This paper presents a study on the evacuation analysis in underground arcade. In this study, the effect of the exit with a windbreak door has been investigated by using evacuation simulation program (building EXODUS). Also, the simulation has included the impact of smoke, heat and toxic gases by fire simulation program (CFAST). The results were obtained for the conditions of without and with door of the two exit with 1,088 evacuation population. As a results, for non-fire evacuation, there was only a little difference of evacuation time for both conditions. However, for fire emergency evacuation, the evacuation time for the condition with door increased more 110 seconds than for the condition without door. When the auto door not opened, the evacuation time was increased more 670 seconds than for the condition without door. Consequently, in case of fire, the automatic door should be operating by the signal of fire detector and keep open when the fire accidents. To lead the evacuees well to the escape route the luminaries for an emergency exit sign have to be reinforced to the wall and floor around the exit.

The effect of dietary pectin in the upper gastrointestinal transit rate was studied. Rats fed fiber-free diet or 10% pectin diet were offered 51-$CrCl_3,$ a transit marker. The movement of 51-Cr dose through the gastrointestinal tract was measured at intervals from 20 minutes to 6 hours after dosing. pectin significantly increased gastric emptying rate upto 3 hours after dosing. Pectin also increased small intestinal transit rate from 3 hours to 4 hours after dosing. The results suggest that delayed gastric emptying is not likely the important aspect of the mechanism by which pectin could flatten the post-prandial response of serum glucose and insulin.

This study is intended to suggest ways to improve the quality of the service of subtitles provided for the convenience of viewing for deaf people on e-sports broadcast content and game streamer content. Generally, subtitling files of broadcast content are manually written on air by stenographers, so a delay of 3 to 5 seconds is inevitable compared to the original content. Therefore, the present study proposed the formation of an automatic synchronization calibration system using speech recognition technology. In addition, a content application experiment using this system was conducted, and the final result confirmed that the time of synchronization error of subtitling data could be reduced to less than 1 second.

Purpose: Because of recent global and domestic issues regarding the safety of food, there is growing concern over food safety and interest in the country-of-origin for food ingredients from restaurants. This study was conducted to reveal the influence of consumer level of knowledge and awareness regarding restaurants and the country-of-origin labeling. Methods: To accomplish this, a primary survey of adults aged over 20 years old was conducted to measure customers' knowledge regarding country-of-origin labeling for restaurants. Respondents were then divided into a lower group and an upper group based on their level of knowledge to evaluate significant differences between groups. A total of 437 of 460 questionnaires were analyzed. Results: The average knowledge score regarding country-of-origin labeling for restaurants was 6.3 out of 10. Additionally, there were significant differences between the lower and upper group in terms of the final education level and occupation. Conclusion: It is necessary to develop guidelines and public relations for country-of-origin labeling of restaurants.

Two single cross maize hybrids planted on May 4 and 25 and June 15, 1982 were grown at 40,000:55,000 70,000 and 85,000 plants per hectare to evaluate plant density effect on growth and grain yield at different planting dates. Two hybrids with different leaf angle (Suweon 19 with horizontal leaves and Suweon 58 with erect leaves) and the same maturity were used. The number of days from planting to silking varied from 74 to 58 days as planting was delayed from May 4 to June 15. However, growing degree days from planting to silking was about $810^{\circ}C$ regardless planting dates. Grain yields of two hybrids were significantly decreased as planting was delayed. The number of ears per 100 plants and the number of kernels per ear of two hybrids were linearly decreased with increasing plant density. The optimum plant density for Suweon 19 estimated by Duncan's method was about 55,000 plants hectare for May 4 and 25 plantings and decreased to 32,000 plants/hectare for June 15 planting. The optimum density for Suweon 58 was estimated to be about 71,000 plants/hectare for May 4 planting and 54,000 plants/hectare for May 25 planting, respectively.

There are 24 airways in Incehon IFR, including 11 domestic routes and 13 international routes. The airways designated by ministry of Transportation and Construction are the routes for aircraft to fly being serviced by air traffic control system for flight safety. This study reviewed safety situation of existing permanent airways within Incheon IFR and temporary airways connecting North and South Korea. The study tried to identify the problems related to airway operation and to suggest solutions to the questionable area. The main findings are as follows: It is necessary to improve the existing normal airway systems and enlargement of the route. The airway A593 has to be upgraded to normal route. The temporary airways established to connect Seoul and Pyongyang also needs to be upgraded by air traffic control transfer agreement between two Koreas.

In this paper, HRV signal which was appeared RR intervals from ECG was analyzed using return-map during anesthesia. We intended to estimate the depth of anesthesia observing the change of autonomic nervous activity(ANS) because HRV showed change of cardio-vascular system of the body according to state of ANS. Return-map analysis is to reconstruct time series of HRV to phase space after calculating delay time and embedded time. After approximating the signal distribution which was reconstructed in phase space in elliptic, we calculated the lengths of major and minor axises of the elliptic and the values was used to estimate the depth of anesthesia. Stages of the anesthesia were 7 levels to evaluate the depth of anesthesia. At induction stage of strong external stimulation, the length of major and minor axis were statistically high and at the operation stage of non-external stimulation, the values were statistically low. Conclusively, the stages of anesthesia were discriminated by HRV signal mapped in the phase space during operation.

In this paper, we proposed a MAC protocol called P/S-DCA that using dynamci channel allocation scheme for supports the multimedia traffic in wireless ATM, and analysis theoretically the throughput and delay of up/down link according to varying the down traffic load. To evaluate and the dynamic channel allocation scheme, simulations are executed with varying down traffic load. The results are proved that system capacity is improved better than PRMA and C-PRAM. The system capacity, denoting by $M_{0.01}$, is defined as the maximum number of conversations which can be supported under constraint of packet dropping probability no more than 1%. It is shown that the values of $M_{0.01}$ for ${\lambda}_{d}=0.5,\;{\lambda}_{d}=0.2\;{\lambda}_{d}=0.1\;{\lambda}_{d}=0.001$ are about 43, 69, 77 and 83, respectively. This indicates that P/S-DCA protocol achieves a significant improvement in system capacity relative to PRMA and C-PRMA protocol.

In order to overcome the lack of Korean credit rating migration data, we consider an empirical Bayes procedure to estimate credit rating migration matrices. We derive the posterior probabilities of Korean credit rating transitions by utilizing the Moody's rating migration data and the credit rating assignments from Korean rating agency as prior information and likelihood, respectively. Metrics based upon the average transition probability are developed to characterize the migration matrices and compare our Bayesian migration matrices with some given matrices. Time series data for the metrics show that our Bayesian matrices are stable, while the matrices based on Korean data have large variation in time. The bootstrap tests demonstrate that the results from the three estimation methods are significantly different and the Bayesian matrices are more affected by Korean data than the Moody's data. Finally, Monte Carlo simulations for computing the values of a portfolio and its credit VaRs are performed to compare these migration matrices.

Father, U. Faurie visited Korea (Busan, Incheon, Nampo, Pyongyang, Seoul, Wonsan, Mt. Geumgang of Gangwon-do, and Jeju-do) three times for his plant collections (1901, 1906, and 1907). During his plant explorations, Faurie collected many specimens which were investigated and studied by T. Nakai and H. L$\acute{e}$veill$\acute{e}$ later. Unfortunately all collection sites were simply described in his collection sites in Romanized character, so that it is difficult to pinpoint those sites using the current or old Korean map. From this study, many locality names were reviewed based on his own collections and literatures, and those were listed as the order of his collection dates.
