Comparison of Purchasing Decision Factors for Eyeglasses Buyer according to Demographic Characteristics (인구 사회학적 특성에 따른 안경구매자의 구매결정요소 비교)

  • Purpose: We study the eyeglasses consumer's purchasing decision, brand equity, purchase satisfaction and word of mouth. Methods: For two month, from October to December, 437 questionnaires distributed through eyeglasses shops. Sampling was performed using a convenience sampling, participants in the survey-based selflegislation (self-adminstration method) were to answer. Results: It was found that demographic characteristics - gender, age, education, income - acts as parameters representing difference of purchase decision, brand equity and word of mouth. Conclusions: Consumer's demographic characteristics such as gender, age, education, income serve as parameters that represents the differences. Purchase satisfaction by age is statistically significant. Word of mouth is also classified according to their income level is statistically significant.

Going global: The Study Abroad Experiences of Chinese and Korean Students (세계화:중국학생과 한국학생들의 해외 유학 경험)

  • This study includes three students' whose country origin is of a political and economic success, therefore the pursuit to learn English is important. The participants evaluated in this study are two students of Korean descent and one Chinese student. The purpose was to evaluate their overall language learning experiences outside of their home country. While the participants in this study share similar cultures and learning styles their process towards second language readiness is different. The internal factors (readiness) that motivated them to study abroad were synonymous. However, the classroom situations (assessment), social settings (environment), and strategies used were disparate. The methodology of this paper used a holistic approach with a snowball sampling technique. The responses were collected by a prepared questionnaire and unstructured interviews, then later analyzed by the inductive reasoning process. The 3 specific categories identified were despondency, culture and communication conflict. The present study revealed that the participants' earlier preparation from their home country plays a significant contribution to their success abroad.

A study on the Spatial Sampling Method to Minimize Spatial Autocorrelation of Spatial and Geographical Data (공간·지리적 자료의 공간자기상관성을 최소화하는 공간샘플링 기법에 관한 연구)

  • The study focused on analyzing spatial sampling by minimizing autocorrelation of spatial based on spatial and geographical data. The study concluded two different ways of minimizing autocorrelation. First, it was important to use suitable spatial sampling method to alienate spatial autocorrelation from spatial or geographical data. The shear distribution rate of public transportation in Seoul resulted in high rate of autocorrelation. However, the study showed samples eliminated autocorrelation when samples were extracted with reasonable distance(above 400m) apart. Without spatial sampling the distortion of spatial data leads to false results; therefore, spatial sampling is indispensable. Second, factors which fluctuates shear distribution of public transportation spatial sampling changed before and after spatial sampling. This was caused by incapable of controling inherent spatial autocorrelation of the data.

저소득층 편부모의 자아통제가 심리적 안녕감에 미치는 영향

  • 본 연구의 목적은 저소득층 편부모의 자아통제가 심리적 안녕감에 미치는 요인들을 살펴봄으로써 이들 대상의 심리적 안녕감을 향상시킬 수 있는 정색적 시사점을 얻고자 하였다. 본 연구는 편의표본추출방법에 따라 저소득층이 밀집된 48개 지역에 거주하는 635명의 편부모를 대상으로 구조화된 자기 기입식 설문지를 이용만 우편설문조사를 실시하였다. 본 연구에서 종속 변수인 심리적 안녕감은 우울증, 자존감, 삶의 만족도 등이며, 독립변수로 인구사회적 배경 요인(모델 1), 사회적 지원 요인(모델 2), 자아통제 요인(모델 3) 등이 사용되었다. 본 연구의 주요 초점인 자아통제 요인은 내외통제성, 적극적 대처, 소극적 대처 등으로 구성되었다. 자료분석은 위계적 다중회귀분석(Hierarchical Multiple Regression Analysis)이 활용되었다. 본 연구에서 나타난 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 1) 우울증 모델에서는 자아통제 요인이 모두 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 판명되었다. 내적 통제감이 높고 소극적 대처력이 낮고 적극적 대처력이 높을수록 우울증이 낮게 나타났다. 다른 유의한 변인은 건강상태로 건강할수록 우울증이 낮았다. 2) 자존감 모델에서는 자아통제 요인 중 내외통제청과 적극적 대처력이 유의한 변인으로 판명되어, 내적 통제감이 놓고 적극적 대처를 많이 하는 편부모일수록 자존감이 높았다. 또한 고연령이고, 건강상태가 좋고, 종교를 갖고 있으며 자녀와의 관계가 가까울수록 자존감이 높았다. 3) 삶의 만족도 모델에서는 자아통제, 소극적 대처, 적극적 대처가 유의한 변인으로 분석되어, 내적 통제감이 높고, 소극적 대처는 낮으며 적극적 대처력이 높은 편부모가 삶의 민족도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 수입, 건강, 종교, 자녀와의 관계는 두 모델에서는 유의하였으나, 자아통제 요인을 첨가하자 의미성이 없어졌다. 예상외로 부모, 형제, 친구, 공공기관, 종교기관으로부터 받는 사회적 지지는 거의 모든 모델에서 유의한 영향을 주지 않았다. 이러한 결과는 저소득층에게 제공되어지는 사회적 지지가 미미한 편으로 변이가 없기 때문으로 해결될 수 있다. 따라서, 저소득층 편부모에게 사회적 지지는 물론 자아통제를 제고하는 것이 그들의 심리적 안녕감을 높게 하는 주요 방안이라 팔 수 있다. 앞으로 저소득층 편부모의 자아통제를 제고할 수 있는 다양한 프로그램의 개발 및 이의 적극적 실행방안이 모색되어야 할 것이다.

