Development of Vehicle Arrival Time Prediction Algorithm Based on a Demand Volume (교통수요 기반의 도착예정시간 산출 알고리즘 개발)

  • The information on travel time in providing the information of traffic to drivers is one of the most important data to control a traffic congestion efficiently. Especially, this information is the major element of route choice of drivers, and based on the premise that it has the high degree of confidence in real situation. This study developed a vehicle arrival time prediction algorithm called as "VAT-DV" for 6 corridors in total 6.1Km of "Nam-san area trffic information system" in order to give an information of congestion to drivers using VMS, ARS, and WEB. The spatial scope of this study is 2.5km~3km sections of each corridor, but there are various situations of traffic flow in a short period because they have signalized intersections in a departure point and an arrival point of each corridor, so they have almost characteristics of interrupted and uninterrupted traffic flow. The algorithm uses the information on a demand volume and a queue length. The demand volume is estimated from density of each points based on the Greenburg model, and the queue length is from the density and speed of each point. In order to settle the variation of the unit time, the result of this algorithm is strategically regulated by importing the AVI(Automatic Vehicle Identification), one of the number plate matching methods. In this study, the AVI travel time information is composed by Hybrid Model in order to use it as the basic parameter to make one travel time in a day using ILD to classify the characteristics of the traffic flow along the queue length. According to the result of this study, in congestion situation, this algorithm has about more than 84% degree of accuracy. Specially, the result of providing the information of "Nam-san area traffic information system" shows that 72.6% of drivers are available.

  • 심바스타틴은 cholesterol 생합성 과정에서 속도 조절 효소인 HMG-CoA reductase의 강력한 상경적 길항약으로서 고지혈증 치료에 널리 쓰이는 약물이다. 심바스타틴 제제인 MSD 사의 조코 20 mg정을 대조약으로 하여 시험약인 유영 제약의 엘바스타 20mg정의 생물학적 동등성 평가를 하기 위해 22명의 건강한 지원자를 모집하였다. 지원자를 두 군으로 나누어 2정씩 투여하였고 $2{\times}2$ 교차시험을 실시하였다. 심바스타틴의 혈장 중의 농도를 정량하기 위하여 발리데이션된 LC/MS/MS를 사용하였다. 채혈 시간은 투약 전 및 투약 후 0.5, 1, 1.5, 2, 2.5, 3, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12 시간에 걸쳐 총 12시점에 걸쳐 시행하였다. 생물학적 동등성을 판정하기 위한 파라미터로 12시간까지의 혈장 중 농도곡선 하 면적 ($AUC_{12hr}$)과 최고 혈중 농도($C_{max}$)를 사용하였다. 12시간 까지의 혈중 농도 곡선 하 면적의 기하 평균은 $17.30ng{\cdot}ml/hr$(시험약)과 $17.35ng{\cdot}ml/hr$(대조약)으로 나타났다. 최고 혈중 농도의 경우 각 각 5.08 ng/ml(시험약)과 5.20 ng/ml(대조약)으로 관찰 되었다. $AUC_{12hr}$의 경우 로그변환한 평균치 차의 $90{\%}$ 신뢰구간이 log0.8510 - log1.1694이었고, $C_{max}$의 경우 log0.8176 - log1.1649로 계산되어 두 항목 모두 log0.8-log1.25이어야 한다는 식품의약품 안전청과 FDA의 기준을 모두 만족시켰다. 이상의 결과를 종합하면 시험약 엘바스타 정 20mg은 대조약 조코정 20 mg에 대하여 생물학적 동등한 것으로 판정되었다.트리머 전기비저항 탐사를 수행하였다. 이를 통해 하저에 케이블을 설치하는 방식에 비해 매우 신속하고 경제적으로 하저에 분포하는 이상대의 분포범위와 발달방향을 규명할 수 있었다.대에 대해 가장 효과적이다. 모델과 현장 적용 결과들을 통해 GRM SSM 방법을 이용하여 불규칙한 굴절면을 가진 지층들에 대해 좀 더 신뢰할 수 있는 정밀한 탄성파 속도를 산출할 수 있음을 보여주고 있다.별한 주의를 기울여야 한다.EX>$\alpha/\beta$=10인 경우 $62.0\~121.9\;Gy_{10}$ (중앙값: $93.0\;Gy_{10}$)의 분포를, ${\alpha/\beta}=3$인 경우 $93.6\~187.3\;Gy_3$ (중앙값=$137.6\;Gy_3$ )의 분포를 보였다. MD-BED $Gy_3$는 직장합병증 발생과의 관계는 통계적으로 유의하였고, 방광합병증과는 유의하지 않았다. 직장합병증과의 연관성은 MD-BED $Gy_3$보다 개별 환자의 직장전벽 총 선량 BED값인 R-BED $Gy_3$가 훨씬 더 높았다. 요도카테터 풍선의 후방지점이 대변하는 방광의 총 선량 BED값인 V-BED $Gy_3$도 방광합병증과 경향성 테스트에서 통계적 유의성을 보였다. 하지만, 어떠한 방사선선량도 골반제어율과 의미 있는 상관관계를 보이지 않았다. 본 기관에서 주치의의 선호도에 따라 강내근접치료가 외부방사선치료의 중간에 시행되는 형태인 샌드위치기법과 외부방사선치료 후반부에 시행되는 순차적 기법으로 구분하였을 때, 두 방식간 치료성적 및 합병증의 차이는 없었다. 총 치료기간에 대한 분석에서는 치료기간이 길어질수록 재발 위험이 커지는 경향을 보였으나, 나이 및 병기, 종양의 크기, MD-BED $Gy_{10}$

