Evolution of Entertainment Program Format (방송 예능프로그램 포맷의 진화)

  • One of the most notable changes in entertainment programs has been the gamification since 1991. The comparative analysis of 255 weekend entertainment programs run by terrestrial broadcasters between 1991 and 1998 and between 2008 and 2014 indicates that entertainment programs have emigrated from the variety format to the reality, and that adopted entangled plots than interwoven ones more and more, using mission performances and competition heavily. Further, even within the reality format, different competitive factors and plot composition are adding the diversity in the end results immensely. The interaction among the gamification, plots and competitive factors is quite likely to drive creative changes in the broadcast formats in the years to come.

  • 게임서사 안에서 플레이어들은 진정한 영웅을 꿈꾼다. 수십 만명의 동시접속자들이 종횡무진 행동하는 게임 월드에서 조연을 꿈꾸면서, 수십, 수천시간씩 플레이하는 단 한 사람도 없다. 선형적인 소설이나 영화에서 여러명의 주인공을 두고 각각의 주인공이 주도하는 서사를 멀티플롯(Multi-plot)으로 풀어 낼 수는 있을지 몰라도 각각의 에피소드들은 차례대로 주어질 수밖에 없으며, 주인공과 플롯의 수도 미디어의 특성상 제한적일 수 밖에 없다. 게임의 서사를 기존의 소설이나 영화를 통해 구현할 수 있는 멀티플롯과 구분해 '다변수적'이라고 표현하는 이유가 바로 여기에 있다.

  • The analysis of data about the 6-year-old Korean pine plantation was done in order to decide the suitable plot size for the survey on several stand characters. The plot size of at least 0.04 ha was recommendable for the investigation of height; but the size of 0.08 ha for D.B.H. and for crown width.

  • 서울남부지방법원 2012나4904 손해배상 판결판결은 일반적인 어문저작물 표절과 달리 포괄적 비문언적 유사성을 인정받은 사건이다. 실질적 유사성에서 포괄적 비문언적 유사성의 분석을 (1) 등장인물, (2) 줄거리와 플롯, (3) 에피소드 별로 분석하여 표절임을 인정하고 있다. 창작물을 구성하는 사건과 그 배열 형태를 가리키는 플롯은 소설의 창작 요소 중 매우 중요한 부분임에도 표절의 판정에서 거의 고려되지 않아왔다. 본 사건은 특히 이종 장르 간의 플롯을 표절한 경우 법원이 어떻게 판결을 내렸는가에 대한 중요한 자료로 검토할 가치를 지니고 있다.

  • Data on the spatial distribution of a plant population among administrative areas is useful for various purposes. In this study, I analyzed the spatial distribution of the geographical distances of Carex siderosticta at Mt. Geumjeong and Mt. Ahop in Korea. The aim was to test a spatial structure within two populations of C. siderosticta. Most natural plots of C. siderosticta are not uniformly distributed in the forest community; for example, uniform plots were aggregately distributed within a space of 6.0 m $\times$ 6.0 m. When the sampling plots were larger than 6.0 m $\times$ 12.0 m, the individuals of C. siderosticta were aggregately distributed. The neighboring patches of C. siderosticta were predominantly 7.5 m to 9.0 m apart, on average; however, if the natural populations were disturbed by human activities, the aggregation occurred in shorter distances than a scale of 9.0 m. Moran's I of C. siderosticta significantly differed from the expected value in only 16 of 40 cases (40%). In conclusion, the geographical distribution of C. siderosticta is not even, with varying degrees of size in the plots, while human activities give rise to density effects in the plots at both Mt. Geumjeong and Mt. Ahop in Korea.

Spatial Distribution Pattern of the Populations of Cephalanthera erecta at Mt. Ahop in Busan (부산시 아홉산의 은난초 집단의 공간적 분포 양상)

  • Cephalanthera erecta (Thunb. ex, Murray) is an herbaceous and a member of the genus Cephalanthera in the family Orchidaceae. The species is an herbaceous and has reputed Chinese medicinal value. It has been investigated the population density and spatial distribution of this species at Mt. Ahop in Korea during 2015. The spatial pattern of C. erecta was analyzed according to several patchiness indexes, population uniformity or aggregation under different sizes of plots by dispersion indices, and spatial autocorrelation. The mean crowding (M*) and patchiness index (PAI) showed positive values except one small plot (2 m × 2 m). Most natural individuals of C. erecta for plots were not uniformly distributed in the forest community. The small plots (2 m × 2 m, to 8 m × 16 m) of C. erecta were uniformly distributed in the forest community and large plots (16 m × 16 m and 16 m × 32 m) were aggregately distributed. Significant aggregations by Moran's I of C. erecta were partially observed within IV classes (12 m). Dissimilarity among pairs of individuals could found by more than 18.0 m. In conclusion, the geographic distribution of C. erecta is not even with varying degrees of size of plots and human activities give rise to density effects in the plots at Mt. Ahop in Korea.

  • Visualization of the gene expression data on a low-dimensional graph is helpful in uncovering biological information contained in the data. In this study, we focus on two modified versions of the parallel coordinate plot. First one is the ePCP(enhanced parallel coordinate plot) which shows "near smooth" connecting curves between axes spaced proportionately to the proximity of re-ordered variables. Second one is APCP(Andrews' type parallel coordinate plot) which is obtained by rotating Andrews' plot that has a form of the parallel coordinate plot. Visualization procdures using ePCP and APCP are given for the lymphoma data case.

  • Software Reliability Growth Model that have been studied variously. But measurement of correct parameter of this model is not easy. Specially, estimation of correct model about failure data must be establish and estimation of parameter can consist exactly. To get correct testing, we calculate the normal score and describe the normal probability plot. Use the normal probability plot, we estimate the distribution for failure data. In this paper, we estimate the software reliability growth model for through the normal probability plot. In this research, we applies software reliability growth model through distribution characteristics of failure data. If we see plot, we determine the software reliability growth model, we can make sure superior in model's performance estimation.
