The Analyses of Gaps in Reliability and Quality Performance among the Levels of Supply Chain Orientation of Korean Foreign Direct Investment Firms (한국 해외직접투자기업의 공급사슬지향성의 수준에 따른 신뢰성과 품질 성과의 차이분석)

  • Korean foreign direct investment (FDI) firms procure cheap raw materials, produce goods in developing countries featuring low rent and labor costs, and sell goods in world market. In this regard, global supply chain management is important to Korean FDI firms. The objective of this study is to analyze gaps in the performance of reliability and quality of supply chain orientations. To achieve this objective, this study confirms theoretical relationships between variables through prior research, selects measuring variables, and analyzes data collected from Korean FDI firms. Results are as follows; First, there is a gap in reliability performance among the levels of supply chain orientation. Managers should check the level of their supply chain orientation and make strategic and structural efforts to improve reliability performance. Second, there is a gap in quality performance among the levels of supply chain orientation. To improve quality performance, managers should identify the level of their supply chain orientation. In addition, managers can enhance quality performance on the basis of strategic and structural efforts.

  • Recently, the concern on the receipt of poor ready-mixed concrete in the construction field and the durability of concrete has been increased. Based on the such background, a large number of measuring methods of water content for fresh concrete have been developed and enforced in a developed country. In this study, to investigate practicality for quality control of ready-mixed concrete among various water content measurement techniques, microwave range method, air meter method and capacitance measurement method as measuring methods of water content were selected. Then, it was evaluated estimating performance of water content according to the change of binder types, fine aggregate types, absorption ratio, water content and water-binder ratio in series I and II. Also, it was examined influence on error occurrence of water content according to change of properties of used materials in series III. Finally, based on this study, it was proposed fundamental data to utilize measurement technique of water content to quality control of ready-mixed concrete in construction field.

The Study for Establishment of Protocol with Quality Assurance (QA) of Hyperthermia Cancer Therapy System in Korea (국내 온열 암 치료 시스템의 품질관리 프로토콜 확립에 대한 연구)

  • Quality Assurance (QA) is essential to provide effective hyperthermia, but in the case of a problem with a hyperthermia cancer therapy system in Korea, the manufacturers or venders are repairing and maintaining the system. In Korea, if an error occurs in the hyperthermia system, the manufacturer and sales agent are repairing and maintaining it. There is no QA protocol suitable for the domestic situation. This study is based on the QA guidelines recommended by institutions such as European Society for Hyperthermia Oncology (ESHO), Hellenic Society of Oncologic Hyperthermia (HSOH), and the results of questionnaires to hospitals that have hyperthermia cancer therapy systems in Korea. By developing an optimized QA protocol, we aim to reduce the errors and inaccuracies that can occur in during hyperthermia such as measurement of temperature, instrumentation, and heat transfer. In addition, we will visit a hospital with a hyperthermia cancer therapy system in Korea to perform a QA based on this study, and study to specify tolerances and accurate QA set-up parameters using the measured QA results.

Development of a Precision Management System for Quality Control of Progressive die (프로그레시브 금형의 품질관리를 위한 정도관리 시스템 개발)

  • The surface management of metals was performed with a tool microscope or surface roughness measurement instruments. These methods were not efficient for checking the surface status of the die in the production field. For this reason, an analysis system or measurement system to monitor the wear, defects and surface status as a die ages is required. This study, developed surface analysis software for automatic analysis and standardization of a die or processed products. Software was designed to measure the basic features, such as circles, dots, and lines. The captured images were rendered as three-dimensional representations so that the depth of the grooves on the die and segmental profiles could be estimated. As a result of experimental analysis, the surface roughness was measured with an accuracy more than 93.2%, and the maximum deviation in the surface roughness for the brightness of the lighting was within $3{\mu}m$. The confidence in the device's precision was assured. These results show quality control through efficient surface analysis.

  • 소프트웨어 산업 사회에서 프로젝트의 품질과 생산성을 높이는 문제에 대한 여러 가지 방안들을 제시하고 있으며, 컴포넌트 기반 개발 프로세스 역시 생산성 향상에 대한 가능성을 제시하고 있다. 하지만 고객 니즈에 맞는 고품질의 프로젝트를 수행하기 위해서는 체계적인 관리 프로세스가 필요하며 더욱이 컴포넌트 호환 및 상호 운용에 대한 문제점을 해결하기 위한 많은 노력이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제점들을 해결하기 위한 노력들 중의 하나로 Six Sigma와 OMG의 MDA(Model Driven Architecture) 기술을 이용하여 특정 도메인의 모델 변환(Model Transformation) 구조를 구현하고, 최적화된 Six Sigma관리 프로세스를 적용한 실제 사례를 통하여 프로젝트의 품질과 생산성 망상에 대한 결과를 측정하여 그 효과에 대해서 검증하였다.