Study on the Measurements of Flow Field around Cambered Otter Board Using Particle Image Velocimetry (PIV를 이용한 만곡형 전개판의 유동장 계측에 관한 연구)

  • This paper introduces an analysis method to predicting the flow characteristic of flow field around otter board In order to develope a high performance model. In this experiment, it is used a numerical analysis of flow field through CFD(Computational Fluid Dynamic), PIV method in which quantitative, qualitative evaluation is possible. In this experiment, it is used PIV method with flow filed image around otter board in order to analysis of flow characteristic. The result compared flow pattern with analysis result through CFD and also measurement result of lift and drag force coefficient carried out in CWC(Circulating Water Channel). The numerical analysis result is matched well with experiment result of PIV in the research and it is able to verify In the physical aspect. The result is as follows ; (1) It was carried out visibility experiment using laser light sheet, and picture analysis through PIV method in order to analysis fluid field of otter-board. As a result, the tendency of qualitative fluid movement only through the fluid particle's flow could be known. (2) Since PIV analysis result is quantitative, this can be seen in velocity vector distributions, instantaneous streamline contour, and average vorticity distributions through various post processing method. As a result, the change of flow field could be confirmed. (3) At angle of attack 24$^{\circ}$ where It Is shown maximum spreading force coefficient, the analysis result of CFD and PIV had very similar flow pattern. In both case, at the otter-board post edge a little boundary layer separation was seen, but, generally they had a good flow (4) As the result of post processing with velocity vector distributions, instantaneous streamline contour and average vorticity distributions by PIV, boundary layer separation phenomenon started to happen from angle of attack 24$^{\circ}$, and from over angle of attack 28$^{\circ}$, it happen at leading edge side with the width enlarged.

A Study on the Factors Affecting Air Temperature on Roadside : Focusing on Road Conditions and Traffic Characteristics (도로 주변부 기온에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구: 도로조건과 교통특성을 중심으로)

  • It turned out that there was a direct or an indirect relationship among global warming, urban heat island effects, urban and traffic environments, and public's health. In particular, unusual climate phenomena such as frequent heavy rainfall and scorching heat in a row that had rarely happened before have a negative effect on quality of life for people living in urban areas. This study focuses on the effects of roadway geometric design and traffic conditions on air temperature of roadside in Seoul Metropolitan Areas, controlling of roadway micro-climate environment. Five roadway segments containing different roadway and traffic conditions in terms of traffic median with trees, street trees, traffic volume and average travel speeds were surveyed. According to statistical results(t-test) from three roadway air temperature regression model estimations, air temperature is found to be different from one another in three periods-morning, afternoon and evening. Regarding roadway geometric design, air temperature of urban roads with vegetated median strips is lower about 1.3~2.2 degrees in celcius. Higher traffic volumes per lane and lower average travel speeds will tend to increase roadside air temperature, and efficient traffic operation policies can protect from increasing roadside air temperature in urban areas.

