  • 항공영상이나 위성영상을 이용하는 원격 감지 기술(Remote Sensing)은 무인 비행, 지리 정보 시스템(GIS) 그리고 도시 계획에 이용되고 있다. 원격 감지 기술과 함께 사용될 수 있는 또 하나의 기술로는 자동 표적 탐색 기술이 있으며 현재 많은 연구가 진행되고 있으나, 대부분 특정적인 시험용 영상에만 적용되고 있어서 항공 영상과 같이 복잡하고 불규칙적인 경우에는 적용이 어렵다. 본 논문에서는 Distance Weighted Intensity Transformation (DWIT)와 Coefficients Filtering(CF) 방법을 이용하여 영상의 이동, 회전, 배경에 불변적인 항공 영상 표적 탐색 기법을 제안한다.

Study on the False Alarm Rate Reduction Technique for Detecting Approaching Target above Ground (지상 클러터 환경에서 접근표적 감지를 위한 오경보율 감소기법 연구)

  • This paper proposes a false alarm rate reduction technique for detection of small targets in a terrestrial environment. CFAR algorithm is useful in homogeneous background, but it is not easy to detect targets in non-homogeneous background. In particular, when the clutter power is not significantly different from the target signal, it is difficult to detect the target due to high false alarm rate. To solve these difficulties, this study presents the false alarm rate reduction technique based on CFAR algorithm, matched filter and binary integration technique. The parameters are studied through the theoretical analysis and the validity of the proposed study is examined by the test results.

  • Under natural conditions, Apple detection has the problems of occlusion and small object detection difficulties. This paper proposes an improved model based on SSD. The SSD backbone network VGG16 is replaced with the ResNet50 network model, and the receptive field structure RFB structure is introduced. The RFB model amplifies the feature information of small objects and improves the detection accuracy of small objects. Combined with the attention mechanism (SE) to filter out the information that needs to be retained, the semantic information of the detection objectis enhanced. An improved SSD algorithm is trained on the VOC2007 data set. Compared with SSD, the improved algorithm has increased the accuracy of occlusion and small object detection by 3.4% and 3.9%. The algorithm has improved the false detection rate and missed detection rate. The improved algorithm proposed in this paper has higher efficiency.

  • Batch estimation 알고리듬은 수집된 표적에 대한 모든 정보들을 사용하여 상태변수의 초기값을 추정하게 되며 그 구간동안 표적이 일정한 속도로 움직이고 표적 음원의 주파수는 그 값이 항상 일정하다는 가정을 했다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 가정을 위배하는 표적 음원의 주파수 변화에 대해 대처하기 위한 각도와 주파수정보를 이용하는 Batch estimation 알고리듬과 각도정보만을 사용하는 Batch estimation 알고리듬의 경우를 표적 음원의 주파수 변화를 감지하여 스위칭 할 수 있는 방법에 대해 알아본다.

  • This letter presents the signal processing of a CW radar (Continuous Wave or Doppler radar) sensor which enables the radar to detect the multiple targets' approaching and retreating using both I and Q channels. The proposed algorithm utilizes the phase change of the Quadrature signal, which occurs when targets move back and forth from the radar. The verification is carried out with the board containing a commercially available MMIC chip and an MCU by analyzing the received data from MMIC. Also the proposed algorithm is downloaded to MCU and the approaching and retreating movement is confirmed. The CW frequency is 24.125 GHz and the transmitter output power used is 7.2 dBm. Detectable distance is about 12 m.

  • This paper proposes a federated Kalman filter approach which utilizes information from multiple sensors and variable estimation model. Compared with the decentralized Kalman filter, the algorithm proposed in this paper demonstrates much better tracking performance in both maneuvering and constant velocity movement of the target.

  • In this paper, by applying the linear least squared error algorithm, we derive an estimation technique for three dimensional target location when a number of radars are used in detecting a target. The proposed technique is then enhanced by combining GPS information and by assigning variable weights to information sources. The enhanced performance of proposed techniques is confirmed via simulation. It is also observed from simulation results that the performance is robust to the uncertainty of information.

  • 표적 암세포 또는 마이크로미터 단위 이하의 미세 입자의 검출하기 위해 다양하게 사용되는 유세포분석기는 레이저와 같은 특정 파장의 광원 및 파장대별 선택이 가능한 필터, 고성능 광탐지기로 구성되어있다. 이 분석기는 표적물질의 광학적 산란특징에 기인하여 입상도와 크기, 농도 등의 물리적 정보제공이 가능하나, 고가이며 사용자의 요구에 따른 다양한 광원 및 필터의 선택이 제한적이라는 단점을 가지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 상용화된 마이크로컨트롤러, 발광다이오드, 광검출기와 필름형식의 광학필터를 사용하여 저가의 표적 암세포 검출기를 개발하고자 한다. 또한, 3D 프린터를 사용하여 사용자의 필요에 따른 설계변화와 이동이 용이하므로, 공간의 제약을 받지 않고 다양한 분야에 적용이 가능하다. 제안된 검출기의 광감지 수치는 세포의 농도에 따라 높은 선형성을 보였으며, 세포수량기를 사용한 결과 값과 비교하였을 때 무의미한 통계학적 차이를 보였다.

Study on the Compact K-Band Radar for Detecting the Approaching Target above Ground (지상 접근 표적 감지를 위한 초소형 K-대역 레이다 연구)

  • This paper proposes a compact K-band radar applied to a miniature proximity fuze for the active defense system. In this terrestrial environment, it is not easy to detect approaching small targets because the clutter is scattered. In addition, it is difficult to miniaturize the radar for the small proximity fuze while improving the target accuracy of the radar in such environments. To solve these difficulties, this study presents system analysis and design, antenna design, and transceiver and signal processor design of the compact K-band radar. Some test results are presented and the results are analyzed, the validity of the proposed study is examined.

Approaching Target above Ground Tracking Technique Based on Noise Covariance Estimation Method-Kalman Filter (잡음 공분산 추정 방식을 적용한 칼만필터 기반 지면밀착 접근표적 추적기법)

  • This paper presents the approaching target above ground tracking based on Kalman filter applied to the proximity sensor for the active defense system. The proximity sensor located on the front of the countermeasure is not easy to detect when the anti-tank threat enters a fragment dispersion range due to limited antenna beamwidth. In addition, it is difficult for the proximity sensor to detect the anti-tank threat accurately at a terrestrial environment including various clutters. To solve these problems, this study presents the approaching target above ground tracking based on Kalman filter and applies the novel estimation method for a noise covariance matrix to improve a tracking performance. Then, a high tracking performance of Kalman filter applied the proposed noise covariance matrix is presented through field firing test results and the validity of the proposed study is examined.