Insulation Effect of Double Layered Bubble Sheet Application in Cold Weather Concrete and Initial Quality Control by Wireless Sensor Network (한중시공에서 2중 버블시트 포설에 따른 단열 효과분석 및 무선센서 네트워크에 의한 초기 품질관리)

  • The objective of this study is to evaluate the effect of the application of double layered bubble sheet on the curing of slab and wall concrete placed at the job site in cold weather and to offer a feasibility of Concrete IoT Management System(CIMS), which is wireless sensor network developed by the authors, to manage early age quality of the concrete in terms of temperature, maturity and strength development. Test results indicated that the application of bubble sheet enhances the insulation performance, which results in an increase of the temperature by around 1~20. 6℃. It is found that CIMS can gather the temperature, maturity and strength development data from the sensors embedded from 30 m far from CIMS successfully. Predicted compressive strengths by CIMS had good agreement with measured ones within 2 MPa error level until 7 days. It is thought that the combination of the bubble sheet application for cold weather protection and CIMS for quality management tool in cold weather concreting contributes to shorten the time for the form removal by one day.

  • We have developed standards based on international criterions for the quality control of dose tested by the measurement institutions of individual exposure doses through improving the reliability of data on the exposure dose of individuals working in radioactive environment and securing the accuracy and reliability of individual dose measurements. Laws related to radiation dose applied to domestic institutions refer to ANSI N13.11.1993, but currently, in U.S. and some other countries the measurement of radiation doses is based on ANSI N13.11.2001 that reduced test categories and tightened the standards. We made efforts to simplify the standards and to reduce the number of dosimeters required in experiment, and avoided preventing or hindering the use of future technologies not approved under the current law such as glass dosimeter and optical stimulation dosimeter. The Quality Management Manual of Radiation Dosimetry Service, Assessment Manual of Radiation Dosimetry Service Accreditation Program, and the Personnel Dosimetry Performance. Criteria for Testing are documents applicable in supervising laboratories.

  • The concern and request of high-quality software has been increased according to the rapid transition of society to information-oriented era. Therefore activities of software quality management are regarded as serious as the activities of software development. Moreover, stakeholder of software may have various views of software quality. And some quality characteristics need to be managed with priorities in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Hence we recognized that weights of quality characteristics might be useful to improve efficiency of quality management activities. However, this topic has not actively issued because its necessity and effectiveness has been ignored. This paper presents a technique to decide weights of software quality characteristics in SDLC. It is based on ISO/IEC 9126 which is the standard for software product quality. It is accomplished by questionnaires intended for stakeholder in software development and weight analysis through AHP (Analytic Hierarchical Process) method. Accordingly, it can select quality characteristics by weight in SDLC. And then it helps us to acquire high duality software through measuring software quality quantitatively and expecting the quality after completion of software development.

키오스크 사용자 중심 서비스개선 우선순위 연구

  • 최근 다양한 산업에서 키오스크를 활용한 서비스가 확대되고 있으며 현대증권의 보고서에 따르면 세계적으로 키오스크 시장이 2021년도 까지 연평균 17%의 성장률을 기록할 것이라고 전망되어진다. 이와 같은 배경에서 국내에서도 키오스크 제조, 관리업이 늘어나고 있으며 창의적인 기술력을 바탕으로 차별성을 둔 스타트업들의 진출도 보이고 있다. 하지만, 대부분의 제조, 관리업자들은 1차 소비자인 설치 매장의 관점에서 접근을 하여 서비스 개선을 이루어 내기에 여전히 키오스크를 실제 사용하는 소비자의 불편 및 불만에 대한 개선은 부족한 실정이며 학계에서도 디자인, UI, 기술수용 등 다양한 방면으로 연구가 진행되고 있지만 현실적인 효과의 확인에는 어려움을 호소하기에 본 연구에서는 실제 소비자의 관점에서 키오스크를 사용함에 있어서 중점을 두는 요인들과 현재 연구가 이루어지고 있는 주제들을 중심으로 핵심 요인 10가지를 추출하여 이를 다시 품질속성 분류와 만족수준 측정을 진행하였다. 본 연구에서는 Kano를 활용하여 품질속성을 분류하고 이 과정에서 모델의 단점으로 인해 발생하는 문제점을 보완하기 위해 추가적으로 Timko를 통해 만족계수와 불만족계수 측정과 PCSI를 통한 현재 만족수준을 확인하여 복합적으로 해석하고 이를 통해 최종적인 서비스개선 순위를 시사하는 방향으로 본 연구를 진행하였다.
