  • Recently, Mobile Social Network Game market has grown rapidly because Smart devices has been spreading to many people and improving performance. Push notification, which is a success factor of the mobile social network game brought about stress to the user. However, there is no study on push notifications in the mobile social network game; it was difficult to understand for the use of push notifications. The Games of Kakao talk platform has various push notification system and provides detailed descriptions. On the other hand, the game linked to Facebook has minimal push notification system. In the future, if game companies develop push notification system by the characteristics of user, mobile social network games be able to derive the user's use continuously.

  • Hamel has a scholastic value as the first person, who announces Jeju and Korea to Europe. However, there has been little research on developing digital contents except a few books about Hamel. We develop an educational game on PDA using Hamel, based on Hamel character, Jeju's unique culture, multimedia technology, and so on. Compared with the previous games, it is different from the form of gathering points and has various game scenarios through interactions between Hamel character and game space. The structure of this game, which connects Jeju culture and cyber space together, represents the form of a digital storytelling. You can study through this game. It uses quizzes about Jeju culture, crossword puzzles, finding a sequence, finding differences between two pictures to teach users, and fixing pieces of a figure, etc. When we made the game, we divided it into some independent modules to make new game series easily using contents of the other provinces.

  • In school mathematics, activities to make particular convex polygons by attaching edgewise some pieces of tangram are introduced. This paper focus on deepening these activities. In this paper, by using Pick's Theorem and 和 草's method, all the convex polygons by attaching edgewise seven pieces of tangram, Sei Shonagon(淸少納言)'s tangram, and Pythagoras puzzle are found out respectively. By using Pick's Theorem to the square seven-piece puzzles satisfying conditions of the length of edge, it is showed that the number of convex polygons by attaching edgewise seven pieces of them can not exceed 20. And same result is obtained by generalizing 和 草's method. The number of convex polygons by attaching edgewise seven pieces of tangram, Sei Shonagon's tangram, and Pythagoras puzzle are 13, 16, and 12 respectively.

  • A large part of the wireless Internet contents which the young people access through their mobile phones is mobile games. However, mobile games currently available in the market are mostly simple entertainment packages, and there are hardly any educational game contents. This research divided the middle school computer education curriculum into five parts-common PC knowledge, operating systems, word processor, Internet, and multimedia-and designed and implemented a crossword puzzles mobile game. The mobile game designed in this research was given an emphasis to allow access of school lesson contents anywhere and anytime through actual mobile telecommunication networks, so that the students may experience less barrier to more fun and entertaining educational contents. The developed educational mobile game was applied on 2nd year middle school students. The mobile game had positive educational effects.

  • What van Fraassen calls 'Reflection Principle' is claimed to meet several counterexamples, one of which stands out in the form of the Sleeping Beauty problem. Adam Elga argues that what he believes is the correct answer to the Sleeping Beauty problem shows that Reflection is subject to counterexamples. David Lewis proposes a different answer which preserves Reflection intact. Recently, Nick Bostrom presents a hybrid view which is supposed to allow us to keep Reflection. In proposing his hybrid view Bostrom criticizes both Elga and Lewis while taking some 'good' parts from each. He claims that Elga's view is not entirely acceptable because it presupposes the 'Self-Indication Assumption'. I shall claim, however, that Elga could avoid Bostrom's criticisms by introducing Bostrom's notion of agent-part. I believe that several probability-related puzzles including the Sleeping Beauty problem indicate a promising view concerning the way we should regard our future selves' opinions. According to this view, whether one takes the outsider stance or insider stance makes a difference in an important way that one and the same proposition is associated with different degrees of belief by one agent.

  • In this study, to analyze the factors affecting the purchase of smart device applications, research model based on AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process) model was employed and derived consumers' priorities of smart device game applications in the framework of contents characteristic factors. Survey was conducted with 10 experts who are involved in the smart game industry. The empirical result showed that the most important purchasing factor was story(0.217). And fame(0.171), graphics(0.134), operability(0.111), information(0.093), difficulty(0.085), speed(0.068), characters(0.053), price(0.042), genre(0.028) are presented in order in terms of the importance. The order of consumers' preferences to smart device game application was RPG, Tycoon, action, simulation, sports/leisure, quiz/puzzle/board, etc. gamble. It suggested that under the environment of smart devices consumers could enjoy not only simple puzzle and board game but also complicated and difficult games such as RPG and tycoon game due to the development of smart devices.

  • An on-line game is growing of very fast through characters of the interactive Computing and internet environment. In addition, an edu-game combing the advantages of the game and the education increase gradually. The paper proposes an edu-game system for providing knowledge through the hierarchical structure. The system differs from existing ones that combine a game and an on-line education. There are three different goals as follows. First, the paper proposes three-level of knowledge hierarchies. The method enables users to understand more easy and systematic and interesting education. Second, the graphic interface of a puzzle type is able to contact more conveniently and it provides beauties and functionalities. Third, Among them, specifically the knowledge hierarchy is not forced to users and the method also can study in detail and users can enjoy systematically e-education by using the general type of a puzzle game.

  • This paper finds the regular pattern of n = [3, ∞] for Euler square game related with n = 6(6×6=36) thirty-six officer problem that is still unsolved problem. The solution of this problem is exists for n = [3, 10] without n = 6. Also, previous researchers finds the random assigned solution for specific number using computer programming. Therefore, the solution of n = [11, ∞] Euler squares are unsolved problem because of anything but easy. This paper attempts to find generalized patterns for domains that have been extended to n = [3, ∞], while existing studies have been limited to n = [3, 10]. This paper classify the n = [3, ∞] into n = odd, 4k even, 4k+2 even of three classes. Then we find the simple regular pattern solution for n = odd and 4k even(n/2 = even). But we can't find the regular pattern for 4k+2 even(n/2 = odd).

  • In this paper, in order to compose the visual perception cognitive function training content that can be linked with the IPUZZLE image block, an interactive content device that utilizes photos and videos of smartphones. Four areas of visual memory, visual continuity, spatial relationship, and visual discrimination were derived and the content operation, application method, and scenario were written. It was intended to continuously give and induce children's desire to participate in training by designing the content image and developing the existing learning terrain visual and perceptual cognitive function training materials in the form of mobile mini-games. Experiential activities were conducted for general children and their guardians using the developed contents, and the results were found to be significant in terms of concentration, effect, and effect compared to basic puzzle toys. It is expected that this thesis will be a meaningful data for the study of cognitive function improvement activities based on digital toys and contents.

  • We investigated the feasibility of utilizing Large Language Models (LLMs) to perform text-based games without training on game data in advance. We adopted ChatGPT-3.5 and its state-of-the-art, ChatGPT-4, as the systems that implemented LLM. In addition, we added the persistent memory feature proposed in this paper to ChatGPT-4 to create three game player agents. We used Zork, one of the most famous text-based games, to see if the agents could navigate through complex locations, gather information, and solve puzzles. The results showed that the agent with persistent memory had the widest range of exploration and the best score among the three agents. However, all three agents were limited in solving puzzles, indicating that LLM is vulnerable to problems that require multi-level reasoning. Nevertheless, the proposed agent was still able to visit 37.3% of the total locations and collect all the items in the locations it visited, demonstrating the potential of LLM.
