Efficient Message Relaying Scheme for Heterogeneous Platoons (혼성플래툰을 위한 효율적 메시지 중계 기법)

  • In heterogeneous platoons, consisting of various size of vehicles, the signal from/to a small-size vehicle may be blocked by adjacent large-size ones. In this case, some vehicles in between the source and the destination should relay the messages. We design an efficient message relaying scheme for these platoons and evaluate its performance, taking the linear topology of platoons into account.

  • 비휘발성 메모리인 플래시 메모리는 가볍고, 전력 소비가 적으며, 충격에 대한 저항이 강한 특징이 있다. 그러나 플래시 메모리는 세그먼트당 삭제 횟수가 최악의 경우 10만 번 정도로 제한된다는 단점이 있어서, 만약 삭제가 특정 세그먼트에 집중된다면 전체 수명이 단축되게 된다. 하지만, 플래시 메모리의 모든 세그먼트가 골고루 사용된다면 수명을 연장시킬 수 있다. 이를 위해 저장되는 자료의 유형을 파악하여 Hot, Cold 그리고 Lukewarm 이라는 그룹별로 분리해서 관리한다. 단순한 분리는 사용 횟수의 양극화를 가져오지만, 양극화된 세그먼트에 반대 유형의 자료를 할당하고 관리하면 전체 세그먼트의 사용률을 균등하게 할 수 있다. 이를 위해, 쓰기와 클리닝 작업 외에 양극화의 패턴을 통해 유형을 결정해주는 루틴을 포함하였다.

  • 논문에서는 프레임릴레이 프로토콜을 사용하는 암호 통신 시스템에 적합한 키 스트림 동기 방식을 제안하였다. 제안된 주소영역의 확장 비트를 이용한 키 스트림 동기 방식은 단위 측정 시간 동안 측정된 프레임릴레이 프로토콜의 주소영역의 확장 비트 정보와 플래그 패턴의 수신률을 이용하여 문턱값보다 적은 경우에 동기 신호와 세션 키를 전송하므로써 종래의 주기적인 동기 방식에서 전송 효율성 저하와 주기적인 상이한 세션 키 발생, 다음 주김까지 동기 이탈 상태로 인한 오류 확산 등의 단점을 해결하였다. 제안된 알고리즘을 데이터 링크 계층의 처리기능을 최소화하여 패킷 망의 고속화가 가능하도록 설계된 프레임릴레이 프로토콜에서 서비스되는 동기식 스트림 암호 통신 시스템에 적용하여 slip rate $10^{-7}$의 환경에서 주기가 Isec인 주기적인 동기 방식에서 요구되는 9.6*10/ sup 6/비트에 비해 6.4*$10^{5}$비트가 소요됨으로써 전송율 측면에서의 성능 향상과 오복호율과 오복호율과 오복호 데이터 비트 측면에서 성능 향상을 얻었다.다.

  • 본 논문에서는 Yolov5와 Deepsort를 사용한 Tracking by detection을 구현하여 특정 영역을 통과하는 차량의 수를 집계하고, 각 차량의 추정속도를 계산하는 시스템을 구현한다. 실시간 객체 탐지 기능을 수행하는 Yolov5 모델의 학습에는 Kaggle의 개방 데이터인 '도요타 자동차 이미지'를 사용한다. 이미지 크기 640*640, 배치사이즈 16, Early stopping 플래그를 사용하여 학습했을때, Yolov5의 객체 탐지 성능은 정확도 98%, 정밀도 0.961, mAP 0.72을 보여주었다.

  • 2003년은 웹디자이너를 포함한 웹관련 종사자들에게 그리 큰 뉴스가 없었던 한해였지만, 플래시MX2004가 발표된 해였다는 점은 여러 사람들의 기억에 남아 있을 것이다. 발표된 지 반년이 지난 시점에서 플래시 MX2004의 발전된 기능들을 다시금 살펴보는 시간을 마련했다. 또한 4월호에 소개했던 X인터넷의 새로운 다크호스로서의 플래시에 대한 이야기도 계속 짚어보도록 하겠다.

