영화<씬 시티>는 프랭크밀러 원작의 만화 '씬 시티'를 영화로 만든 작품이다. 흑백영상과 조명, 원색의 컬러와 뒤에 배경을 컴퓨터그래픽으로 배치함으로써 표현주의를 바탕으로 한 필름 느와르 장르와 원작의 컷을 사용하여 그래픽 노블 이미지를 영상으로 연출하였다. <씬 시티>를 분석하여 이를 통한 영상 미학적 특성과 비쥬얼 스토리텔링에 대해 살펴 볼 수 있는 연구라 사료된다.

본 논문은 '사실주의' 계열영화에 나타난 극영화 촬영기법을 파악하여 내러티브의 극적표현과 시각적 연출법을 분석해 보는 것이 연구의 내용과 목적이다. 이는 한국영화역사라는 큰 흐름 안에서 촬영기법의 변화를 진단해 보고, 촬영자의 주요 표현수단중의 하나인 구도기법이 현대영화에서 어떻게 적용되고, 관객의 감정이입을 유도하는지를 탐구해 본다. 이는 현대예술영화에서 다루는 인간소외와 고립, 내적갈등의 문제들을 시각적으로 어떻게 형상화하고, 상징화하느냐의 방식과 그 중요성을 인식하는 것을 의미한다.

This study aims to highlight the social aspects of genetic discrimination as another shadow that biotechnology can influence on social life. To do so, the definition of "genetic discrimination" and three perspectives (exceptionalism, expressivism, and human right discourse) were reviewed. In addition, the Genetic Information Nondiscrimination Act (GINA) of the United States and the Bioethics and Safety Act of Korea were analyzed. Several social implications for establishing the research and policies of genetic discrimination based on the existing research results of perceived genetic discrimination (the experiences, fears, and coping strategies of genetic discrimination) were suggested. These included public consensus on the definition of genetic discrimination and emphasis on a human rights approach against genetic discrimination; concerns regarding genetic discrimination in both the personal and public domains; raising the consciousness of both health care providers and the public regarding genetic discrimination; and developing psycho-social coping strategies for decreasing the fear of discrimination of asymptomatic people (hereditary carriers).

This study is to figure out the Filipino cultural identity by analyzing the image of the Philippine comfort woman statue, which was created as a representation of memories of the Filipino comfort women during the World War II. As a new approach to the field of area study, this study introduced the concept of 'intertextuality', which is a method of understanding texts in the field of literature. Since the comfort woman statue represents the grieved memories of the comfort women during the international war time, the analysis of the image was focused on 'femininity' and 'nationalism'. As for comparison, the Korean comfort woman statue, the Statue of Peace, was taken into the analysis. Upon analyzing, it can be seen that Filipino perception of femininity emphasizes 'beauty' rather than 'purity' that expressed in the Statue of Peace. And the Philippine nationalism expressed through the comfort woman statue can find 'elitist and inclusive' characteristics, unlike the 'popular and resisting' characteristics of Korean.

The purpose of present study is to discover the meaning of the Eogul(억울) which is known as a emotion from perceived unfairness. Even though Eogul has been mentioned as a cause of the Hwabyung in Korean culture there were few studies about it. Researchers designed two studies to provide clear understanding for this concept. In study 1, researchers conducted an open-ended questionnaire for 44 participants to deduce the cultural contexts and the whole experience on Eogul. Data were analyzed with grounded theory, the results were cross-checked by different evaluators. According to the analysis, Eogul is not only the negative feelings from the perceived unfairness, but also the motivations and behaviors to resolve the feelings. Especially, what makes Eogul culture-bounded could be related display rules on expressing emotions. We conducted study 2 to clarify the cultural attributes of Eogul in Korean culture. Variables that explain cultural differences were chosen and 123 participants were surveyed with them including the items developed for measuring Eogul. Cultural meanings and implications of Eogul were discussed with the results.

This study aimed to investigate the tendency of nationalism and globalization of Korean by analyzing their emotions in sport phase. The SNS comments of newspaper articles on 2016 Brazil Olympics were selected and used to analyze types of nationalism with its emotional texts. The results were as followings; First, the words which showed nationalistic tendency represented each sport phase. Second, Korean showed strong resistant nationalism when their historical background was stimulated by the situation. Third, the most dominant type of Korean's nationalism in sport emotion was the closed. This study could be valued with the empirical approach on the sport emotion and nationalism tendency of Korean.

The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of ambivalent sexism and focusing manner on self-concept for middle-aged women, and to verify the factors that can help middle-aged women's positive self-concept. The self-concept scale, the focusing manner scale, and the ambivalent sexism scale were used for this study through the online community targeting middle-aged women aged 35 to 55. As a result of the analysis using SPSS 21.0, it was investigated that there was a significant positive correlation between hostile sexism and benevolent sexism. In addition, It was found out that ambivalent sexism had a significant negative effect on self-concept. It was found out that the high hostile sexism of ambialent sexism led to lowering the self esteem, emotional stability, problem solving stability, interpersonal relationship and interpersonal trust of middle-aged women. Focusing manner had a significant positive effect on self concept, but there were differences for each sub-factor. Express, accept, and keeping one's composure had a significant positive effect, while awareness had a negative effect, and reflecting attitude did not have a significant effect. Finally, limitations of this study were discussed.

