네트워킹 환경에서 만족스러운 멀티미디어 응용 서비스를 제공하기 위해서는 효과적인 미디어 전송 구조가 필요하다. 그러나 인터넷 같은 일반적인 네트워크는 안정적인 멀티미디어 서비스를 위한 보장된 네트워크 대역폭을 제공하지 않는다. 따라서 종단 시스템에서 멀티미디어 서비스를 지원하기 위한 일반적인 방법으로 버퍼를 사용한다. 기존의 제안된 버퍼 관리 기법은 크게 두가지 영역으로 분류된다. 하나는 변화하는 네트워크 환경에 적응하기 위한 기법이고 다른하나는 요구 대역폭을 평활하하는 기법이다. 그러나 전자는 서비스 풉질의 심각한 손실을 일으킬 수 있고 후자는 동적인 네트워크 환경에 적응할 수 없다는 단점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 동적인 네트워크에 적응하며 대역폭 평활화를 통해 더 좋은 서비스 품질을 제공하는 적응성 있는 대역폭 평활화 기법을 제안한다. 또한 저장된 MPEG 비디오를 이용한 실험을 통해 제안된 기법의 사용으로 비디오 전송 품질이 향상됨을 보인다.

Nowadays, with the proliferation of Web services, developer and user can implement a complex application by composing registered Web services. In this trend, the quality of service of a composite Web service is of crucial importance for today's Service Oriented Computing (SOC) environment. But the global optimization of a composite Web service satisfying given QoS is classified to NP-hard problem. To solve this problem, we propose K-way Super node approach and show the effect of it from experimental results.

정보검색(Information retrieval) 및 텍스트 분석을 위해 수집하는 비정형 데이터 즉, 자연어를 전처리하는 과정 중 하나인 불용어(Stopword) 제거는 모델의 품질을 높일 수 있는 쉽고, 효과적인 방법 중에 하나이다. 특히 다양한 텍스트 문서에 잠재된 주제를 추출하는 기법인 토픽모델링의 경우, 너무 오래되거나, 수집된 문서의 도메인이나 성격과 무관한 불용어의 제거로 인해, 해당 토픽 모델에서 학습되어 생성된 주제 관련 단어들의 일관성이 떨어지게 된다. 따라서 분석가가 분류된 주제를 올바르게 해석하는데 있어 많은 어려움이 따르게 된다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위해 일반적으로 사용되는 표준 불용어 대신 관련 도메인 문서로부터 추출되는 점별 상호정보량(PMI: Pointwise Mutual Information)을 이용하여 불용어를 자동으로 생성해주는 기법을 제안한다. 생성된 불용어와 표준 불용어를 통해 토픽 모델의 품질을 혼잡도(Perplexity)로써 측정한 결과, 본 논문에서 제안한 기법으로 생성한 30개의 불용어가 421개의 표준 불용어보다 더 높은 모델 성능을 보였다.

New high-speed rail service, the Korea Train Express(KTX), has been beginning service in Korea. We measured the service quality of the Korea Train Express and comparatively analyzed the service quality of domestic flight and express buses which are means of long distance transportation. Furthermore, by using the Kano model, the perception level of the service of customers is not only segmented in groups but also switching barriers are derived. As a result, the customers by group have a difference in the level of their perception. While in both high-speed bullet train service and flights dimensions significantly affect the customer satisfaction and retention excluding a responsiveness dimension, in the Train Express four dimensions(Reliability, Responsiveness, Assurance, Tangibles) with the exception of Empathy which significantly affect the customer satisfaction and retention.

Kano model distinguishes three types of customer requirements, namely, one-dimensional quality, must-be quality, and attractive quality. There are a few methods for classifying a given customer requirement into one of the Kano's quality elements. However, the existing methods have a common limitation in that they are based on Kano evaluation table. Kano evaluation table is not always effective for the classification task, and suffers from a significant information loss. This paper proposes an alternative to Kano's evaluation table and a new classification scheme based on fuzzy set concept. The proposed method is illustrated using a case study on the ADSL service.

소프트웨어 재사용은 새로운 소프트웨어 개발에 소용되는 시간과 비용을 현저히 감소시켜 소프트웨어 개발환경과 생산성을 향상시키는 방법으로, 소프트웨어 위기를 해결하기 위한 중요한 방법이다. 그러나 소프트웨어 부품을 위한 형식 명세서(formal specification)의 부족, 소프트웨어 재사용에 대한 부정적 심리적인 효과 등의 이유 때문에 현실적으로 재사용이 잘 이루어지고 있지 않다. 이러한 문제들을 해결하기 위해서는 부품의 품질 보증에 관한 연구가 소프트웨어 재사용에 관한 연구 분야에서 최우선적으로 이루어져야 하지만, 기존의 연구들은 일반적으로 설정된 재사용 품질 기준을 표준으로 하였으므로, 사용자의 요구가 복잡하고, 다양화되면서 소프트웨어의 크기, 알고리즘과 구조의 복잡도는 증가있는 변화하는 환경에 능동적으로 대처하지 못하고 있다. 그러므로 본 연구에서는 새로운 부품의 삽입과 기존 부품들의 삭제, 분류 기준의 변경 등의 환경 변화에 능동적으로 대처할 수 있는 적응성이 있는 재사용성 결정 모델을 제안한다. 이 모델은 적응성 있는 재사용 결정 알고리즘을 찾기 위해서 데이터에 숨겨진 패턴들을 발견하는 효율적인 알고 ？遲\ulcorner 제공하는 Rough set 이론을 이용한다.

Almost all companies have paid much attention to the safety management ranging from maintenance to operation even at the stage of designing in order to prevent accidents, but fatal accidents continue to increase throughout the world. In particular, it is essential to systematically prevent such fatal accidents sa fire, explosion or leakage of toxic gas at factories in order to not only protect economic losses and environmental pollution. In addition, HRA may be used to detect the human errors which may cause accidents or trace back to any mistake on the part of workers. This work focuses on the coincidence of human error and mechanical failure for management of human error, and on some important performance shaping factors to propose a method for improving safety effectively of the process industries.

녹색꽃양배추는 이용부위를 기준으로 할 때 화채류로 분류되어 화전을 수확대상으로 하며 화뢰의 발육적온은 15-18℃로, 재배시기가 고온에 가까워지는 초여름부터 초가을 수확의 작형에서는 화뢰형성 불량 등 이상화뢰의 발생이 많아지게 된다(Fujime와 Hirose, 1981). 특히 봄철 노지 재배에서는 15-25℃의 생육적온을 벗어나는 저온과 고온에 조우될 위험성이 크며, 생육초기의 저온과 후기의 고온이 품질저하의 원인이 되므로 (Takuya와 Tugio 1994), 무리한 조기정식을 피하고 가능한 6월 중순 이전에 수확을 마쳐야 한다.
