정보가시화는 정보를 기하학적으로 표현하는 연구 분야로 정량적 정보를 테이블, 도표 등의 형태로 표현하는 정량 정보 가시화와 그래프나 네트워크와 같은 구조적 자료를 기하학적으로 표현하는 graph visualization이 있다. 본 연구에서는 그래프 기반의 정보 가시화를 이용한 회의 정보 가시화 프로그램을 소개하고자 한다. 이는 연구개발이나, 프로젝트 관리, 브레인스토밍 등의 회의에 있어서 태스크, 자원, 일정, 문서 등으로 구성되는 회의정보를 대상으로 한다. 최초 정보 생성, 정보 수정, 정보 가시화 기능을 갖고 있으며 그래프 자동 배치 모듈, 가시화 모듈, 사용자 인터페이스 모듈 등으로 구성되어 있다. 그래프 자동 배치는 오픈 소스로 제공되는 GraphViz를 사용하였고, 가시화는 OpenGL을 이용하였다. 회의 정보들 사이의 복잡한 관계를 그래프 구조로 표현하여 업무와 자원의 분배, 관련된 문서 검색을 쉽게 하여 회의 정보를 직관적이고, 빠르고 쉽게 조작하고, 이해하는데 유용하다.

Present study identified categorization pattern differences between experts and novices and examined whether categorization training has positive effects on problem solving. In experiment I, we examined categorization differences between groups according to expertise using mathematical equation problems. Experts classified problems based on deep structure related to problem solution methods whereas novices classified problems based on surface features. However, in the labeled categorization condition, novices' categorization pattern was not different from experts'. These results suggest that novices have difficulty identifying deep structure of problems. In experiment 2, we examined whether categorization training showing subjects deep structure of problems explicitly increases transfer performance. The results showed that solution training was more effective to expert group whereas categorization training was more effective to novice group. We have discussed that different training methods should be applied according to expertise.

Modern figurative work is designed to have more creativity and characteristic traits by pure thought of the formative ceramic arts. In compliance with the demand which is various the design development could be satisfied an individuality and a taste is become accomplished. In this view, this study looks over expressive aspect of Cubism to present partition as a independent formative ceramic arts is able to contribute emotionally to our whole lives. In this procedure, this work is produced to express a three-dimensional effect and a spatial effect, approaching a figurative side. This is to overcome the limitation of Cubism art expressed in a two-dimensional surface in spite of its multi-dimensional observation of a given object. Accordingly, this study tries approaching pre-understanding of expressive aspect of Cubism which was the important turning-point in 20c art and expansion of the modern ceramic art field before producing the work. This study shows the possibility to become a creative and practical ceramic art work, approaching the new point of view breaking from the established conception. Consequently, the field of ceramic art could be expanded to a part of modern ceramic art as an object of study in art of life.

The purpose of this paper is to examine website information as well as promotional texts comparing source texts of Korean with translated versions of English, and drew characteristics of tourism texts from a discourse and communicative perspective. This study shows that the website or promotional texts is the first source of information in tourism, which is most referred to by the in-bound tourists, and the information given by the official homepage is most trustful content of Korean tourism. With comparison of source text of Korean with the translated English version, this paper shows that Korean source texts have a tendency to prefer the longer explication and more detailed information on the scenic spots and attractions than the English translations. When it is translated into English, the translated version does not follow the literal way of translation, and is segmented for reader's understanding and adapted following the target language's communicative conventions and the target culture. Consequently, this study supports the adaption in tourism promotional English translation, and ensures that the communicative constraints of tourism, that is, politeness and Grician maxims are preserved even in the written form of communication, translation.

하천 내에서 하상변동은 치수나 생태계에 직간접적인 영향을 끼치는 것으로 알려져 있다. 하상변동의 예측을 위한 여러 가지 모델들이 존재하지만 하상변동의 양상을 직관적으로 파악하기에는 어려움이 있다. 최근 수행된 연구결과에 따르면 하천의 수리 기하학적 형상이 부유사 농도와 유량과의 관계와 관련이 있는 것으로 밝혀졌다(Kim et al., 2018). 본 연구에서는 하상변동과 부유사의 농도를 밀접한 관련이 있다고 가정하여 수리기하(Hydraulic Geometry) 이론을 이용하여 하상변동의 경향성을 표현하여 하상변동의 경향성을 직관적으로 유추할 수 있는 기법을 제시하고자 한다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 하상변동을 수리기하적표현을 이용하여 해석적으로 제시하였고 수치모의를 실시하였으며 실제 자연하천에 대해 검증을 수행하였다. 수치모의는 자연에 존재할 수 있는 다양한 하천형상을 표현하기 위해 수리기하 이론에서의 수심과 폭을 나타내는 인자들을 이용하여 하천의 형상을 넓고 얕은 하천, 좁고 깊은 하천, 중간 정도의 하천으로 분류하였으며 흐름조건을 정상류와 부정류조건으로 분류하였다. 또한 하상경사와 하상재료의 입경분포를 고려하였다. 그리고 실제 하천에 대한 검증은 대한민국에 존재하는 갑천, 미호천, 남강, 임진강, 원주천, 금호강의 하상변동 자료를 이용하여 실시하였다. 하상변동의 경향성을 직관적으로 표현하기 위해 Manning 공식을 이용하여 하상전단력의 수리기하 지수를 수심, 유속, 조도계수의 수리기하지수들로 표현하였다.