Vertical Distribution of Heavy Metal Concentrations in Sediment Cores and Sedimentation Rate Using $^{210}Pb$ Dating Technique in the Juam Reservoir (주암댐 호저 퇴적물에서의 수직적 중금속 분산과 $^{210}Pb$를 이용한 퇴적속도산정)

  • Twelve bottom sediments and three cores were collected in Juam reservoir for a study on transportation, which was controlled by particle grain size (2mm-200{\mu}m,\;200-100{\mu}m,\;100-50{\mu}m,\;50-20{\mu}m,\;<20{\mu}m), and vertical distribution of heavy metals. Sediment cores were sliced into 2 to 5 cm intervals to measure heavy metal concentrations in interstitial water and sediments with depth. Pb isotopic compositions of core samples were determined to calculate sedimentation rate. Regardless of sampling sites, levels of heavy metals and trace elements in bottom sediments are nearly constant with mean values of $14.9\;{\mu}g/g\;for\;As,\;0.81{\mu}g/g\;for\;Cd,\;30.7{\mu}g/g\;for\;Cu,\;34.7{\mu}g/g\;for\;Ni,\;63.3{\mu}g/g\;for\;Pb\;and\;87.9{\mu}g/g\;for\;Zn$. In general, Cu, Pb, Zn, Wi, and Cr in fraction of $<20{\mu}m$ exhibit the highest concentration, but content of As is the highest in grain size of $2\;mm-200\;{\mu}m$ and $200-100\;{\mu}m$. Fe and Mn occur as the dissolved compositions of the highest concentrations in interstitial waters and increase in their concentrations toward lower part of cores. On the contrary, concentrations of Zn and Cu show the highest value in the uppermost part in cores, suggesting these elements are released from reductive dissolution of hydroxides and oxidation of organic matters under different redox conditions. The highest accumulations of Cu, Ni, Pb, and Zn contents in the sediment cores are observed at 0-4 cm layers, and concentrations of Cu and Pb are especially high, implying these heavy metals are originated from anthropogenic sources. The apparent sedimentation rate estimated using unsupported $^{210}Pb$ is 0.91 cm $year^{-1}$, corresponding about 10 cm sedimentation in total depth since construction of Juam dam. These results will provide available information for management of bottom sediment in Juam reservoir.

Eco-friendly remediation and odor control of a contaminated urban stream using beneficial microorganisms (생물증강법을 이용한 도심 오염 소하천의 친환경적 수질정화 및 악취제어)

  • Dongchun, one of the representative streams in urban area, is a downstream that is connected to Hogyechun, Bujeonchun, Jeonpochun, Danggamchun, and Gayachun as its upstream. Hogyechun has been mostly covered with concrete structures for decades, causing sewage pollution from the upstream, overflow of the downstream region and other serious pollution that gave rise to many civil complaints from the residents nearby. In this study, we analyzed 3 stations, including control station for water quality and malodor changes of Hogyechun after applying the microbial augmentation (BM-2) for a few months including the rainy season. Amounts (g/h) of DO in the middle site (Middle) and the downstream site (Borim) increased by 1.7 times compared with the upstream site (Chuhae) after augmentation for about 2 months. Amounts (g/h) of COD and $NO_3{^-}N$ decreased by 2 and 1.7 times, respectively, in the middle and downstream sites while SS increased by 7.5 and 22 times in the middle and downstream sites, respectively. Moreover, odor removal efficiencies at the middle and downstream sites were 65% and 19%, respectively, indicating the microbial activity in reduction of malodor in the polluted stream. The dominant microbial species of the sampling sites were Hydrogenophaga caeni, Sphaerotilus natans, Acidovorax radicis, Acidovorax delafieldii, and Cloacibacterium rupense. Densities of the two species Sphaerotilus natans and Acidovorax delafieldii were significantly increased in the middle site after augmentation which possessed potential odor removal and denitrification activity, respectively. Potential pathogens (e.g., Arcobacter cryaerophilus) were also removed from the middle site after the implementation.

Effectiveness and Characteristics Analysis of Inertia Driving on Fuel-Cut Zones in Urban Highway (도시부도로 연료차단구역의 관성주행 특성 및 효과분석)

  • In this study, the effects of inertial driving on a fuel-cut zone were analyzed by measuring the instantaneous variations of fuel consumption and speed. Thirteen sites with 2-8% downhill slopes were selected for the vehicle experiments. The vehicles were driven on the sites in two different driving modes, and the various vehicle states were measured using OBD under driving. For the analysis of the effects of inertial driving, the characteristics of fuel consumption, speed, and rpm were compared between normal and inertial driving. As a result, the fuel consumption was reduced from 24% to 78% according to the downhill grade. The amount of fuel consumption reduction was about 30cc for driving 500m downhill. Fuel cost savings amounting to 35 billion won can be achieved if inertial driving will be done in the case of Munemi-ro3. It is also believed that the reduced fuel consumption and vehicle speed through inertial driving will have considerable environmental and safety benefits.

