This study intends to 1)conform the possibility to transform the enumerated scheme into the faceted scheme, 2)review general theories on facet structure employed in DDC 780, and 3) analyze the facet structure of music. Findings are 1) The facet structure of DDC synthesize the standard subdivisions or specific facet indicators with basic facet. 2) facet indicator 0 is in use to indicate standard subdivision or general principle of music. and facet indicator 1 to general principles and musical forms. DDC has transformed the entire system into the facet structure through its revisions. Especially the music transformed into the facet structure employes the facet indicators and applies them to all the systems in music. But the notation have sometimes twofold meanings, and no ability to differentiate the meanings in the same notation.

This study aims to suggest a classification system for integrated management and shared use of disaster and safety information, which is currently produced and managed separately in disaster-related organizations. The study conducted a survey with organizations in charge of disaster management to analyze existing disaster-related classification systems and developed the first draft of the classification system. Later, in-depth interviews were conducted with disaster experts and a review was made by library and information science professors for the final touch. As a facet classification system consisting of 7 facets, it will be effective in supporting disaster management tasks as well as representing the complex nature of disaster and safety information.

The study acknowledges the need for classification systems in arts and cultural education. The study constructs a faceted classification system for this domain based on systematic methods. The study utilized iterative collaboration between domain experts and classification system developers. The classification system consists of 13 main facets and terms. The classification system has values to manage information resources effectively and efficiently. It is also beneficial for reducing cultural gaps in arts and cultural education as well as providing an information gateway for users.

This study is to suggest the new ideal classification scheme of revise edition of KDC. New suggestions are : using add table, diversify of note, and expand the auxiliary tables contents, add instruction like "Add to base number$\sim$notation $\sim$from table $\sim$."

본 연구는 점차로 늘어가고 있는 설계 패턴의 효율적인 관리와 재사용을 위하여 패싯 방식을 이용한 패턴 분류와 검색 방법을 제안하고 이를 UML 다이어그램으로 나타낼 수 있도록 설계 구현하였다. 재사용 가능한 설계 패턴은 기본적인 특성을 기준으로 영역별로 라이브러리에 저장하고 각 패턴의 특성을 표현하기 위하여 패싯과 항목을 설정하였다. 또한 모든 패턴의 패싯 항목에 대해 유사성을 측정하여 관련 패턴을 찾을 수 있도록 하였으며, 패턴 분류 체계에 따라 패턴을 추가.갱신함으로써 적절한 경험을 자동화된 방식으로 제공할 수 있도록 하였다. 제안한 분류 방식은 검색 결과 Gamma의 분류방법을 사용했을 때 보다 질의 작성이 간단하고 관련 패턴을 쉽게 찾을 수 있어 재사용에 용이하며 이를 UML 다이어그램으로 표현할 수 있다.

본 논문은 설계 패턴의 효율적인 관리와 재사용을 위하여 패싯 방식을 이용한 패턴 분류와 패싯 항목과 패턴간의 관련성을 이용한 패턴 검색 시소러스를 구축하였다. 저장소에 패턴들의 관계성을 정의하고 새로운 패턴을 삽입 시 임의의 패턴과의 관계성을 지정해주면 시스템은 이 패턴에 연관된 패턴들을 보여주고 사용자는 패턴과의 관계성을 지정해 준다. 패턴 검색은 입력한 질의를 추론하여 검색할 수 있도록 부울 질의 형식을 사용하였다. 그리고 기존의 시소러스의 중복성과 복잡한 비교시간을 최소화하기 위하여 "Gamma 확장 + 패싯" 분류방법을 이용하여 패턴들을 분류하였고, 본 연구의 검색 결과가 보다 더 정확한 패턴이 검색될 수 있도록 하였다.

본 연구는 컴포넌트 검색을 위해서 컴포넌트를 컨덱스트에 의해 패싯 분류하고, 컨텍스트와 특성들간의 관련값에 대한 통계적 분석에 의해 시소러스를 구축하여 다중 패싯 분류된 컴포넌트를 효율적으로 검색할 수 있는 방법을 제안하였다. 소스 코드로부터 추출된 특성은 카이제곱 방법을 통하여 간소화가 이루어지며, E-SARM 방법을 사용하여 컨텍스트의 자동 검색이 이루어질 수 있도록 하였다. 쿼리에 대해 자동 검색된 컨덱스트에 의해 후보 컴포넌트가 선정되고, 쿼리와 컴포넌트 간의 유사도가 계산됨으로써 컴포넌트가 검색될 수 있도록 하였다. 본 연구는 다중 패싯 분류된 컴포넌트의 검색에 효율적이며, 컴포넌트의 재사용성을 높일 수 있도록 하였다.

The effective searching for performing arts contents can be achieved by providing various access points and searching methods based on specialized metadata. The purpose of this study is to develop a faceted navigation interface which user could effectively and efficiently retrieve performing arts contents even if the users do not know accurate descriptive information about them. Therefore, the study, first, investigated search access points and navigation items providing by other the performing arts retrieval systems and to analyze information seeking behaviors of university students who major in music, dance and theater. And then, the study proposed the 36 facets with the 9 main facet categories suitable for performing arts and also proposed 27 descriptive elements suitable for performing arts contents. Finally, the study developed the performing arts contents retrieval system based faceted navigation interface with 3,360 experimental data and conducted an in-depth interview in terms of usability, serendipity, and efficiency. The applying the faceted navigations for searching performing arts contents will help users access and utilize them in the retrieval system and moreover satisfy user demands.

As the recognition of the importance of user-oriented services is increasing, there has been a heightened attention for finding aids that could improve the effectiveness of searching. This study tried to draw various facet elements that can be applied to the presidential records retrieval system using presidential records as cases in analyzing various resources, considering the importance of facets in finding aids for the improvement of effectiveness in searching in the future and the importance of presidential records in Korea. In drawing facet elements based on the characteristics of presidential records, the websites of the National Archives (NARA) and Presidential (Prime Ministers') Archives as well as their search options were examined as cases. In addition, the morpheme of each title of presidential records were analyzed, as well as the terms entered by the users of the Presidential Archives Portal of Korea, the terms used in the request for information disclosure toward the Presidential Archives in Korea, the search options of the Presidential Archives Portal, and the elements of the description and metadata standards. The significance of this study lies on suggesting the methodology of developing various facets as main elements in finding aids using the presidential records as cases.

본 연구는 객체지향 컴포넌트 검색을 위해서 개선된 Spreading Activation 방법을 이용하여 다중 패싯 분류된 컴포넌트를 효율적으로 검색할 수 있는 방법을 제안하였다. 객체지향 코드 기반의 관계정의를 위해 특성과 컨텍스트 간에 연관관계를 설정하고, 컨덱스트의 자동 추출을 위한 Spreading Activation 방법의 초기 활성값을 정의하였다. 쿼리에 대해 자동 검색된 컨텍스트에 의해 후보컴포넌트가 선정되고, 쿼리와 컴포넌트 간의 신뢰도가 계산됨으로써 컴포넌트가 검색될 수 있도록 하였다. 본 연구는 다중 패싯 분류된 객체지향 컴포넌트의 검색에 효율적이며, 사용자 수작업의 부담을 최대한 감소시켜 컴포넌트의 재사용성을 높일 수 있도록 하였다.
