of 10 mole percent triphenyl borate accelerated dramatically the rate of reduction of structurally different sulfoxides with borane in tetrahydrofuran at room temperature, compared to the slow reduction with borane itself. Tetramethylene sulfoxide underwent complete reduction in 5 min and diethyl sulfoxide, dibenzyl sulfoxide and benzylphenyl sulfoxide were reduced quantitatively within 1h, whereas the reduction of diphenyl sulfoxide was rather slow, giving diphenyl sulfide in 90% yield in 24h. Boron trifluoride etherate and triethyl borate were less effective than triphenyl borate. A possible mechanism is presented.
