Motion-based Controlling 4D Special Effect Devices to Activate Immersive Contents (실감형 콘텐츠 작동을 위한 모션 기반 4D 특수효과 장치 제어)

  • This paper describes a gesture application to controlling the special effects of physical devices for 4D contents using the PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) method. The user operation recognized by the infrared sensor is interpreted as a command for 3D content control, several of which manipulate the device that generates the special effect to display the physical stimulus to the user. With the content controlled under the NUI (Natural User Interface) technique, the user can be directly put into an immersion experience, which leads to provision of the higher degree of interest and attention. In order to measure the efficiency of the proposed method, we implemented a PWM-based real-time linear control system that manages the parameters of the motion recognition and animation controller using the infrared sensor and transmits the event.

  • In this paper, we study on design of vehicle control system which is based on ${\mu}C/OS-II$, We component a electric motor drive system for simulator because the most of vehicle part use electric motor for actuator. We use the XC2287 microcontroller which is often used vehicle body controller because XC2287 guarantee high confidence and durability in vehicle industry. The electric motor control system derive PWM from general I/O port in XC2287 microcontroller. The signal is supplied at electric motor after amplifying that using driver circuit. The user control duty of PWM signal through controlling potentiometer which is connected to XC2287. through that, the user control speed of electric motor. we synchronize both input process via controlling potentiometer and PWM output process using semaphore. we verify porting of ${\mu}C/OS-II$ via experimentation.

  • This paper proposes a new temperature control algorithm and system configuration of the pTMS(personal Thermal Massage System). By controlling the pulse width of the PWM(Pulse Width Modulation), the temparature of the heating lamp can be controlled stably, which is indispensable to the massage function. This technology is also adapted to the 'thermal massage', 'thermal acupressure', 'thermal moxibustion' functions of medical equipments. The temperature could be set at between $40^{\circ}C{\sim}70^{\circ}C$ by increments of $5^{\circ}C$, the control could be made in real time by increments of $1^{\circ}C$, and the temperature is displayed on the monitor by triggering every 2 seconds. when the present temperature is equal to the preset temperature, the PWM signal is minimized, and when the present temperature is higher than the preset temperature, overheating is prevented by interrupting the PWM output signal. When the difference of temperature exceeds $4^{\circ}C$, the PWM control is maximized in order for the system to reach the target temperature within a short period of time.

  • 공간벡터 펄스폭변조법과 관련하여 과변조시의 전류제어성능을 향상시킬 수 있는 벡터 과변조의 새로운 연산 알고리즘으로 유효전압벡터를 반지름으로 하는 원을 이용하여 수정된 기준전압벡터가 위치할 섹터를 구하고, 전압제한 6각형을 나타내는 전압벡터식을 이용하여 동일한 수식으로 벡터과변조하는 간결한 새로운 알고리즘을 제시하고, 이를 전류제어 시뮬레이션에 적용하였다.

  • Pressure control is possible driving a simple ON/OFF 3-way valve of hydraulic servo system by pulse width modulation signal. But the pressure varies according to the duty ratio and carrier frequency and repeated on-off action induces pressure fluctuation. So equations for mean pressure and ripple amplitude are theoretically derived as a function of on/off time, the system parameters which decide the pressure characteristics are arranged and they are verified by experimental study. As the result selection criteria for the major design parameters are established and the basic strategy to suppress the unnecessary fluctuation can be provided for a hydraulic pressure control system using these type of valves.

  • A lunar lander demonstrator developed for the purpose of demonstrating lunar landing technologies recently in Korea. The thruster control system of the lunar lander demonstrator adopted the main thrusters for altitude control and the reaction thrusters for attitude control. In this paper, we propose a path tracking controller base on Euler angles. The control signals of the controller are of continuous type. And Pulse Width Modulator(PWM) is adopted to provide On/Off signals. We perform MATLAB simulation for evaluating the path tracking performance and the final landing velocity of the lunar lander demonstrator.

  • This paper describes the load parallel type full-bridge high frequency resonant inverter can be used as power source. Output control method of proposed circuit is compared with pulse frequency modulation(PFM), pulse width modulation(PWM) and pulse phase variation(Phase-Shift). The analysis of the proposed circuit is generally described by using the normalized parameters. The principle of basic operating and the its characteristics are estimated according to the parameters such as switching frequency(${\mu}$), pulse width($\theta$d) the variation of phase angle($\phi$) by three driving signal patterns. Experimental results are presented to verify the theoretical analysis result. In future, Characteristics by three driving signal control method is provided as useful data in case of output control of a power supply in various fields as induction heating application, DC-DC converter etc.

