Modified Transformation and Evaluation for High Concentration Ozone Predictions (고농도 오존 예측을 위한 향상된 변환 기법과 예측 성능 평가)

  • To reduce damage from high concentration ozone in the air, we have researched how to predict high concentration ozone before it occurs. High concentration ozone is a rare event and its reaction mechanism has nonlinearities and complexities. In this paper, we have tried to apply and consider as many methods as we could. We clustered the data using the fuzzy c-mean method and took a rejection sampling to fill in the missing and abnormal data. Next, correlations of the input component and output ozone concentration were calculated to transform more correlated components by modified log transformation. Then, we made the prediction models using Dynamic Polynomial Neural Networks. To select the optimal model, we adopted a minimum bias criterion. Finally, to evaluate suggested models, we compared the two models. One model was trained and tested by the transformed data and the other was not. We concluded that the modified transformation effected good to ideal performance In some evaluations. In particular, the data were related to seasonal characteristics or its variation trends.

Design and Evaluation of an Early Intelligent Alert Broadcasting Algorithm for VANETs (차량 네트워크를 위한 조기 지능형 경보 방송 알고리즘의 설계 및 평가)

  • The development of applications for vehicular ad hoc networks (VANETs) has very specific and clear goals such as providing intellectual safe transport systems. An emergency warning technic for public safety is one of the applications which requires an intelligent broadcast mechanism to transmit warning messages quickly and efficiently against the time restriction. The broadcast storm problem causing several packet collisions and extra delay has to be considered to design a broadcast protocol for VANETs, when multiple nodes attempt transmission simultaneously at the access control layer. In this paper, we propose an early intelligent alert broadcasting (EI-CAST) algorithm to resolve effectively the broadcast storm problem and meet time-critical requirement. The proposed algorithm uses not only the early alert technic on the basis of time to collision (TTC) but also the intelligent broadcasting technic on the basis of fuzzy logic, and the performance of the proposed algorithm was compared and evaluated through simulation with the existing broadcasting algorithms. It was demonstrated that the proposed algorithm shows a vehicle can receive the alert message before a collision and have no packet collision when the distance of alert region is less than 4 km.

  • 2011년 동일본 지역에서 발생한 지진으로 인하여 후쿠시마 다이이치에 위치한 원자력 발전소에서 다양한 방사성 물질들이 바다, 하천 그리고 대기와 같은 자연환경 속으로 유출되었다. 방사성 세슘(Cesuim, $Cs^{137}$)은 다양한 방사성 물질들 가운데 반감기(Half-life)가 30.17년으로 가장 긴 물질이다. 방사성 세슘이 환경 생태계로 한번 유출될 경우 긴 반감기과 널리 퍼지는 성질로 인하여 오랜 시간동안 넓은 지역에 막심한 피해를 초래하므로 효과적인 처리방법을 통해 안전하게 처리하는 것이 아주 중요하다. 세슘을 제거하기 위하여 물리적, 화학적, 생물학적 등 다양한 방법들을 통해 연구를 진행하고 있으며, 특히 세슘을 제거하는 아주 효과적인 방법 중 하나인 프러시안 블루(Prussian Blue, PB) 흡착제를 적용하는 방법이 많이 주목받고 있다. 그러나 프러시안 블루는 미세한 분말입자로서 수처리에 사용하게 되면 처리 후 발생되는 슬러지들을 수중으로 부터 분리하기 어려운 한계점을 가지고 있다. 최근 연구에서는 프러시안 블루의 적용 한계점를 극복하기 위하여 자성체(Magnetic substance)를 물리적 지지체로 이용하여 외부 자기장을 통해 수중으로 분리하는 방법들이 연구되고 있다. 자성체란 외부 자기장이 주어지게 되면 입자들 표면에 자성력을 띄는 물질들을 말한다. 본 연구에서는 자성체 종류들 가운데 가장 높은 자성력을 지닌 강자성체(Ferromagnetic Substance)를 물리적 지지체로 하여 산화과정, 실란과정, 합성과정을 거쳐 강자성체 입자의 표면에 프러시안 블루를 합성한 새로운 형태에 합성체를 제조하고, 제조된 합성체를 이용하여 수중에 존재하는 세슘 제거 능력을 평가하였다. 제조된 합성체의 물리적 특성을 분석하기 위하여 SEM, XRD를 이용하여 합성체 입자의 표면 분석을 진행하였다. 합성체의 세슘 제거 능력을 평가하기 위하여 임의 제조된 0.5mg/L의 세슘 농도를 가진 원수 100ml에 제조된 새로운 형태의 합성체 1g을 투입한 뒤 1분간의 반응시간 동안 반응한 이후 잔류 세슘을 측정한 결과 수중의 존재하는 세슘에 대해 99.9%의 세슘 제거율을 기록하였다. 자가분리(Magnetic Seperate)의 원리를 이용하여 수중으로부터 회수율을 측정한 결과, 99%의 합성체 회수율을 얻었다. 실험결과를 통해 외부자기장이 주어지게 되면 수중으로부터 합성체를 대부분 분리하여 회수할 수 있다고 판단된다. 본 연구를 통해 개발된 새로운 형태의 합성체는 수중의 세슘 처리 공정에서 사용자가 직접 접촉하지 않고 세슘제거 및 외부자기장을 통해 수중으로부터 분리가 가능한 합성체라고 판단된다.