이 글은 최근 인지언어학에서 기본적인 핵심이론 중의 하나로 자리잡고 있는 '정신공간 이론'(mental space theory)에 대한 이론적인 소개와 함께 의미구성에 있어서 중요한 개념의 하나인 '사상'(mappings)의 문제를 다루고자 한다. 1994년 이후 Fauconnier와 Fauconnier & Turner 등을 중심으로 진행되어 오고 있는 정신공간 이론에서는, 언어의 의미를 궁극적으로 인지적 공간들 사이의 상호관계가 언어로 '투사'(projection)된 것으로 간주한다. 그리고 기존의 근원영역과 목표영역 사이의 직접적이고 체계적인 사상, 이른바 '두 영역 모델'의 대안으로 '다공간 모델'을 제시하고 있다. 다공간 모델 속에는 '포괄공간'(generic space)과 '혼합공간'(blending space)이 설정되는데, 그 중에서 포괄공간은 근원공간과 목표공간의 모든 개념이나 추상적인 도식 등이 반영되어 있는 반면, 혼합공간은 실제의 다양한 개념적 혼합의 결과로 나타나며, 입력된 공간에서 나타나는 상응되는 부분들 사이의 연결을 활용하고 발전시키기 때문에 그 자체가 또 다른 혼합공간의 입력공간에서 일어나는 개념적 사상의 양상은 매우 다양할 뿐만 아니라 의미구성에 있어서도 중요한 역할을 한다. 이 글에서는 합성어와 같은 어휘적 측면은 물론, 일상의 문장 표현을 통해 나타나는 개념적 사상의 다양한 양상을 고찰하고자 한다.

20세기 후반 예술의 전반적인 흐름이 미적 다원주의와 해체주의를 지향하게 되자 패션에서도 이러한 시대적 조류의 현상으로 잔인하고 혐오스러우며 끔찍한 추의 미가 표현되었다. 본 연구는 현대 패션에서 나타나고 있는 잔혹한 이미지에 초점을 맞추며 이와 같은 양상이 발생하게 되는 원인을 줄리아 크리스테바의 이론과 적용시켜 고찰하였다.

This article inspected 16 game rating systems in the world to find out the trends of those. Mainly the perspective of freedom of expression is used to find out the implications of the trends. As the position of game becomes higher, the increase of game specialty rating institutions, the augmentation of self regulations rating institutions, the enlargement of freedom of expression in the area of game are revealed as trends. These trends are in the natural order of events that match with the development of game. We could know that rapid change and innovation is much needed.

은유와 환유에 의해 생성된 문장들은 합성성의 원칙(compositionality principle)에 맞지 않기 때문에 전통적인 언어학에서 많이 다루어지지 않았다. 그러나, Lakoff(Lakoff & Johnson 1980; Lakoff 1987, 1993)와 그의 동료들에 의해서 은유에 대한 인지언어학적인 접근이 시도되면서 활발히 연구되기 시작했다. 그들에 의하면 인간의 일상언어의 많은 표현들이 은유에 의해서 생성되며, 인간의 인지체계가 개념적 은유 (conceptual metaphor)로 이루어져 있다고 주장한다. 본 논문은 화(anger)의 감정을 나타내기 위한 한국어 표현들을 분석하여 인간의 인지체계의 은유적인 양상을 밝혀보고자 한다.

본 연구에서는 자동차 TV광고에서 나타나는 섹슈얼리티의 의미화를 영상기호학적 시각에서 연구하는데 그 목표가 있다. 이를 위해서 페미니즘적 비평을 소개하고, '아네트 쿤(Annette Kuhn)'이 제시한 섹슈얼리티 표현의 구조를 파악하였다. 연구는 국내 자동차TV광고 자료 188편을 대상으로 하였다. 이 중 아네트 쿤의 섹슈얼리티 구조적 특징을 가지고 있는 45편의 광고를 선정하였고, 분석한 결과는 각 구조별로 체계적으로 제시하였다. TV광고의 섹슈얼리티 영상기호 분석이 갖는 의미는 다음과 같이 정리될 수 있다. 대중의 시선을 확보하기 위해 성적표현의 비중이 점차 높아지고 있는 상황에서 다분히 주관적 일수 있는 섹슈얼리티를 기호학에 근거를 두고 설명한 아네트 쿤의 연구로 구조화하여 분석함으로써 어느 정도 객관적으로 구체화 할 수 있었다. 또한, 섹슈얼리티와 자동차가 갖는 독특한 관계를 이해한다면 자동차디자인의 기획 단계에서 컨셉 설정에 따른 구체적인 자료로 활용할 수 있을 것이다. 마지막으로 섹슈얼리티 영상기호의 분석은 TV광고의 제작뿐만 아니라 섹슈얼리티를 표현하고자 하는 다른 여러 영상 제작 과정에 있어서도 실제적인 도움을 줄 수 있겠다.
