Linear Resource Sharing Method for Query Optimization of Sliding Window Aggregates in Multiple Continuous Queries (다중 연속질의에서 슬라이딩 윈도우 집계질의 최적화를 위한 선형 자원공유 기법)

  • A stream processor uses resource sharing method for efficient of limited resource in multiple continuous queries. The previous methods process aggregate queries to consist the level structure. So insert operation needs to reconstruct cost of the level structure. Also a search operation needs to search cost of aggregation information in each size of sliding windows. Therefore this paper uses linear structure for optimization of sliding window aggregations. The method comprises of making decision, generation and deletion of panes in sequence. The decision phase determines optimum pane size for holding accurate aggregate information. The generation phase stores aggregate information of data per pane from stream buffer. At the deletion phase, panes are deleted that are no longer used. The proposed method uses resources less than the method where level structures were used as data structures as it uses linear data format. The input cost of aggregate information is saved by calculating only pane size of data though numerous stream data is arrived, and the search cost of aggregate information is also saved by linear searching though those sliding window size is different each other. In experiment, the proposed method has low usage of memory and the speed of query processing is increased.

A Study on Three-Dimensional Flow Analysis and Noise Source of Sirocco Fan (시로코 팬의 3차원 유동해석 및 소음원에 관한 연구)

  • This study examined the flow and noise inside a sirocco fan for ventilation as a commercial program. To confirm only the location and power of the noise source, flow analysis was performed with steady state flow analysis. Through flow analysis, the flow was observed in the sirocco fan and the velocity vector. The pressure distribution inside was observed with contours. From the results of steady analysis, the position and size of the noise source could be seen using the 'Curle surface acoustic power' and 'Proudman acoustic power'. The Curle surface acoustic power can be used to observe the noise from the surface. The Proudman acoustic power can be used to detect noise generated in the flow region because the position and size of the noise source generated inside the sirocco fan can be seen only in the steady state. Therefore it is necessary to further analyze the unsteady state to check the frequency of the noise generated. This study provides basic data for improving the performance of the Sirocco fan and reducing the noise.

  • Because of the exposed blade, the UAV using the rotors entail the risks during operation. While a wrapped duct around the fan blades reduces risks, it is a higher thrust performance than the same power load rotor. In this paper, for applying advantages of a ducted fan, the tri-ducted fan air vehicle configuration is proposed. The vehicle has three ducted fans. Two of them are the same shape and size and the third one is the smaller. It is possible to control a rapid attitude stability using thrust vector control. The equations of motion of the tri-ducted fan were derived. Lyapunov control input was applied to the system and stable inputs were derived. A nonlinear simulation was fulfilled by using parameters of a prototype vehicle. It verified a stable attitude and analyzed results.

An investigation on analysis of heavy vehicle cooling fan system by radiator consideration and blade number (대형차량용 냉각팬 날개수 및 주변장치에 의한 압력강하에 따른 성능해석 연구)

  • 본 논문에서 연구하고자 하는 팬은 대형 차량용 라디에이터 냉각팬으로써 수치해석을 통한 일반적인 팬의 성능 평가시 팬과 쉬라우드의 형상만을 이용하여 시뮬레이션 하지만 라디에이터를 거쳐 공기가 유입되는 실제 현상에 좀 더 가깝게 모사하고자 라디에이터의 압력 부하를 고려한 시뮬레이션을 수행하였고 기존 해석 결과와 비교하였다. 연구된 냉각팬은 쉬라우드의 전방에 라디에이터가 설치되며 라디에이터를 통하여 공기가 유입되기 때문에 라디에이터의 압력 부하에 따라 팬 성능에 영향을 준다. 라디에이터의 압력 부하 성능을 모사하기 위하여 쉬라우드 입구에 박스 형태로 라디에이터의 외부 크기를 모델링 한 후 수치해석 시 porous media model을 사용하여 풍속에 따른 압력 강하 곡선을 적용하였다. 수치해석에서 porous media model을 적용할 경우 실제적인 형상 모델링 없이도 실험으로부터 도출한 성능곡선을 조건으로 입력하여 실제 현상에 가까운 시뮬레이션을 할 수 있다. 그리고 팬 날개수 증가에 따른 해석을 수행하여, 날개수 변경에 따른 성능개선의 여지를 확인 하였다.

  • Generally, automobile cooling fan is used to lower the temperature of radiator. The cooling fans are manufactured by plastic injection molding process. The center of gravity of cooling fan is often deviated from the center because of the use of deteriorated materials. As the unbalance of the cooing fan can generate noise, it is required to test the performance of the cooling fans. In this work, automatic fan balancer which can distinguish between the good and the bad, futhermore idenfify the position and magnitude of unbalance is develpoed.

  • 피난길이가 긴 장대터널에서 화재가 발생되면 생성된 연기가 상승하고 천장을 만나 터널의 길이방향으로 전파된다. 연기의 독성가스에 의해 질식하게 되는 인명피해를 줄이기 위해서는 발생한 화재의 크기에 따라 제연유속이 필요하며, 제연 팬의 용량과 신뢰성을 확보해야 한다.

  • 저소음 팬의 설계는 팬 성능의 저감 없이 이루어져야 한다. 따라서 저소음 팬 설계는 기본적으로 다분야간 설계 최적화 또는 다목적 설계 최적화의 문제이다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 요구를 수행하기 위해 반응면 기법을 저소음 축류 팬 설계에 적용하여 보았다. 또한 이러한 설계 단계에서 필요한 수백가지 시험 결과를 효과적으로 구하기 위해 효율적인 유동 해석 툴과 소음 해석 툴을 개발하여 적용시켰다. 마지막으로 이렇게 설계된 팬을 실제 크기로 제작 측정 비교 분석하여 적용된 기법을 검증하며 문제점에 대해 고찰해 보았다.

  • Generally, automobile cooling fan is used to lower the temperature of radiator. The cooling fans are manufactured by plastic injection molding process. The center of gravity of cooling fan is often deviated from the center due to the use of deteriorated materials. As the unbalanced of the cooing fan can generate noise, it is required to measure the degree of deviation of center of gravity in the cooling fan. In this work, automatic fan balancer which can effectively detect the magnitude and position of the unbalanced cooling fan is proposed and several experiments are carried out to verify the feasibility of the proposed algorithm.

  • 본 연구는 지벡(Seebeck)효과를 이용한 열전발전소자의 효율증가를 위한 Cooling System에 대한 연구이다. 열전발전소자는 Hot side와 Cool side의 온도차에 의해 전력발생 효율이 결정되며 열전발전소자가 견딜 수 있는 Hot Side의 온도는 고정돼있는 반면, Cool Side의 온도는 Cooling System의 설계에 따라 온도 설정이 가능하다. 본 연구는 Cooling System은 방열판과 팬으로 구성된 공랭방식을 사용하였고, 냉각효율을 높이기 위해 방열판의 크기 및 모양 팬의 크기와 속도 공기의 이동방향에 따른 냉각특성을 실험하였고 그에 따른 특성들을 논하고자 한다.
