개체명 인식이란 주어진 문서에서 개체명의 범위를 찾고 개체명을 분류하는 것이다. 최근 많은 연구는 신경망 모델을 이용하며 하나 이상의 단어로 구성된 개체명을 BIO 표기법으로 표현한다. BIO 표기법은 개체명이 시작되는 단어의 표지에 B(Beginning)-를 붙이고, 개체명에 포함된 그 외의 단어의 표지에는 I(Inside)-를 붙이며, 개체명과 개체명 사이의 모든 단어의 표지를 O로 간주하는 방법이다. BIO 표기법으로 표현된 말뭉치는 O 표지가 90% 이상을 차지하므로 O 표지에 대한 혼잡도가 높아지는 문제와 불균형 학습 문제가 발생된다. 본 논문에서는 BIO 표기법 대신에 BIT 표기법을 제안한다. BIT 표기법이란 BIO 표기법에서 O 표지를 T(Tag) 표지로 변환하는 방법이며 본 논문에서 T 표지는 품사 표지를 나타낸다. 실험을 통해서 BIT 표기법이 거의 모든 경우에 성능이 향상됨을 확인할 수 있었다.

한국 종합주가지수는 한국증권거래소에 상장된 모든 기업들의 가치 가중치에 의한 포트폴리오의 가격의 시계열이라고 할 수 있다. 따라서 이 지수는 한국 경제의 현재의 활동과 미래의 활동에 대한 예상의 총합의 반영 또는 표상을 표현하는 정보라 할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 시차변수가 독립변수로 도입될 수도 있으며, 시차변수가 아닌 변수가 독립변수로 도입되는 것이 허용되는 회귀모형을 통하여 구조변화의 회수와 구조변환점을 검정할 수 있는 통계량과 이 통계량의 확률분포를 분석하고 한국 종합주가지수에 적용하여 한국 종합주가 지수의 일별수익률에 구조변화가 발생하였는지의 여부와 발생했다면 발생회수와 변환점들을 발견하는데 그 목적이 있다. 한국 종합주가지수의 일별수익률은 분산의 변화 그리고 평균 및 분산의 동시변화가 1997년 9월 27일에 발생하였다. 자기회귀모형에 의할 때 증권시장의 구조변화는 1999년 11월 16일에 이루어졌다. 평균과 분산의 변화가 일어나 구조변화의 단계를 시작하고 구조변화에 알맞는 환경조성에 2년이 소요된 후에 1999년 11월 16일에 구조변화가 정착되었다. 정착이 이루어진 후에야 비로서 이 두 기간은 서로 다른 경제구조와 증권시장구조가 이루어지고 이에 입각하여 시장의 새로운 운동법칙이 전개되고 있다고 할 수 있을 것이다.

기계번역이 인간의 언어 능력을 기계로 구현한다는 점에서 전산학적 성격이 강하다면, 변환 사전은 인간의 어휘부(lexicon) 정보를 그대로 기계에 표상한다는 점에서 언어학적 성격이 강하다. 여기서는 다양한 어휘부 정보 중에서 한영 기계번역에서 필요한 언어학적 정보를 추출하고 이러한 정보를 바탕으로 적절한 동사 대역어 선택을 위한 변환 사전의 모형을 만들어 보고자 하였다. 한영 기계번역에서 적절한 동사 대역어 선택의 어려움은 한국어 동형어 처리 문제와 한국어에서는 포착되지 않지만 영어로 번역하는 과정에서 발생하는 영어 표현의 특수성 때문에 기인한 것으로 볼 수 있다. 이 논문에서는 이러한 문제를 논항과 문법 형태소, 선택제약, 개별 어휘 등의 기초적인 언어학적 개념을 이용한 변환사전을 통해 해결한다. 또한 동사 대역어 선택에 영향을 미치는 이러한 개별적인 요인들은 실제 변환사전의 기술에 있어서는 복합적으로 적용됨을 동사 '먹다'의 기술을 통해 확인할 수 있다.

