  • 최근 인터넷 확산과 통신 기술의 발전은 컴퓨터 간의 상호 연결성을 증대시켜 디지털 콘텐츠를 쉽게 전파할 수 있게 되면서 디지털 콘텐츠 수요가 급격히 증가하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 디지털저작권관리 소프트웨어의 분야의 기반 기술을 조사하고 디지털저작권관리 소프트웨어 시장과 표준화 동향을 조사하며 디지털저작권관리 소프트웨어 효율성의 품질평가 메트릭을 개발하였다.

Network Efficient Multi-metric Routing Algorithm for QoS Requiring Application (QoS 응용 서비스를 위한 효율적인 다중 메트릭 라우팅 방안)

  • In this paper, we have studied path selection problem using multiple metric. Current Internet selects a path using only one metric. The path selected by one metric is a best-effort service that can satisfy one requirements. In order to satisfy a call with various Qualify-of-Service(QoS) requirements, the path must satisfy multiple constraints. In many cases, path selection is NP-complete. The proposed algorithm is widest-least cost routing algorithm that selects a path based on cost metric which is basically a delay metric influenced by the network status. The proposed algorithm is a multiple metric path selection algorithm that has traffic distribution ability to select shortest path when network load is light and move traffic to other alternate path when the link load is high. We have compared the results with other routing algorithms.

  • Nowadays, due to the rapidly increasing number of package software products, quality test has been emphasized for package software products. When testing software products, one of the most important factors is to select metrics which form the bases for tests. In this paper, the types of package software are represented as characteristic vectors having probabilistic relationships with metrics. The characteristic vectors could be regarded as indicators of software type. To assign the metrics for each software type, the past test metrics are collected and analyzed. Using Bayesian belief network, the dependency relationship network of the characteristic vectors and metrics is constructed. The dependency relationship network is then used to find the proper metrics for the test of new package software products.

  • Network access control should be able to effectively block security threats to the IT infrastructure, such as unauthorized access of unauthorized users and terminals, and illegal access of employees to internal servers. From this perspective, it is necessary to build metrics based on relevant standards to ensure that security is being met. Therefore, it is necessary to organize the method for security evaluation of NAC according to the related standards. Therefore, this study builds a model that combines the security evaluation part of ISO / IEC 15408 (CC: Common Criteria) and ISO 25000 series to develop security metric of network access control system. For this purpose, we analyzed the quality requirements of the network access control system and developed the convergence evaluation metric for security of the two international standards. It can be applied to standardization of evaluation method for network access control system in the future by constructing evaluation model of security quality level of network access control system.

  • 최근 국내 SI 사업체들은 소프트웨어의 가치를 향상시키기 위해 컴포넌트를 적극 도입하고 있다. 그러나 컴포넌트 시장을 활성화 시키기 위해서는 다양한 범주의 고객이 요구하는 양질의 컴포넌트를 풍부하게 갖추고, 고객이 시스템을 직접 개발하는 것보다 적은 비용과 시간을 소모하면서도 시스템을 구축할 수는 환경을 조성해야 한다. 그러한 환경을 구축하기 위한 요소중 고객의 구매 결정과 직결되는 가장 중요한 항목은 컴포넌트의 기술적 가치와 비즈니스적 가치의 평가와 이를 위한 시험 기준이다. 객관적이고 공정한 시험 기준이 마련되지 않는 상태에서 품질 평가가 이루어 지지 못한다면, 잠재적 고객이 구매 또는 사용하고자 하는 컴포넌트가 적절한 가치를 갖고 있는 것인지 판단할 수 있는 근거가 없고 시장 형성 초기부터 불량 컴포넌트 제품이 공급됨으로 인해 신뢰성이 저하되어 컴포넌트를 구매하는 대신 다른 대안을 선택하려 할 것이다. 객관적이고, 유력한 품질 평가 시스템을 구축하기 위해서는 품질 시험 평가를 위한 기준 마련이 선결 조건이다. 품질 시험 평가 가이드라인은 고품질의 소프트웨어 컴포넌트의 생산을 가능하게 하여, 궁극적으로 소프트웨어의 신뢰도를 향상 시키는 가장 유력한 방안이 될 것이다. 이를 통해 컴포넌트 소프트웨어의 유통 촉진 및 시장 성장을 견인, 생산/개발-유통-사용에 이르는 전체 컴포넌트 산업의 완결된 서비스를 제공 할 수 있을 것이다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 기준 마련을 위한 메트릭을 제공한다.