The Effects on the Trust of the Leaders and Organizational Commitment on the Revolutionary Leadership to Canoe Leaders (카누 지도자의 변혁적 리더십이 지도자의 신뢰와 조직몰입에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to find out how a canoe leader's revolutionary leadership affects his trust and how a leader's trust affects the organizational commitment. 350 participants were selected out of male and female registered as canoeists by the Korea Canoe Federation in 2011 through the random sampling. Except for 26 data with those not seriously taken, 324 responses were taken as valid samples. Frequency analysis, reliability analysis, factor analysis, correlation analysis, and multi-regression analysis have been conducted. The conclusion is as follows: First, a leader's revolutionary leadership positively affects his trust. Secondly, a leader's revolutionary leadership has a positive effect on his organizational commitment. Lastly, a leader's trust positively affect the organizational commitment.

The Impact of Social Support on Self-Esteem and Depression of Adolescents in Institutions (시설거주청소년의 사회적 지지가 자아존중감과 우울증에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구)

  • This research study examined the relationships among perceived social support, self-esteem, and depression. The study examined whether self-esteem mediates the relationship between social support and depression. This research study used a convenience sampling method, and the sample of this study was drawn from 7 child welfare facilities in Gyeonggi-Do. A total 240 surveys were completed. The research study shows that there were strong, significant relationship between most of the variables. There was a positive relationship between social support and self-esteem. Also, social support was negatively associated with depression. This research study also shows that self-esteem mediated the relationships between perceived social support and depression. Findings suggest that increased levels of social support were associated with increased self-esteem, which in turn decreased depression. Implications of the findings are discussed.

  • In the IT convergence environment changed with not only the quality but also the material abundance, it is the most crucial factor for the strategy of personalized recommendation services to investigate the context information. In this paper, we proposed the recommendation using the service ontology based context awareness modeling. The proposed method establishes a data acquisition model based on the OSGi framework and develops a context information model based on ontology in order to perform the device environment between different kinds of systems. In addition, the context information will be extracted and classified for implementing the recommendation system used for the context information model. This study develops the ontology based context awareness model using the context information and applies it to the recommendation of the collaborative filtering. The context awareness model reflects the information that selects services according to the context using the Naive Bayes classifier and provides it to users. To evaluate the performance of the proposed method, we conducted sample T-tests so as to verify usefulness. This evaluation found that the difference of satisfaction by service was statistically meaningful, and showed high satisfaction.