Effective Index and Backup Techniques for HLR System in Mobile Networks (이동통신 HLR 시스템에서의 효과적인 색인 및 백업 기법)

  • A Home Location Register(HLR) database system manages each subscriber's location information, which continuously changes in a cellular network. For this purpose, the HLR database system provides table management, index management, and backup management facilities. In this thesis, we propose using a two-level index method for the mobile directory number(MDN) as a suitable method and a chained bucket hashing method for the electronic serial number(ESN). Both the MDN and the ESN are used as keys in the HLR database system. We also propose an efficient backup method that takes into account the characteristics of HLR database transactions. The retrieval speed and the memory usage of the two-level index method are better than those of the R-tree index method. The insertion and deletion overhead of the chained bucket hashing method is less than that of the modified linear hashing method. In the proposed backup method, we use two kinds of dirty flags in order to solve the performance degradation problem caused by frequent registration-location operations. For a million subscribers, proposed techniques support reduction of memory size(more than 62%), directory operations (2500,000 times), and backup operations(more than 80%) compared with current techniques.

  • Recently, the target of navigation system is moving from the cars to pedestrians. Many researches are in progress regarding pedestrian navigation, However, in most cases, the path-finding is based on the existing node/link network model. which is widely used for the car navigation, and thus showing its limitation. The reasons arc that a) unlike with a car, the paths that pedestrians take arc not limited to the roads, b) pedestrians an~ not restricted in rotation or direction, and c) they can freely move within the walkable space. No alternatives have been offered yet, especially for openspaces such as a park or square. Therefore, in this research, we suggested appropriate methods to create paths that can be used in pedestrian navigation service, by using motion-planning technology, which is used in the field of robotics for planning the motion of an object, and conducted tests for their applicability.

  • The purpose of construction project management is to achieve planned quality by adequate cost and schedule of the project, thus the effective time management is a critical factor to actualize the object. But the traditional time management by using milestone has several limitations which are not sufficiently considered mutual relation and variated from the task. On this wise, applying the concept and principles of lean construction to the project will be the best way not only reduce waste and variation, but also improve the productivity and ability to overcome limitation as mentioned above. Thus the study, Last Planner System, specially focuses on constraint analysis which is used in lookahead planning system. The results of this research will provide the constraints classification that is able to improve work reliable and percent plan complete when time planning by controlling constraints of project.

  • As a society of knowledge and information has been developed rapidly, because of changing from web environment to ubiquitous environment, a lot of countries across the world as well as S. Korea for national information with electronic Government have a variety of changes with big data. So this study is about development for national information and e-government of S. Korea with public data as big data analysed by the application of scenario planning. And then this research focused on the strategy consulting of national information with e-Government of S. Korea for utilization of public data as big data analysed by the application of 'scenario planning' as a foresight method. As a result, the future policy for utilization of public data as big data for national information with electronic government of S. Korea is to further spur the development of technology for linked data with semantic web for 'understanding of machine' than 'understanding of man'.

Development of a Pulse Light System for Treating Skin Pigmentation (피부의 색소치료를 위한 펄스 광 시스템의 개발)

  • In this study the skin care system was designed and tested by introducing V-IPL(Variable-Intense Pulse Light) methods that allow various skin treatments. The discharge method, a new method of switching on the flash lamp sequentially according to the lesions, was used. Pulse shape control is implemented in the system using the conventional LC variable method and the switching method control method of the switching element. As a result, the pulse width could be varied up to 1[㎛] by using a microprocessor, and by turning on the flash lamp sequentially along the lesions the depth and width, the pulse shape and pulse shape could be more diverse. We could also make long pulses of up to 1~100[ms] in various pulse width. And the special differences between the existing system and the proposed system in this study are as follow. Existing system is one pulse(pulse width : 1~40ms) and proposed system is three pulse(pulse width : 1~100ms).