  • Generally Container can be seperated from FCL and LCL. The LCL cargo can be evaluated as a cargo that makes it possible to attract a relatively stable volume and create added value. The aim of this study is to suggest improvement plan for atrracting LCL cargo in Pyeongtaek Port. In order to achieve the object of the study, The research structure is following. 1) analyzing a movement path of the LCL cargo occurring in Pan Yellow-Sea. 2) analyzing the problems to handle LCL cargoes in Pyeongtaek Port. The basic data for analyzing the movement path of LCL Cargoes utilize the data of the Customs Service. and the problems of LCL freight handled suggested from forwarder, carferry liners, and bonded warehouse companies by interview. In this study, We use Fuzzy-AHP as the methodology to analyze the importance of attracting major improvement for LCL shipments in Pyeongtaek Port. As the result, The expansion of inspection equipment and personnel was presented as the most important improvement too solve the clearance problems that is the most serious problems in Pyeongtaek Port. and The realization of incentive payments that local government pay for Profitability of related companies are needed.

An analysis on the Investment Determinants for Urban Business Hotel Development (도심 비즈니스호텔 개발사업의 투자결정요인에 관한 연구)

  • As the demand for urban business hotel has increased in the recent years due to the sharp rise in overseas tourists, the potential of business hotel development has gained in financial attention for the real estate investment. However, its concept and business domain has not been defined, and none of investment guidance for the development has not been clarified. Accordingly, this report intends to define the concept of urban business hotel in perspective of real estate investment through prior case studies and literature review, and provide the structure of determinants which control its investment decisions. Furthermore, this study develops the weight of determinants depending on the type of investment, and evaluate the two actual projects in urban area of Seoul, differed from investment type: direct and indirect, based on AHP and Fuzzy methodologies. Research finding indicate that the financial factors affecting the sales and tour business condition factors are critical determinants regardless of investment type. And it is notable that the direct investment perspective pays more attention on the finance and investment associated determinants while the indirect one more focuses on the regional and environmental ones. From the analysis of case evaluation, it is also noteworthy that the direct investors turn out to be more conservative than indirect investors due to the risk of equity capital investment.

Facial Expression Control of 3D Avatar by Hierarchical Visualization of Motion Data (모션 데이터의 계층적 가시화에 의한 3차원 아바타의 표정 제어)

  • This paper presents a facial expression control method of 3D avatar that enables the user to select a sequence of facial frames from the facial expression space, whose level of details the user can select hierarchically. Our system creates the facial expression spare from about 2,400 captured facial frames. But because there are too many facial expressions to select from, the user faces difficulty in navigating the space. So, we visualize the space hierarchically. To partition the space into a hierarchy of subspaces, we use fuzzy clustering. In the beginning, the system creates about 11 clusters from the space of 2,400 facial expressions. The cluster centers are displayed on 2D screen and are used as candidate key frames for key frame animation. When the user zooms in (zoom is discrete), it means that the user wants to see mort details. So, the system creates more clusters for the new level of zoom-in. Every time the level of zoom-in increases, the system doubles the number of clusters. The user selects new key frames along the navigation path of the previous level. At the maximum zoom-in, the user completes facial expression control specification. At the maximum, the user can go back to previous level by zooming out, and update the navigation path. We let users use the system to control facial expression of 3D avatar, and evaluate the system based on the results.