정보화 시대의 수학 교육은 수학을 체험해 볼 수 있게 하여(Doing Mathematics) 수학적 힘을 향상시키는 데 초점을 두어야 한다. 이를 위해서는 수학의 기본 지식 ${\cdot}$ 추론 능력 ${\cdot}$ 문제 해결력 ${\cdot}$ 수학적 아이디어의 표현 및 교환 능력 그리고 사고의 유연함 ${\cdot}$ 인내 ${\cdot}$ 흥미 ${\cdot}$ 지적 호기심 ${\cdot}$ 창의력을 길러 주는 다양한 교수 ${\cdot}$ 학습 방법이 필요하다. 본 연구는 연립방정식과 일차함수 단원에서 그래핑 계산기를 활용하여 다양한 표상을 통한 수학 개념의 연계지도와 수학 학습 태도 개선을 위한 교수 ${\cdot}$ 학습 모델을 구안 ${\cdot}$ 적용하는 데 주안점을 두고자 한다.

가상공간에서 사용자들은 온라인 커뮤니티(Online Community)로 관계(Relationship)를 맺고, 같은 관심사를 가지고 공감대를 형성하는 일이 하나의 디지털문화로 형성되었다. 이러한 가상공간에서 자신을 대변할 수 있는 또 다른 나, 즉 아바타(Avatar)에 대한 선호가 증가하고 있으며, 사용목적에 따른 사용자 감성의 반영으로 아바타 디자인이 다양한 형태로 발전하고 있다. 아바타의 근원은 분신(分身) 화신(化身)을 뜻하는 산스크리스트어 '아바따라(avataara)'에서 유래되었으며, 인터넷시대가 열리면서 3차원이나 가상현실게임 또는 웹에서의 채팅 등을 즐길 때 사용자를 대신하는 그래픽 아이콘으로 표상되면서 인터넷 상에서 자신을 대표하는 분신으로 정의되고 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 인터넷 매체 서비스 이용자의 아바타 사용에 따른 유형별 특성에 관한 것으로서, 이 연구를 통해 아바타 디자인의 시각적 표현요소에 효과적으로 활용될 수 요인을 찾고자 하였다. 분석을 위해 인터넷 공동체 집단을 미니홈피/블로그, 채팅, 게임으로 구분하였으며, 아바타 이용자들이 이와 같은 커뮤니티를 이용할 때 어떤 목적에 따라 사용하고 있으며, 그들이 아바타를 선택할 때 어떤 유형별 특성이 나타나는가를 실증하고자 하였다. 이것은 아바타 이용자들이 자신이 표현하려는 아바타 이미지와의 관계를 파악함으로써 가상세계에서 표출하는 아바타 사용 목적에 맞는 유형을 설명할 수 있을 것이다. 따라서 아바타 이용자의 특성을 파악하여 그들의 감성을 반영하는 디자인 전략을 세울 수 있다. 연구방법은 아바타의 개념과 유형분류, 그리고 미니홈피/블로그, 게임, 채팅의 이론적 논의 및 근거제시를 위한 문헌연구를 하였으며, 아바타 이용목적에 따른 유형별 특성을 심도 있게 파악하기 위해 질적연구(Qualitative)로서 표적집단면접(Focus Group Interview)을 실시하였으며, 그에 따른 내용분석과 표현분석을 하였다. 그리고 이것을 보다 객관적으로 검증(verification)하기 위해 양적연구(Quantitative)를 병행하였다. 조사대상은 아바타를 이용해 본 경험이 있는 384명의 학생들이며, 성별 연령별에 따른 분류를 통해 각 조사대상자별 특징을 발견하고자 하였다. 조사를 통해 미니홈피/블로그, 채팅, 게임의 서비스 공간에서 보여 지는 각각의 특성에 맞게 아바타 이용자들은 자신이 표현하려는 아바타의 유형에서 선호의 차이를 나타내고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 결과적으로 아바타사용자의 인터넷 매체 이용목적에 따른 유형별 특성을 파악할 수 있었으며, 향후 사이트(site)의 특성에 따라 사용자의 감성선호를 고려한 아바타 디자인 전략과 그 모델(Design model)을 제시할 수 있을 것이다.

