The purpose of this study is to examine methodological issues of empirical research using survey methods in Journal of the Korean Society of Clothing and Textiles. We reviewed 95 articles from Journal of the Korean Society of Clothing and Textiles in 1996, 1998, and 2000. Methodological issues were categorized into four areas: questionnaire and scale development, sampling and collecting data, variable construction, and external validity(generalization). In each imp, a check list was made and 95 articles were reviewed based on this limit. Major findings were discussed and some suggestions were made for future research.

최근 국내외 소프트웨어 개발 특성의 변화인 잦은 요구사항의 변경, 단축된 비즈니스 라이프사이클, 비용절감의 압력등과 맞물려 생산성을 높이기 위한 개발 접근방식이 요구되었으며, 소프트웨어의 재사용 및 높은 생산성을 제공할 수 있는 대표적인 방법이 디자인 패턴이다. 본 연구는 웹 어플리케이션 시스템 개발에 실제 적용가능한 UI디자인 패턴모델을 개발하기 위해 20개의 웹 어플리케이션 시스템을 표본으로 추출하여 1000여개의 단위업무화면을 분석하였다. 개발한 어플리케이션 UI 디자인 패턴 모델을 실무 전문가(UI디자이너, 개발자)들에게 이해도, 사용적합성, 생산성측면에서 검증하여 실무에 적용가능한 모델임을 객관적으로 증명하였다.

The population enumeration data from the decennial U.S. census are used in the apportionment of the U.S. House of Representatives and federal revenue sharing. The primary purpose of this study is to examine the various issues about the U.S. Census 2000. More specifically, this paper analyzes the sociopolitical implications of the racial and ethnic variations in net undercount rate in the census. In addition, we investigate the politics of race and ethnicity centering the census questions on race and use of sampling for adjustment of the enumeration data.

본 연구는 레저스포츠타운 이용자 특성과 이용만족도를 규명하기 위해 수행되었다. 모집단은 춘천시에 위치한 송암 레저스포츠타운을 이용하는 이용자를 대상으로 설정하였으며, 표본은 목적표집 추출방법을 통해 표집하였다. SPSS 12.0 프로그램을 이용하여 t검증(t-test), 일원변량분석(one-way ANOVA), 신뢰도분석(reliability analysis), 빈도분석(Frequency analysis), 확인적 요인분석(Confirmatory Factor Analysis)을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 구체적인 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 사회인구학적 특성 요인에 따라 이용만족도에는 차이가 있다. 둘째, 레저스포츠타운 이용자 특성에 따라 이용만족도에는 차이가 있다.

In this paper we study the calibration estimator and its variance estimator for the population total using a bootstrap method according to the levels of an auxiliary information having strong correlation with an interested variable in nonresponse situation. At this point, we find tire calibration estimator in case of auxiliary information for population and sample, and then we drive the bootstrap variance estimator of it. By simulation study we compare the efficiencies with the Taylor and Jackknife variance estimators.

자연에 존재하는 연속량의 데이터는 디지털화 될 때 숫자로 변환된다. 이때 부딪치는 일반적인 문제는 완전히 통합되지 않았거나 잘못 통합된 표본 추출의 결과로 정보를 잃어버리는 앨리어싱(Aliasing) 현상이 일어나게 된다. 현재 일반 사용자가 사용하는 PC기반의 모니터 해상도는 96PPI(Pixel ZPer Inch)밖에 제공하지 못한다. 이러한 저해상도에서 컴퓨터 그래픽 이미지 객체를 디스플레이 할 때 앨리어싱 현상이 자주 발생한다. 현재 PC 기반의 그래픽 하드웨어 구조의 변형없이 저해상도 모니터상에서 앨리어싱 현상이 발생하는 이미지를 기존의 계산 방법을 감소시키면서 앨리어싱 현상을 제거하는 기법이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 이와 같이 앨리어싱 현상을 감소시켜 이미지 데이터의 품질을 향상시킬 수 있는 개선된 Anti-Aliasing 알고리즘을 제안한다.

The second research of "a study of the evaluation indicators in Korean public libraries" had as its major objective the identification of indicators and broad dimensions of public library effectiveness in Korea. The managers and librarians of the 175 public libraries in the sample were asked to rate the performance of their libraries. Factor analysis was used to derive 11 dimensions of effectiveness. The dimensions fit four different models of organizational effectiveness.ctiveness.

한국형 표준 원진(울진 원전 3,4호기)화해 사건에 대한 2 단계 확률론적 안전성평가 (Level 2PSA) 에서 격납건물 파손모드에 큰 영향을 준다고 판단되는 현상들에 대한 불확실성 분석을 수행하였다. 불확실성 분석 대상은 주로 민감도분석 및 기존 2단계 PSA수행결과 중요한 인자로 선정된 8가지 주요 현상들로 국한하였다. 수행 방법은 성층화 추출방식 (Latin Hypercube Sampling)으로부터 발생된 1000개의 표본을 사용하였고, 분석결과는 두가지 불확실성 측도로 제시하였으며, 사용된 코드는 2 단계 PSA 분석용 전산코드인 CONPAS 이다. 불확실성 관리측면에서. 제일 불확실성이 높은 격납건물 파손모드인 원자로 공동바닥관통의 불확실성 인자를 줄이기 위해서는 CR-EJECT 현상에 대한 불확실성 을 줄여야 할 것이다.

내용 기반 영상검색을 위한 효과적 특징 추출 방법에 대한 관심이 집중되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 물체의 크기에 강인한 영상검색을 위한 색상 특징정보와 상관관계를 이용한 RGB 칼라 검색 기법을 제안하였다. R, G, B 영상을 각 칼라 R, G, B 크기 순으로 배열한 후 칼라 R, G, B 간의 분산 차이를 특징 벡터로 사용하였다. 그리고 각 계산된 분산차를 3개의 구역으로 표본화여 재배열하였다. 제안된 알고리즘은 실험을 통하여 기존의 칼라 히스토그램, CCV, 칼라 코렐로그램 보다 검색 성능이 더 향상됨을 보였다.
