  • 퍼지 관계 개념을 응용한 퍼지 정보 검색은 형태론에 입각한 기존의 정보 검색과는 달리 문서와 용어의 의미론에 근거하는 정보검색을 할 수 있다. 퍼지 정보 검색은 문헌의 집합 용어의 집합으로 나누고 문헌과 용어의 관계성을 문서 $\times$ 용어이 관계 행렬로 나타내며 퍼지 관계곱 연산을 이용하여 시소러스(thesaurus)를 형성하고 사용자로부터 주어진 질의 적합한 문서를 제공한다. 그러나 이러한 퍼지 관계곱 연산은 매우 큰 시간 복합도를 요구하는 연산이고 퍼지값은 부동소수점으로 표현해야하므로 대용량의 문서 시스템에 적용할 수 없어 비현실적이다. 부동소수점 연산은 연산속도가 느리고 저장공간도 많이 요구하므로 부동소수점 연산을 비트 연산으로 대체할 수 있다면 처리속도와 처리공간에 있어 성능 향상을 기대할 수 있다. 본 연구는 퍼지 정보 검색의 시소러스 형성에 있어 $\alpha$-cut 적용의 시기를 조정하여 성능을 향상하는 방법을 제안한다.

  • 본 논문에서는 다중 출력을 가지는 퍼지 관계 기반 퍼지뉴럴네트워크를 설계한다. 퍼지 관계 기반 퍼지뉴럴네트워크는 선체 인력 변수에 따른 입력 공간을 분할함으로서 네트워크를 구성한다. 규칙의 전반부는 앞서 언급한 전체 입력 공간을 분할하여 표현하고, 규칙의 후반부는 다항식으로서 표현되며 오류역전파 알고리즘을 이용하여 연결가중치인 후반부 다항식을 학습한다. 또한, 각 입력에 대만 전반부 멤버쉽함수의 정점과 학습률 및 모멤텀 계수를 유전자 알고리즘을 이용하여 최적 동조한다. 따라서 유전자 알고리즘을 이용하여 퍼지뉴럴네트워크를 최적 설계한다. 마지막으로 제안된 모델은 표준 모델로서 널리 사용되는 수치적인 예를 통하여 평가한다.

  • We developed the decision support system by using the fuzzy theory. This system designs harmonious color space according to the linguistic input. This input represents the atmosphere which the user want. If the linguistic input of adjective image scale is given in the developed system, the relation between the adjective and color is supposed as fuzzy relation. The color which match with the whole atmosphere of color space is selected. The search region of harmonious color decision is controlled by the knowledge on color harmony of Moon-Spencer. Harmonious color is selected by it.

  • Fuzzy rules, developed by experts thus far, may be often inconsistent and incomplete. This paper proposes a new methodology for automatic generation of fuzzy rules which are nearly complete and not inconsistent. This is accomplished by simulating a knowledge gathering process of humans from control experiences. This method is simpler and more efficient than existing ones. It is shown through simulation that our method even generates better rules than those generated by experts, under fine tuned parameters.

  • 본 논문에서는 주어진 데이터를 나누어 부분공간으로 구성하여 특성을 구분하거나 또다른 모델의 입력 파라미터로 제공하는 방법 중 하나의 클러스터링의 성능 개선과 이를 이용하여 퍼지 모델링을 실시하였다. 일반적인 클러스터링에서 볼 수 있는 초기 파라미터 결정 문제와 알고리즘의 수렴 문제에 대하여 문제점을 개선하였으며 클러스터링에 의하여 추정된 파라미터를 퍼지 모델에 적용하였다. 또한 일반적인 퍼지 모델의 경우 각 입력의 차원이 서로 독립적으로 구성되어 있어 데이터에서 존재하는 입력간의 상관관계를 고려하지 않았다. 제안된 퍼지 모델에서는 클러스터링에서 추정된 입력간의 상관관계(공분산)까지 고려하여 모델의 성능을 개선하였다. 제안된 논문의 유용성을 시뮬레이션을 통하여 보이고자 한다.

Camera Calibration Using the Fuzzy Model (퍼지 모델을 이용한 카메라 보정에 관한 연구)

  • In this paper, we propose a new camera calibration method which is based on a fuzzy model instead of a physical camera model of the conventional method. The camera calibration is to determine the correlation between camera image coordinate and real world coordinate. The camera calibration method using a fuzzy model can not estimate camera physical parameters which can be obtained in the conventional methods. However, the proposed method is very simple and efficient because it can determine the correlation between camera image coordinate and real world coordinate without any restriction, which is the objective of camera calibration. With calibration points acquired out of experiments, 3-D real world coordinate and 2-D image coordinate are estimated using the fuzzy modeling method and the results of the experiments demonstrate the validity of the proposed method.

  • Landslides are caused by complex interaction among a large number of interrelated factors such as topography, geology, forest and soils. In this study, a comparative study was carried out using fuzzy relationship method and artificial neural network to evaluate landslide susceptibility. For landslide susceptibility mapping, maps of the landslide occurrence locations, slope angle, aspect, curvature, lithology, soil drainage, soil depth, soil texture, forest type, forest age, forest diameter and forest density were constructed from the spatial data sets. In fuzzy relation analysis, the membership values for each category of thematic layers have been determined using the cosine amplitude method. Then the integration of different thematic layers to produce landslide susceptibility map was performed by Cartesian product operation. In artificial neural network analysis, the relative weight values for causative factors were determined by back propagation algorithm. Landslide susceptibility maps prepared by two approaches were validated by ROC(Receiver Operating Characteristic) curve and AUC(Area Under the Curve). Based on the validation results, both approaches show excellent performance to predict the landslide susceptibility but the performance of the artificial neural network was superior in this study area.

  • A land-speculation is to occur on a space. A purpose of this study interprets land speculation in a viewpoint of spatial, and to carry out effective decision-making about areas that land-speculation can be arise At the time of this, the focus of spatial interpretation Is recognition of a spatial continuity and consideration of a spatial association. In this study, I used fuzzy sets in order to recognize spatial continuity and. therefore a value in 0-1 was granted all area. And in order to consider spatial associations. carried out a local spatial association (Local Moran's I). Also. I introduced the spatial expert support systems (SESS) one of the computer-based decision support systems to dr efficient decision-making about a land-speculation in an object area. After that, as a case study I carried out decision-making about land-speculation's occurrence in the Seoul-Kyeonggi (2/4 quarter in 2001)

  • In this paper, an efficient fuzzy rule generation scheme for adaptive neuro-fuzzy system modeling using the Independent Component Analysis(ICA) as a preprocessing is proposed. Correlation between inputs was not considered in the conventional neuro- fuzzy modeling schemes, such that enormous number of rules and large amount of error were unavoidable. The correlation between inputs is weakened by employing ICA so that the number of rules and the amount of error are reduced. In simulation, the Box-Jenkins furnace data is used to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method.

  • In this paper, we proposed Interval Type-2 polynomial Radial Basis Function Neural Networks. In the receptive filed of hidden layer, Interval Type-2 fuzzy set is used. The characteristic of Interval Type-2 fuzzy set has Footprint Of Uncertainly(FOU), which denotes a certain level of robustness in the presence of un-known information when compared with the type-1 fuzzy set. In order to improve the performance of proposed model, we used the linear polynomial function as connection weight of network. The parameters such as center values of receptive field, constant deviation, and connection weight between hidden layer and output layer are optimized by Conjugate Gradient Method(CGM) and Space Search Evolutionary Algorithm(SSEA). The proposed model is applied to gas furnace dataset and its result are compared with those reported in the previous studies.