Predicting Movie Success based on Machine Learning Using Twitter (트위터를 이용한 기계학습 기반의 영화흥행 예측)

  • This paper suggests a method for predicting a box-office success of the film. Lately, as the growth of the film industry, a variety of studies for the prediction of market demand is being performed. The product life cycle of film is relatively short cultural goods. Therefore, in order to produce stable profits, marketing costs before opening as well as the number of screen after opening need a plan. To fulfill this plan, the demand for the product and the calculation of economic profit scale should be preceded. The cases of existing researches, as a variable for predicting, primarily use the factors of competition of the market or the properties of the film. However, the proportion of the potential audiences who purchase the goods is relatively insufficient. Therefore, in this paper, in order to consider people's perception of a movie, Twitter was utilized as one of the survey samples. The existing variables and the information extracted from Twitter are defined as off-line and on-line element, and applied those two elements in machine learning by combining. Through the experiment, the proposed predictive techniques are validated, and the results of the experiment predicted the chance of successful film with about 95% of accuracy.

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze effect of participation satisfaction, absorption on exercise adherence of Elementary Student Hapkido participants. Data was collected from a questionnaire designed for this study consisted of fixed alternative choice response to item constructed to represent the operational definition for each variable. The inventory was administered to stratified cluster random sampling 315 Elementary Student Hapkido participant in Daejeon City Hapkido Alliance. Statistics employed the study to data analysis were frequency, correlation, regression analysis. Based on the result of the study, the following conclusion appears warranted: First, participation satisfaction of Hapkido influence exercise adherence of Elementary Student Hapkido participants. Secondly, participation absorption of Hapkido influence exercise adherence of Elementary Student Hapkido participant.

Analysis of the Socioeconomic Conditions and Satisfaction Level of Beneficiaries of the Samurdhi Poverty Alleviation Program in Sri Lanka (스리랑카 사무르디 빈곤퇴치프로그램 수혜자의 사회경제적 조건과 만족도 분석)

  • 사무르디는 스리랑카의 빈곤퇴치를 위한 프로그램 중 가장 규모가 큰 사회복지 지원 사업으로 1995년 청년, 여성, 장애인 등의 취업기회의 제공과 역량을 제고하여 궁극적으로 국가의 빈곤을 퇴치하고자 중앙정부에 의해 마련되었다. 본 연구는 사무르디 프로그램 수혜자의 만족도를 높이기 위한 사회경제적 관련 인자들이 무엇인지를 밝히고자 하였다. 사례연구지역은 스리랑카 중부지역에 위치한 오지이며 빈곤도가 높아 본 프로그램의 수혜율이 비교적 높은 캔디(Kandy) 지역을 대상으로 하였다. 본 프로그램의 주목적인 소득향상을 비롯하여 훈련프로그램, 사무르디은행의 신용, 정부보조금, 보험금, 기술정보제공, 마케팅시설, 고용기회제공, 도로개발, 관개수로시설 및 공공기반시설 등 프로그램의 지원내용 등과 관련된 다양한 인자들을 대상으로 수혜자의 만족도는 물론 이에 영향을 미치는 사회경제적 인자의 특성 등을 밝히고자 하였다. 다단계 표본 추출방법으로 150 사무르디프로그램 수혜자를 선정하여 관련 설문조사를 실시하였으며(유효설문 127), SAS9.1 통계분석용 소프트웨어를 사용하여 빈도분석, 회귀분석 등을 실시하였다. 그 결과 사무르디 수혜자들은 정부보조 및 사무르디 은행의 신용 제공, 보험금 지급, 도로개발, 소득 증대 등에 대해서는 만족도가 매우 높은 반면 종자나 비료 등의 농업투입요소나 마케팅시설, 기술정보 제공 등에 대해서는 비교적 낮은 만족도를 보였다. 회귀분석 결과 사무르디 프로그램 실시 후 소득증대, 고용 기회와 훈련프로그램 제공, 사무르디 은행의 신용 제공 등이 중요한 요인임을 확인할 수 있었다. 본 사무르디 프로그램을 통하여 지역주민의 생활여건 개선은 물론 소득을 향상시켜 나아가 빈곤 퇴치라는 본래의 취지와 역할을 제대로 수행하기 위해서는 농업인 조직 강화, 농산물집하시설 등 마케팅 및 유통 시설 확충, 농기계 지원, 농업생산시설 등을 지속적으로 확충하여야 할 것이며, 정부의 지속적인 모니터링과 평가 등을 통하여 사무르디 프로그램을 보다 긍정적으로 발전시켜 나가야 할 것이다.