Design of NePID using Anomaly Traffic Analysis and Fuzzy Cognitive Maps (비정상 트래픽 분석과 퍼지인식도를 이용한 NePID 설계)

  • The rapid growth of network based IT systems has resulted in continuous research of security issues. Probe intrusion detection is an area of increasing concerns in the internet community. Recently, a number of probe intrusion detection schemes have been proposed based on various technologies. However, the techniques, which have been applied in many systems, are useful only for the existing patterns of probe intrusion. They can not detect new patterns of probe intrusion. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a new Probe Intrusion Detection technology that can find new patterns of probe intrusion. In this paper, we proposed a new network based probe intrusion detector(NePID) using anomaly traffic analysis and fuzzy cognitive maps that can detect intrusion by the denial of services attack detection method utilizing the packet analyses. The probe intrusion detection using fuzzy cognitive maps capture and analyze the packet information to detect syn flooding attack. Using the result of the analysis of decision module, which adopts the fuzzy cognitive maps, the decision module measures the degree of risk of denial of service attack and trains the response module to deal with attacks. For the performance evaluation, the "IDS Evaluation Data Set" created by MIT was used. From the simulation we obtained the max-average true positive rate of 97.094% and the max-average false negative rate of 2.936%. The true positive error rate of the NePID is similar to that of Bernhard's true positive error rate.

Multi-FNN Identification by Means of HCM Clustering and ITs Optimization Using Genetic Algorithms (HCM 클러스터링에 의한 다중 퍼지-뉴럴 네트워크 동정과 유전자 알고리즘을 이용한 이의 최적화)

  • In this paper, the Multi-FNN(Fuzzy-Neural Networks) model is identified and optimized using HCM(Hard C-Means) clustering method and genetic algorithms. The proposed Multi-FNN is based on Yamakawa's FNN and uses simplified inference as fuzzy inference method and error back propagation algorithm as learning rules. We use a HCM clustering and Genetic Algorithms(GAs) to identify both the structure and the parameters of a Multi-FNN model. Here, HCM clustering method, which is carried out for the process data preprocessing of system modeling, is utilized to determine the structure of Multi-FNN according to the divisions of input-output space using I/O process data. Also, the parameters of Multi-FNN model such as apexes of membership function, learning rates and momentum coefficients are adjusted using genetic algorithms. A aggregate performance index with a weighting factor is used to achieve a sound balance between approximation and generalization abilities of the model. The aggregate performance index stands for an aggregate objective function with a weighting factor to consider a mutual balance and dependency between approximation and predictive abilities. According to the selection and adjustment of a weighting factor of this aggregate abjective function which depends on the number of data and a certain degree of nonlinearity, we show that it is available and effective to design an optimal Multi-FNN model. To evaluate the performance of the proposed model, we use the time series data for gas furnace and the numerical data of nonlinear function.