Yun Dong - ju's poetry and his representations are used in various visual and dramatic media. According to its medium and genre characteristics, Yoon Dong - ju's representations and his poems are selected and changed. It is also the process of reading what the text is trying to convey to the public through a single person. In this study, Yoon Dong - joo's poetry was compared with other poetry of poetry. Particularly, the discussion was focused on the creative actor . If the creative drama is transmitting the feelings of Yoon Dong-ju through the city, the film conveys the poem of Yoon Dong-ju. Gamuplays are more restrictive than the movies because of their genre. As a result, the emotional expressions of the characters are more intense, the progress of the narrative is also dramatic, and the aspect of Yun Dong - ju, a poem illuminated by the movie and the drama, also differs. If the film aims to portray poet Yoon Dong-ju as a genuine literary youth, the creative poet reinterprets Yun's poetry as having a meaning of resistance.

This study suggests a computational model to inquire the roles of phonological information and orthography information in the process of visual word recognition among the courses of language information processing, and the representation types of the mental lexicon. The model that this study is presenting here was designed as a feed forward network structure which is comprised of input layer which uses two Korean syllables as its input value, hidden layer, and output layer which express meanings. As the result of the study, the computational model showed the phonological and orthographic neighborhood effect among language phenomena which are shown in Korean word recognition, and showed proofs which implies that the mental lexicon is represented as phonological information in the process of Korean word recognition.

This research aims to reconstruct the philosophical content and essence of Schopenhauer's metaphysics of music in his book, Die Welt als Wille und Vorstellung, particularly in paragraph 52, and to pay close attention to its theoretical account of music in the context of traditional musical aesthetics. The question whether Schopenhauer's theory of music is about aesthetics of feeling or about absolute music is dealt with at the end of this paper. It can be answered only within the whole system of his philosophy, because Schopenhauer's theory of music is the result of his philosophical reflections, and plays an important part in his metaphysics of the will. Schopenhauer's music theory, or rather his metaphysics of music, thus cannot be treated separately from Schopenhauer's metaphysics of the will, and is connected organically with it. As the metaphysics of the will lies in suspense between the traditional metaphysical philosophy and the non-metaphysical philosophy after Nietzsche, between the idealism and the philosophy of the body, the music aesthetics of Schopenhauer oscillates between the (romantic) aesthetics of feeling and the modern idea of absolute music.

In Korea, Pbichim refers to a psychological state caused by emotional damages that can occur within close relationships. In this state, one might feel reluctant to express one's feelings directly to the other party. It is also possible that Pbichim transforms into anger. This study is aimed to define the term Pbichim as an indigenous psychological concept. In Korea, it is common to express one's feelings indirectly and read the other party's inward thoughts. Pbichim reflects those cultural aspects. In order to examine the representation of Pbichim in Korea, we developed a questionnaire consisting of 15 open-ended questions. The participants were 119 undergraduate and graduate students at Korea University, and the data was analyzed qualitatively. As a result, four different aspects of Pbichim (unsatisfied expectation, being ignored, being alienated, and power struggle) could be differentiated by the situation in which people are likely to present Pbichim. The personality traits of Pbichim, the way of relieving it, as well as positive and negative functions of Pbichim were also elicited. In addition, it was found that Pbichim (the concept that has been negatively perceived) has an important function in maintaining and improving an interpersonal relationship in Korea. Lastly, the importance of mind reading within a certain cultural context is discussed.

The semiotic approach to the mathematics education has been studied in last 20 years by PME, ICME conferences. New cultural developments in multi-media, digital documents and digital arts and cultures may influence mathematical education and teaching and learning activities. Hence semiotical interest in the mathematics education research and practice will be increasing. In this paper the basic ideas of semiotics, such as Peirce triad and Saussure's dyad, are introduced with some mathematical applications. There is some similarities between traditional research topics for concept, representation and social construction in mathematics education research and semiotic approach topics for the same subjects. some semiotic applications for an arithmetic problem for work, induction, deduction and abduction syllogisms with respect to Peirce's triad, its meaning in scientific discoveries and learning in geometry and symmetry.
