Cascade AOA Estimation Using Uniform Rectangular Array Antenna (등간격 사각 배열 안테나를 적용한 캐스케이드 도래각 추정)

  • In the wireless communication system based on an array antenna, the angle of arrival (AOA) information of signal is very important element and various AOA estimation algorithms have been studied. Although most AOA estimation algorithms employ the uniform linear array (ULA), some algorithms apply the planar array (PA) antenna. In this paper, we present an algorithm for efficiently estimating AOAs of adjacent multiple signals, based on the uniform rectangular array antenna. This approach has two steps; after approximately estimating AOA groups consisting of the closely located signal sources using CAPON, accurately estimating the individual AOA of each signal in the estimated AOA group using Beamsapce MUSIC. The estimation performance of the presented cascade AOA algorithm is illustrated through the computer simulation example.

  • Black and White aerial photogrphs are much useful to obtain the information on the channel-bed fluctuation in the following aspects. 1. In the decision of river width, the linear regression formula between the value of aerial photograph interpretation and that of field surveying is Y=1.0+0.94X(the decision coefficient is $r^2=0.98$). Therefore, aerial photographs are proved effective for the measurement of river width. 2. Aerial photograph interpretation makes it possible to classify the plane channel and the deposits in river, and suggests the situation of the plane distribution of deposits, the size of channel and the course of channel formation. 3. The periodical channel situation can be figured out through the interpretation of aerial photographs pictured in different times. Also, the comparing and analyzing each interpretated information can be able to guess the course of the variation of channel influencing powerfully channel - bed fluctuation. 4. The microtopographic map of river can be made through the decision of river with, the interpretation of the plane shape of channel - bed and the analysis of variation of channel. On the basis of this map, the plane analysis of deposit is possible.

  • Recently, as the demand for the mobile platform market in the virtual/augmented/mixed reality field is increasing, experiential content that gives users a real-world felt through a virtual environment is drawing attention. In this paper, as a method of tracking a tracker for user location estimation in a virtual space movement platform for motion capture of trainees, we present a method of estimating 3D coordinates of the 3D cross covariance through the coordinates of the markers projected on the image. In addition, the validity of the proposed algorithm is verified through rigid body tracking experiments.

  • In this paper, we propose a method to stabilize the 3D pose estimation result of a 3D volumetric data sequence by matching the pose estimation results from multi-view. Draw a circle centered on the volumetric model and project the model from the viewpoint at regular intervals. After performing Openpose 2D pose estimation on the projected 2D image, the 2D joint is matched to localize the 3D joint position. The tremor of 3D joints sequence according to the angular spacing was quantified and expressed in graphs, and the minimum conditions for stable results are suggested.

  • This study proposes a new method of multiple homographies estimation between two images. With a large proportion of outliers, RANSAC is a general and very successful robust parameter estimator. However it is limited by the assumption that a single model acounts for all of the data inliers. Therefore, it has been suggested to sequentially apply RANSAC to estimate multiple 2D projective transformations. In this case, because outliers stay in the correspondence data set through the estimation process sequentially, it tends to progress slowly for all models. And, it is difficult to parallelize the sequential process due to the estimation order by the number of inliers for each model. We introduce a guided sequential RANSAC algorithm, using the local model instances that have been obtained from RANSAC procedure, which is able to reduce the number of random samples and deal simultaneously with multiple models.

  • This paper proposes a method for 3-D sound source localization (SSL) using region selection and TDOA. 3-D SSL involves the estimation of an azimuth angle and an elevation angle. With the aim of reducing the computation time, we compare signal energies to select one out of three regions. In the selected region, we compute only one TDOA value for the azimuth angle estimation. Also, to estimate the vertical angle, we choose the higher energy signal from the selected region and pair it up with the elevated microphone's signal for TDOA computation and elevation angle estimation. Our experimental results show that the proposed method achieves average error values of $0.778^{\circ}$ in azimuth and $1.296^{\circ}$ in elevation, which is similar to other methods. The method uses one energy comparison and two TDOA computations therefore, the total processing time is reduced.

  • 기계명면시일의 접촉 운동면에서 유체가 비압축성이고, 점서의 영향을 받는 경우에 대한 체적 누설 유동량과 마찰 토오크를 멱급수의 방법을 이용하여 추정하였다. 본 연구에서 고려되고 있는 설계인자로 시일의 경사도, 접촉 운동면에서의 사인파형, 코우닝, 열탄성 변화량, 마모량, 시일의 스프링 강성도에 따른 축방향의 변화량을 종합적으로 고려하여 해석하였다. 계산된 결과에 의하면 특히 회전속도가 증가되면 열탄성 변화량에 의한 시일의 누설 유동량과 마찰 토오크는 커다란 영향을 받고 있는 것으로 나타나고 있다.

  • 평면 연삭가공에 있어서 피삭재의 진직도의 제어는 정밀계측기와 같은 정밀기기의 제작에 중요한 문재중 하나이다. 본 연구에서는 연삭작업 능률을 향상시키기 위해 고 능률 단공정 가공시 발생할 수 있는 피삭재의 열변형기등을 유한요소법으로 밝힌것을 기초로 실험과의 타당성 여부를 검토하고, 고능률 연삭시 형상오차에 미치는 여러가지인자의 영향을 조사하였으며, 회귀분석에의해 형상오차의 추정치를 예측하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 구면 영상을 사용한 vSLAM에 의해 생성된 환경 지도에서 실내 공간을 인식하는 방법을 제안한다. 환경 지도는 오픈 소스 라이브러리 OpenVSLAM을 사용하여 생성했다. 카메라 방향과 위치를 기준으로 랜드 마크를 분류하고 허프 변환을 사용해서 실내 공간의 각 벽의 위치를 찾아냈다. 실험 결과 추정된 평면들이 실제 벽면과 유사한 위치에 나타남을 알 수 있었다. 제시하는 알고리즘은 현재의 AR 콘텐츠보다 진보된 AR 콘텐츠를 제작하는 데 사용할 수 있다.
