This paper attempts to analyze how Paris was transformed by Haussman through comparing flaneurs in works by Balzac and Baudelaire. In both writers' works, flâneurs as the emblems of modernity observe Paris, especially architecture. Although representative of modernity, they are ambivalently obsessed with the heritage of the past. Balzac's The Wrong Side of Paris, Godefroid as a male bourgeois, is a flaneur observing antiquated architectures, the heritage of past. In Baudelaire's "The Swan for Victor Hugo" the flaneur passing through the modern Caroussel feels the Old Paris is gone. In "Parisian Dream," illusionary Paris exhibits metopolitan imagery wrought by capitalism led by Napoleon the third. The difference between the two writers demonstrate how Paris was changed by modernity.

All vague and constructions of contemporary cultural environment have been reorganized and the relationship between people and culture can't follow development speed of rapid material civilization development and being informationalized. Because of the circumstances, physical environment is changing into other cultural environment, existence of human being is at a crisis. Physical value precedes mental value and rapid changing causes culture lag. Modernism design of 20th century suggested standard, simplicity and mass production methods, but nowaday, as human being complexity is increasing, information-media are needed to satisfy that. Namely usual design thoughts have to be changed because our life is surrounded by many kinds of powerful media sings and various mixed cultural circumstances. People predict that the characteristics of new ages are 'Immateriality', 'Sensoriality', 'multimedia'. Amongst them, medial spatial characteristics will be eventually remarkable in commercial space which is coincided with economic logic and multilateral culture. This study is a focus on commercial space which emphasis contemporary medial characteristics and observes medial meaning and various technique through some experimental works in Korea. Also this study's purpose is to examine design directions which correspond with contemporary Korea culture.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the impact of argument-based modeling strategy using scientific writing on student's modeling ability. For this study, 66 students (three classes) from the 7th grade were selected and of these, 43 students (two classes) were assigned to two experimental groups while the other 23 students (one class) were assigned to comparative group. In the experimental groups, one group (22 students) was Argument-based multimodal Representation and Modeling (AbRM), and the other group (21 students) was Argument-based Modeling (AbM). Modeling ability consisted of identifying the problem, structuring of scientific concepts, adequacy of claim and evidence and index of multimodal representation. As for the modeling ability, AbRM group scored significantly higher than the other groups, AbM group was significantly higher than comparative group. The four sub-elements of modeling ability in the AbRM group was significantly higher than the other groups statistically and AbM group scored significantly higher than comparative group. From these results, the argument-based modeling strategy using scientific writing was effective on students' modeling ability. Students organized or expressed the model and evaluated or modified it through the process of argument-based modeling using scientific writing and the exchange of opinions with others by scientific language as argument and writing.

본 연구에서는 우리 나라의 학교 수학에서 실제적으로 CBL, CBR과 같은 실시간 테크놀로지와 MathWorld와 같은 소프트웨어를 활용한 활동 중심의 실험 학습의 가능성을 탐색하고, 이를 통하여 수학 학습의 기초가 되는 함수적 개념의 이해와 그 표상과의 연관성, 그리고 기존의 형성되어 있던 함수에 대한 오개념에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 분석하고자 하였다.

중간언어 (interlingua, IL) 구축을 지향하는 시각에서 단어의 다의성 (polysemy) 문제를 각종 워드넷의 기술 방식과 용례를 대비하여 논의하고, 센스(어의) 번호를 부착한 세계 워드넷 (Would Wordnet) 데이터베이스를 구상하고, 이 연장 선상에서 (Pustejvsky 식) 생성 어휘 부와 TMR(텍스트의미표상)이론을 가미한 제약기반 통합문법(CUG)으로 IL구축에 다리를 놓고, 이로부터 개별언어 기술로 변환한다.

강동구청에서는 구의회 의사당의 미래지향적 이미지를 표상화 하고 강동구민을 위한 집회, 관람, 예식 및 교육의 장을 마련하는 한편, 주변 도시환경과의 조화 및 관리운영의 용이성을 확보하기 위하여 강동구 의회 의사당 현상공모를 실시하였다. 지난 10월 15일 발표한 이번 현상공모에서는 총 12개 작품이 응모를 하여 그중 예ㆍ지ㆍ인종합건축(안)이 당선작으로 선정되었다.

정보도 자산이라는 인식은 어느정도 자리를 잡아가고 있는 듯하다. 그러나 어떤 정보가 얼만큼의 가치가 있고 그것이 기업에 있어 수치적으로 계산될 수 있는 가하는 문제는 아직 의견이 분분하다. 분명한 것은 기업에 있어 정보는 분명 자산으로서의 가치를 가지고 있다는 것인데, 일부의 경우 대차대조표상에 기재가 필요하다는 주장을 펼치기도 한다.

This paper examines the relation between memory and consciousness,especially the independence between memory and memory consciousness. First,the phenomena of memory performance without memory consciousness, next the phenomena of memory consciousness without memory representation are dealt with. They are examined both in special cases(e,g.,brain damaged patients,under hypnosis,etc.) and in normal cases.In both case, we can find that memory and memory consciousness are independent each other and that memory representation is neither necessary nor sufficient conditions for memory consciousness. Lastly, the roles of memory consciousness in our daily information processing are dealt with. Especially, the importance of memory consciousness in normal social life and the problem of self consciousness are discussed.

The purpose of the study are to identify factors of mathematical visualization through the thirty students of highschool 2nd year and to investigate how each visualization factor is used in mathematics problem solving process. Specially, this study performed the qualitative case study in terms of the five of thirty students to obtain the high grade in visuality assessment. As a result of the analysis, visualization factors were categorized into mental images, external representation, transformation or operation of images, and spacial visualization abilities. Also, external representation, transformation or operation of images, and spacial visualization abilities were subdivided more specifically.