  • In WDM networt a WDM buffer is one of essential elements for realizing all-optical packet switching system. In this paper, we propose and demonstrate a single loop type all-optical WDM buffer system. The proposed one consists of NOLM and feedback loop, and provides more than 40 turns buffering (more than 20${\mu}\textrm{s}$) for single input pulse (1550nm, width: 20㎱) before selected by control signal pulse (1553nm, width: 30㎱).

펄스 플라즈마를 이용한 라디칼 제어에 의한 실리콘 건식 식각시 RIE lag 개선에 관한 연구

  • 본 논문에서는 HBr, O2 gas를 사용하여 나노급 반도체 디바이스에 응용되는 실리콘 트렌치 패턴의 건식 식각시 중요한 인자중의 하나인 RIE (Reactive Ion Etching) Lag현상에 관하여 연구하였다. 실험에서 사용된 식각 장치는 유도 결합 플라즈마(Inductively Coupled Plasma) 식각 장치로써, Source Power및 기판에 인가되는 Bias power 모두 13.56 MHz로 구동되는 장치이며, Source Power와 Bias Power 각각에 펄스 플라즈마를 인가할 수 있도록 제작 되어있다. HBr과 O2 gas를 사용한 트렌치 식각 중 발생하는 식각 부산물인 SiO는 프로파일 제어에 중요한 역할을 함과 동시에, 표면 산화로 인해 Trench 폭을 작게 만들어 RIE lag를 심화시킨다. Br은 실리콘을 식각하는 중요한 라디칼이며, SiO는 실리콘과 O 라디칼의 반응으로부터 형성되는 식각 부산물이다. SiO가 많으면, 실리콘 표면의 산화가 많이 진행될 것을 예측할 수 있으며, 이에 따라 RIE lag도 나빠지게 된다. 본 실험에서는 Continuous Plasma와 Bias Power의 펄스, Source Power의 펄스를 각각 적용하고, 각각의 경우 Br과 SiO 라디칼의 농도를 Actinometrical OES (Optical Emission Spectroscopy) tool을 사용하여 비교하였다. 두 라디칼 모두 Continuous Plasma와 Bias Power 펄스에 의해서는 변화가 없는 반면, Source Power 펄스에 의해서만 변화를 보였다. Source Power 값이 증가함에 따라 Br/SiO 라디칼 비가 증가함을 알 수 있었고, 표면 산화가 적게 형성됨을 예측할 수 있다. 이 조건의 경우, Continuous Plasma대비 Source Power 펄스에 의하여 RIE lag가 30.9 %에서 12.8 %로 현격히 개선된 결과를 얻을 수 있었다. 또한, 식각된 실리콘의 XPS 분석 결과, Continuous Plasma대비 Source Power 펄스의 경우 표면 산화층이 적게 형성되었음을 확인할 수 있었다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 식각 중 발생한 Br과 SiO 라디칼을 Source Power펄스에 의한 제어로 RIE lag를 개선할 수 있으며, 이러한 라디칼의 변화는 Actinometrical OES tool을 사용하여 검증할 수 있음을 보여준다.

New Optimal PWM Scheme for Minimizing the Harmonic Effects of VSI-PWM Inverter (VSI-PWM 인버터의 고주파 영향을 최소화하기 위한 새로운 Optimal PWM 방식)

  • This paper is proposed new optimal PWM scheme is based on a defined linear relationship between the successive pulsewidths of the PWM pattern. The calculation of the pulsewidths in the new PWM scheme is caried out without referring to the equations of CW and MW. With this scheme the PWM pattern for microprocessor controlled inverters can be composed easily by obtaining the optimal increment in sucessive pulsiwidths of the pattern. Furthmore, the harmonic level at the output of PWM inverter are always very low because this PWM pattern is selected on the basis of minimum THD. Theis scheme is applied to 1(Hp), three phase induction motor, and compared with conventional regular PWM scheme. The results of calculations and experiments show that new optimal PWM scheme could provide an effective generalized approach for minimization of harmonics in the VSI-PWM inverter.