  • 소프트웨어 제품의 신뢰성과 안정성 확보를 위한 품질 보증이 중요해짐에 따라 독립된 테스트 조직이 증가되고 이러한 테스트 조직은 효과적 효율적으로 테스트 활동을 수행하기 위해 테스트 프로세스 개선을 필요로 한다. 그러나, 프로세스는 제품의 도메인 특성으로부터 많은 영향을 받아 특화되므로 실시간(Time to Market) 서비스가 강조되는 웹 서비스 시스템에서의 테스트 프로세스에 대한 연구가 부족하므로 테스트 조직 향상을 위한 방향 모델과 이를 이행할 수 있는 접근 방법을 필요로 한다. 본 연구에서는 웹 서비스 제품의 품질을 보증하기 위해 검증 작업을 수행하고 있는 테스트 조직이 향상되기 위한 방안으로 TMM을 적용하였고, 성숙된 프로세스 구축을 위한 방법으로 GQM을 이용하여 메트릭을 도출한 사례를 제시하였다. 이런 연구결과는 도메인 특성에 맞게 도출된 매트릭을 통해 제품과 테스터의 능력을 평가하고 결과 값을 프로세스 개선에 반영하여 정량적인 데이터 기반으로 관리되는 테스트 조직으로 발전할 수 있을 것이다.

  • Software is developing toward having more large scale and many functions day by day. Also, user’s requirements level for software is being high, especially, requirements for software quality is being high continuously. Methods which can satisfy such User’s requirements is being studied in various viewpoint. First of all, study about quality evaluation system and methodology is energetically in progress in viewpoint to improve quality of software by feed-back software quality evaluation result to developers. In this paper, we define metrics according to a system and developed quality measurement tables according to internal characteristics system of quality characteristics, subcharacteritics, internal characteristics for reliability between quality characteristics of international standard, ISO/IEC 9126 about software quality. And we propose evaluation results about development products using internal characteristics.

  • Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) is emerging as an effective approach for developing applications by dynamically discovering and composing reusable services. Generally, the benefits of SOA are known as low-development cost, high agility, high scalability, business level reuse, etc. However, a representative problem for widely applying SOA is the performance problem. This is caused by the nature of SOA such as service deployment and execution in distributed environment, heterogeneity of service platforms, use of a standard message format, etc. Therefore, performance problem has to be overcome to effectively apply SOA, and service performance has to be measured precisely to analyze where and why the problem has occurred. Prerequisite for this is a definition of a quality model to effectively measure service performance. However, current works on service performance lacks in defining a practical and precise quality model for measuring performance which adequately addresses the execution environment and features of SOA. Hence, in this paper, we define a quality model which includes a set of practical metrics for measuring service performance and an effective technique to measure the value of the proposed metrics. In addition, we apply the metrics for Hotel Reservation Service System (HRSS) to show the practicability and usefulness of the proposed metrics.

  • Depending on the increase amongst various cloud services, the technology of the Cloud Service Broker (CSB) to find the most appropriate services to meet the needs of cloud service consumers has emerged. In order to advance for cloud services to be used through the CSB, it is important to ensure the quality level that meets the demands of consumers through a negotiation process based on the Service Level Agreement (SLA). However, quality metrics of cloud services are different from each other based on the measurement scale, which represents the quality level, and the calculation for each type of cloud services. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze the variability of the quality of cloud services and establish a SLA model for ensuring and improving the level of quality. In this paper, we analyze the quality metrics for the specific type of cloud services by applying the cross-cutting concept and propose a Virtual SLA (VSLA) meta-model.

Quality Metric with Video Characteristics on Scalable Video Coding (영상 특성을 고려한 스케일러블 비디오 기반 품질 메트릭)

  • In this paper, we proposed the qualify metric based on SVC and the subjective quality. The proposed quality metric is for a general purpose. It means we can use it for any video sequences regardless of its temporal and spatial characteristics. The Quality of Service(QoS) is one of the important issues in heterogeneous environment which has diverse restrictions such as limited network bandwidth and limited display resolution. Scalable Video Coding(SVC) is the efficient video coding skill in heterogeneous environment. Because SVC can be adapted to various quality bitstreams using three scalabilities(spatial, temporal, and SNR) from one bitstream which has full scalability. To maximize the QoS in this environment, we should consider the subjective quality which is the viewer response. And also we should consider temporal and spatial characteristics of video sequence because the subjective quality is affected by temporal and spatial characteristics of video sequence. To verify the efficiency of the proposed method, we perform subjective assessments. The experimental results show that the proposed method has high correlation with subjective quality. The proposed method can be a decision tool of SVC birstream extraction.