인간의 내면에서 일어나는 여러 가지 변화들을 인간의 지식으로써 표현하는 것이 여러 언어적인 표현이다. 그러나 인간이 무엇을 알고 있는가에 대하여, 표현하기란 그 누구도 결코 불가능한 것일 수도 있고 그렇지 않을 수도 있다. 그리고 인간의 지식을 표현하는 언어로서 자문자답한다고 하더라도 그 결과는 역시 알 수 없는 미궁으로 빠지게 됨을 그 누구나 공감하게 된다. 그렇다고 한다면 수를 보는 시각과 인류 문명에 대한 시각, 그리고 인간사고에 대해서도 이제 새롭게 볼 수 있는 시각이 요구되고 있다. 새로운 시각으로 수의 성질을 크게 존재 ${\cdot}$ 법칙 ${\cdot}$ 구조와 질서 ${\cdot}$ 힘 ${\cdot}$ 양과 질 ${\cdot}$ 통일로 분류하여 알아보았다. 다른 한편으로는 개인의 수 개념 형성에 초점을 둔 Piaget이론을 소개하고 있다 그리고 경험주의 선구자인 Dewey의 수 개념을 소개하고 있다. 역사와 수, 인체와 수에서는 동이와 수리사상이 인체와 관련된다는 사실은 동 ${\cdot}$ 서양을 막론하고 확인되고 있다. 인체와 수에 대한 것을 동양인 중국 문화권에서 일(一)부터 십(十)까지의 기호를 인체와 연결시켜 소개하였다. 수의 본질을 알고 이해하는 것이 곧 자연현상의 이해이며 그 자연의 일부인 인간을 이해하고 동시에 역사를 이해하는 기본이라 아니할 수 없을 것이다. 따라서 수를 보는 시각이 달라지지 않으면 수학을 기피하는 현상은 계속될 것이다.

사진의 발명 초기, 가장 널리 촬영되었던 것이 풍경사진이다. 풍경사진의 역사는 사진술의 발명가인 조세프 니세포르 니에프스의 세계 최초 풍경사진 <르 그라의 집 창에서 내다 본 조망, 1827년>부터 정치적인 목적으로 촬영된 비송형제의 알프스에서 찍은 풍경사진, 미국의 근대 사진을 이끌었던 알프레드 스티글리츠의 구름을 주제로한 <이퀴벌런트 Equivalent) 시리즈, 리얼리티에 입각한 'f64' 그룹, 현대의 풍경을 표현했던 '뉴토포그래픽스' 작가에 이르기까지 다양하며 광범위하다. 이렇듯 풍경사진은 자연이나 인공적인 풍경을 담아내는 일차적인 표현 방법을 넘어서 그 시대와 목적에 따라 달리 표현되며 작가 자신의 내면적 세계를 담아내는 행위이다. 글로벌한 1인 미디어가 대거 등장하면서 사진은 더욱 친숙하고 밀접하게 다가온다. 그 중 대표적인 것으로 여행에서의 풍경사진을 꼽을 수 있다. 우리는 개인이 직접 접해보지 못했던 대자연의 장엄함과 시골의 소박한 자연풍경을 사무실과 거실의 모니터 앞에서 쉽게 감상할 수 있다. 그러나 이 아름다운 풍경을 촬영자의 내면 그대로 담아내는 일은 좀처럼 쉽지 않다. 우리의 눈과 마음으로 바라보는 3차원 또는 4차원의 풍경을 사진이라는 2차원적 평면으로 표현할 수 있는 기본적인 촬영방법을 알아보자.

이 연구의 목적은 카를로 몰리노(1905~1973)의 복합적인 특징을 그의 초현실적 공간구성 방식을 특별히 고려하여 분석하는 것에 있다. 몰리노는 가장 독창적인 현대 이탈리아 건축가들 중 한 명이다. 그는 생애동안 그의 작품들은 비평가들에게는 인정을 받지 못했다. 그의 반 순응적인 성격과 극심한 개인주의도 일조를 하였지만 가장 큰 이유는 그의 작품들이 그의 전문적인 활동과 다양한 개인적인 관심사 사이에서의 강박적인 상호작용에 기반을 두었기 때문이다. 그의 독창성은 그의 능력에 있는 것으로, 항공학, 자동차, 스키, 무대 디자인, 패션, 예로티즘, 문학 그리고 그 외 수많은 다양한 분야에서 얻었던 지식을 디자인하고 건축으로 변형하려는 그의 초현실주의 배경에서부터 나온다. 개인적인 집착으로 그의 작품을 키워가면서 몰리노는 당시 현대 건축의 모든 관습들을 깨고 전문적인 능숙함과 독특한 예술적 시야 사이에 걸려있는 독특한 디자인 표현을 보여주었다. 이 연구는 몰리노의 독특한 공간 구성 방식을 벗겨내기 위해 그의 배경, 즉 그가 열정적으로 탐구했던 연구 분야들과 전문적인 생산물 사이의 연결고리를 분석한다.
