  • 생산공정 스케줄링 시스템(GPSS)에서 그레이팅(grating)이라는 금속제품을 생산하는데 있어 절단계획을 생성하기 위해 생산공정 단계 중의 하나인 절단계획 단계에서 자재 손실율을 비교하고 있다. 그러나 태스크나 그룹을 병합하여 절단계획을 생성한다고 해서 태스크나 그룹을 병합하지 않고 절단계획을 생성한 것보다 잔재의 손실율이 낮다고 볼 수 없기 때문에 잔재의 손실율을 반복적으로 비교해야 하는 불편함이 있다. 본 논문에서는 언어 변수를 사용한 공정 전문가의 지식을 기반으로 각 룰을 병렬로 1회만 적용하여 잔재 손실율이 가장 작은 것을 찾아 낼 수 있는 퍼지전문가 시스템 적용으로 절단계획을 생성하고자 한다.

Auto Temperature-Controlled System using Adaptive Fuzzy Controller for Gas Furnace (적응 퍼지 제어를 이용한 가스로 자동온도조절 시스템)

  • In this paper, for auto temperature-controlled, we developed a system that an adaptive fuzzy controller using fuzzy control rule base, fuzzy variable and fuzzy inference can get same results as an expert of temperature -controlled gas furnace system by experience and obtained a good result by experiment. It's results showed that temperature error is less than ${\pm}2^{\circ}C$ and widely used in the area of industrial fields. For measurement of error rate of sintered ceramic products between the manual system and the proposed system, we tested two times sample A and B respectively. We verified the improvement of error rate was mean 50.5% and 48.4% for each sample A and B. Through the experiments, we confirmed that it has very superior performance compared with the conventional gas furnace system by manual.

The Design of the Fuzzy Logic Controller for Controlling the Speed in the Zero-Crossing Speed Region of a Hydraulic System (유압시스템의 극저속 속도제어를 위한 퍼지논리 제어기의 설계)

  • Due to the friction characteristic of pump, cylinder, and between passenger car and the rail, there exist dead zone in the hydraulic system actuated with inverter, which can not be controlled by a PID controller. In this paper, the friction characteristic of a cylinder is considered first, which may cause the uncontrolled speed in the zero-crossing speed region. And then, the zooming fuzzy logic controller is designed to overcome the drawback by the existing PID speed controller. Finally, The proposed hybrid fuzzy controller is applied to the PID controller in the normal speed region and to the fuzzy controller in the zero-crossing speed region. The reason is that the problem of the uncontrolled speed in the zero-crossing speed region caused by the friction characteristic of the cylinder in hydraulic elevator can be solved, and the effectiveness of the controlling system not only in the zero-crossing speed region but also the overall controlling region including steady-state can be simulated and performed.

  • Due to the friction characteristics of cylinders and the rail of a passenger car, in the system actuated with hydraulic systems, there exist dead zones, which can not be controlled by a PID controller. In this paper, the friction characteristics of a cylinder is examined, which may cause the abrupt increase of the acceleration in the zero-crossing speed region. To overcome the drawbacks of a PID controlled hydraulic system, a zooming fuzzy logic controller is designed and finally an improved hybrid controller is Proposed. The proposed controller is composed of the PID controller and the zooming fuzzy controller. The effectiveness of the proposed control scheme is shown by simulation and experimental results, In which the proposed hybrid control method yields good control performance not only in the zero-crossing speed region but also In the overall control region including steady-state region.

  • The slow port scan attack detection is the one of the important topics in the network security. We suggest an abnormal traffic control framework to detect slow port scan attacks using fuzzy rules. The abnormal traffic control framework acts as an intrusion prevention system to suspicious network traffic. It manages traffic with a stepwise policy: first decreasing network bandwidth and then discarding traffic. In this paper, we show that our abnormal traffic control framework effectively detects slow port scan attacks traffic using fuzzy rules and a stepwise policy.