  • 하천 세내지 주변은 급속한 시가지 조성과 인구밀집으로 유역의 불투수층이 증가하여 홍수도달시간이 짧아지고 홍수유출량이 증가하고 있다. 또한 엘리뇨${\cdot}$라니냐 등의 이상기후로 홍수사상의 발생 빈도와 규모가 증가하면서 홍수피해도 대형화되어 가고 있다. 그러나 치수사업은 다른 공공사업에 비해 경제성이 저평가 되어 투자우선순위가 밀려 사업시행이 지연되고 예방적 차원의 대책도 미흡하여 피해가 증가하는 악순환이 계속되고 있다. 따라서 본 인구에서는 우리나라의 치수경제성 분석에 있어 계량화하지 못하고 있는 자산이용고도화 효과를 치수안전도와 더불어 분석하고자 한다. 자산이용고도화는 치수사업 시행으로 해당지역의 치수안전도 향상에 따른 자산가치의 상승을 말하는데, 특정지역의 자산가치를 가장 객관적으로 표현할 수 있는 공시지가를 근거로 분석을 수행하였다. 치수사업 시행으로 인한 편익과 하천 특성에 따른 지가변동률의 차이가 통계적으로 유의성이 있는지를 분산분석을 통해 검증하였으면, 자산가치의 상승을 순수 연평균지가변동률로 나타내었다. 치수안전도는 홍수피해 잠재성과 홍수방어능력으로 구분하였는데 홍수피해 잠재성은 도시화율에 따라 구분하였고, 홍수방어능력은 홍수량의 빈도해석과 불확실성을 고려하여 조건부 비초과확률로 나타내었다. 본 연구에서는 소도시 지역(경안천, 복하천, 청미천)을 대상으로 200년 빈도의 홍수사상에 내해 10년, 50년 설계빈도로 건설된 제방의 조건부 비초과확률을 산정하여 지가변동률의 추이를 비교 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 소도시 지역에서는 조건부 비초과확률이 $10\%$ 상승했을 때 순수 연평균지가변동률이 5배정도 상승함을 알 수 있었다.다시 입력자료로 사용하는 업데이트 방식을 사용하기 때문에 예측결과의 오차가 완전하게 보정되지 않으면 다음 결과에 역시 오차를 주게 되어 오차보정이 상당히 중요하다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 오차를 보다 효과적으로 보정하기 위해서는 퍼지제어에 사용되는 퍼지규칙의 수를 늘리고, 유입량에 직접적인 영향을 주는 강우량과 연계한 2변수의 Fuzzy-Grey 모형을 이용한다면 보다 정확한 유입량 예측이 가능할 것으로 사료된다.이 작은 오차를 발생하였으며, 전체적으로 퍼프 모형이 입자모형보다는 훨씬 적은 수의 계산을 통해서도 작은 오차를 나타낼 수 있다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 그러나 Gaussian 분포를 갖는 퍼프모형은 전단흐름에서의 긴 유선형 농도분포를 모의할 수 없었고, 이에 관한 오차는 전단계수가 증가함에 따라 비선형적으로 증가하였다. 향후, 보다 다양한 흐름영역에서 장${\cdot}$단점 분석 및 오차해석을 수행한 후에 각각의 Lagrangian 모형의 장점만을 갖는 모형결합 방법을 제시할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.mm/$m^{2}$로 감소한 소견을 보였다. 승모판 성형술은 전 승모판엽 탈출증이 있는 두 환아에서 동시에 시행하였다. 수술 후 1년 내 시행한 심초음파에서 모든 환아에서 단지 경등도 이하의 승모판 폐쇄 부전 소견을 보였다. 수술 후 조기 사망은 없었으며, 합병증으로는 유미흉이 한 명에서 있었다. 술 후 10개월째 허혈성 확장성 심근증이 호전되지 않아 Dor 술식을 시행한 후 사망한 예를 제외한 나머지 6명은 특이 증상 없이 정상 생활 중이다 결론: 좌관상동맥 페동맥이상 기시증은 드물기는 하나, 영유아기에 심근경색 및 허혈성 심근증 또는 선천성 승모

  • Financial technology (FinTech) is an emerging financial service sector include innovations in financial literacy and investment, retail banking, education, and crypto-currencies like bitcoin. One of the crucial branch of financial technology-third-party payment (TPP) is undergoing rapid growth, with online/mobile systems replacing offline financial systems. System quality and user attitudes are key perceptions driving third-party payment usage, the importance of these perceptions, however, may be different with countries as users' thinking varies from country to country. Thus, the purpose of this study is to elaborate how factors differ from China to Korea by drawing on the unified theory of acceptance and use of technology (UTAUT2). Additionally, this study also aims to propose a multi-attribute evaluation of the third-party online payment system based on analytic hierarchy process (AHP), fuzzy sets and technique for order performance by similarity to ideal solution (TOPSIS), to examine the relative importance of the perceptions influencing new technology adoption intention. The results showed that the price value has the most significant influence on Chinese perceptions, while the perceived credibility has the most significant effect on Korean perceptions. Sub-criteria also performs different results to Chinese and Korean third-party online payment system.