Assessment of Improved Transportation Operating Systems in Changwon City (창원시 교통운영체계 개선 효과평가 연구)

  • In order to improve the safety and efficiency of traffic signal operation, several core projects of advanced transportation operating systems were implemented in Changwon City. This project included 10 units such as the expansion of roundabout, the permitted left-turn signal operation and the effectiveness of the projects was assessed using before and after studies. This paper presented the quantitative and qualitative evaluation results for three projects: roundabout, permitted left-turn signal operation, and left-turn actuated signal operation. From the analysis results, average travel speed was improved by 16.8% from the installation of roundabouts and average travel time and control delay were reduced by 12.4% and 41.6% respectively, from permitted left-turn operation. It was found that average control delay was reduced about 26.7% from left-turn actuated signal operation. In addition, more than 57.7% of the surveyed people was satisfied with the operational performance of the roundabout implemented. It is expected that the operational performance of traffic signal can be greatly improved by incorporating the proper projects of advanced transportation operating systems in other cities.

  • Research of this paper focused on developing and demonstrating of algorithm with the figures of difference between historical traffic pattern data and real-time traffic data to decide on what the incident is. The aim of this dissertation is to develop incident detection algorithm which can be understood and modified easier to operate. To establish traffic pattern of this algorithm, weighted moving average method was applied. The basis of this method was traffic volume and speed of the same day and time at the same location based on 30-second raw data. The model was completed by a serious of steps of process-screening process of error data, decision of the traffic condition, comparison with pattern data, decision of incident circumstances, continuity test. A variety of parameter value was applied to select reasonable parameter. Results of application of the algorithm came out with figures of average detection rate 94.7 percent, 0.8 percent rate of misinformation and the average detection time 1.6 minutes. With these following results, the detection rate turned out to be superior compared with result of existing model. Applying the concept of traffic patterns was useful to gain excellent results of this study. Also, this study is significant in terms of making algorithm which theorized the decision process of actual operators.

A Study on Durability Enhancement of Hopper of the Transplanter (정식기 호퍼 내구성 향상에 관한 연구)

  • 정식기는 주로 노외에서 사용되므로 사용자에 따라 극심한 작업환경 하에 놓일 수 있다. 사용 중 정식기 호퍼에 토양이나 자갈, 돌 등에 의해 반복적인 하중이 가해지거나 순간적인 충격하중이 가해져 취약부가 파손될 가능성이 있으므로, 토양과 직접 맞닿는 삽날부의 경우 내구성을 고려한 설계/제작이 필수적이다. 본 연구에서는 보행형 반자동 정식기 개발에서 고추묘와 같은 초장이 긴 작물의 묘를 효과적으로 이식할 수 있도록 개선된 삽날에 대해 기존 삽날과 강도 및 강성을 비교하고, 그 결과가 삽날의 내구성에 미칠 영향에 대하여 고찰하였다. 실험에는 양날 개폐 방식의 기존 및 개선삽날 2종이 사용되었으며, 각각 3회씩 정적 강도를 평가하였다. 실제 정식기 사용시 하중이 가해지는 방향은 삽날에 수직한 방향의 압축하중으로 이를 모사하여 일정변위 속도로 삽날에 하중을 가하였으며, 시험 진행시 DAQ 시스템을 통해 실시간으로 하중 및 변위 데이터를 저장하여 시험 종료 후 해당 데이터를 이용하여 $P-{\delta}$ 선도를 도출하였다. 시험 결과 기존삽날의 평균 최대하중이 개선삽날에 비해 높은 것으로 나타났으며, 최대 하중이 나타나는 지점의 변위의 경우, 기존삽날이 개선삽날에 비해 짧게 나타났다. 정적 강도측면에서 개선삽날이 기존삽날에 비해 최대 강도가 낮은 것으로 판단할 수 있으나, 실제 호퍼의 내구성에 영향을 줄 수 있는 주요 인자는 반복적으로 가해지는 비교적 낮은 수준의 충격하중으로 볼 수 있다. 이러한 관점에서 볼 때 일정 수준 이상의 강도를 가지면서, 기존삽날에 비해 낮은 강성을 가지는 개선삽날이 변형을 통한 충격에너지 흡수로 오히려 삽날 조립체(호퍼)의 내구성 측면에서 유리할 수 있다. 따라서 향후에는 기존 및 개선삽날을 적용한 호퍼에 대해 피로시험을 수행하여 관련 내용을 실험적으로 검증하고자 한다.