  • In telerobot systems, visual servoing of a task object for a slave arm with an eye-in-hand has drawn an interesting attention. As such a task ingenerally conducted in an unstructured environment, it is very difficult to define the inverse feature Jacobian matrix. To overcome this difficulty, this paper proposes an auto-tuning fuzzy rule-based visual servo algorithm. In this algorithm, a visual servo controller composed of fuzzy rules, receives feature errors as inputs and generates the change of have position as outputs. The fuzzy rules are tuned by using steepest gradient method of the cost function, which is defined as a quadratic function of feature errors. Since the fuzzy rules are tuned automatically, this method can be applied to the visual servoing of a slave arm in real time. The effctiveness of the proposed algorithm is verified through a series of simulations and experiments. The results show that through the learning procedure, the slave arm and track object in real time with reasonable accuracy.

  • In the frequency response analysis using a modal method, it is very important to determine the number of modes involved with the formulation of a frequency response function. Most engineers are inclined to determine mode truncation with their experience. But it is difficult for non-experts to decide the mode truncation reasonably in many problems of dynamic analyses. In this study, fuzzy theory is used to standardize the empirical determination of mode truncation so that not only the experts but also non-experts can decide a Proper mode truncation easily. Fuzzy rule base is based on the simulation results using finite element method. Numerical simulations show that the developed mode truncation method is a very effective method to choose the number of the considered modes.

  • 무선 인프라와 이동성 지원 기술의 발달로 한 장소에서 머물던 무선 인터넷 서비스를 이동 중에도 받을 수 있게 되었다. 이러한 환경의 변화로 인해 모바일 기기의 이동성에 대한 관심은 더욱 더 커지고 있으며, 이동성뿐만 아니라 유선과 마찬가지로 끊김 없는 서비스를 받고자 하는 요구도 높아지고 있다. 모바일 노드의 이동성을 지원하기 위해서 기존 네트워크 계층의 Mobile IP 와는 달리 전송 계층에서 동작하는 mSCTP (mobile Stream Control Transmission Protocol)가 등장하였다. mSCTP 는 기존 SCTP 의 멀티호밍과 동적으로 IP 주소를 변경할 수 있는 DAR (Dynamic Address Resolution) 시그널을 이용하여 모바일 노드의 핸드오프를 지원하고 있다. 하지만, IP 주소의 추가, 변경 및 삭제에 대한 각 시그널의 전송 시기에 대한 정의가 없어 전송 시기를 결정하는 메커니즘이 필요하다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 퍼지 IF-THEN 룰을 적용한 퍼지 모델을 이용하여 이러한 문제점을 해결하고자 한다. 모바일 노드가 이동하게 될 새로운 네트워크의 신호 세기와 현재 네트워크 신호와의 신호비를 퍼지 모델에 입력하고 그 결과 값을 통해 시그널 전송 시기를 판단한다. 모바일 노드는 핸드오프 시기를 적절히 판단 할 수 있기 때문에 잘못된 핸드오프로 인한 세션의 단절을 줄일 수 있고, 기존에 발생하던 핸드오프 지연 시간을 줄일 수 있어 이동 중에도 손실 없는 서비스를 제공 받을 수 있게 된다.

  • Maglev using EMS becomes unstable by unexpected big air-gap disturbance. The main causes of the unexpected air-gap disturbance are step-wise rail joint and large distance between rail splices. For the stable operation of the Maglev, the conventional system uses the threshold method, which selects one gap sensor among two gap sensors installed on the magnet to read the gap between magnet and guide rail. But the threshold method with a wide bandwidth makes the discontinuous air-gap signal at the rail joints because of the offset in air gap sensors and/or the step-wise rail joins. Further more, in the case of the one with a narrow bend-width, it makes Maglev system unstable because of frequent alternation. In this paper, a new method using fuzzy rule to reduce air-gap disturbances proposed to improve the stability of Maglev system. It treats the air-gap signal from dual gap sensors effectively to make continuous signal without air gap disturbance. Simulation and experiment results proved that the proposed scheme was effective to reduce air-gap disturbance from dual gap sensors in rail joints.

  • In this paper, an evaluation model of disaster management system which is developed by using GRI G3 version and BCP process for the sustainability management of small and middle enterprises was proposed. The proposed evaluation model can be used to evaluate the disaster management system directly, and to establish the disaster management system as an index. Also, the rules obtained by pattern analysis using fuzzy ID3 for the proposed evaluation model are expected to use the guideline effectively for self evaluation in the small and middle enterprises.
