Product development and marketing that appeal to consumer emotions are important as shown by a variety of product and service industries that integrate fashion and arts into product design and marketing through collaboration. This study attempted to analyze the patterns in the collaborations of fashion and arts across industry disciplines. A total of 278 collaboration cases reported in news articles were collected from internet databases. Cases were categorized into 5 disciplines of fashion-fashion, arts-arts, fashion-arts, fashion-other industries, and arts-other industries, with each category analyzed in frequency distribution and collaboration type along with related partner and industry characteristics. Collaborations with other industries were observed more than internal ones, and individuals (rather than firms) were more involved in collaborations. Though the collaboration characteristics were different by partner category and sub-category, by individual or firm, and by related industries, a variety of collaborations integrating fashion and arts into product design and development, a new brand launching, product line extension, and co-marketing were observed across product and industry disciplines. The study also described fashion and arts that were integrated into consumer life styles.

The environment and green are critical issues for businesses in the $21^{st}$ century. This study examines product assortments of eco-friendly products, green marketing strategies, and the marketability of Trashion products among fashion brands. Data were collected through an interview method from eight fashion brands that were actively conducting green marketing. The general activities of green marketing were to produce eco-friendly products and/or an economical support for environmental groups or green conservation campaigns. Eco-friendly products included organic cotton products, well-being products made of bamboo or beans, goods made of recycled plastic bottles, and Trashion items. The first reason was to improve the brand image, then take social responsibility, and last participate in the environmental movement. However, the price of green products and supplies of eco-friendly fabrics were the most challenging issues for fashion businesses. The marketability of Trashion products was directly opposed and managerial implications for green marketers were discussed.

This study aims to expand the scope of use for relics by applying the patterns and characteristics of embroidered fabric pieces, such as gold foil, excavated from the Mireuksa Temple Site in Iksan for fashion products. The artifact was a ra decorated with flower and vine patterns, embroidery using gold and red thread, and the unique stitching of Baekje. The pattern was reconstructed, as the embroidery was not well-preserved. This study used two types of gold-foil techniques: laser-cut and stone-stamp gold foil. Considering practicality, the gloss, toughness, custom production possibility, and design implementation were emphasized. The form of the laser-cut gold foil could be transformed; however, a recognition problem with the machine increased the thickness of the stitching. It was used for half-finished goods and commercial casual fashion. The stone-stamp gold foil was finely implemented, but the design was difficult to change. It was used for half-finished silk fabric for making hanbok po and lattice-patterned silk skirts. Applying the developed gold foil to suitable clothing can further enhance the effect.

The purpose of this study is to obtain information necessary for the development of patient clothes that can reduce physical fatigue of caregivers by quantitatively measuring the muscle load and fatigue. The patient clothes used in this study can be broken down into three types: A type (back center zipper open suit), B type (top-to bottom separated patient clothes), and C type (front zipper open suit). The EMG measurement sites are as follows: hand muscle (brachioradialis), upper arm (biceps, triceps), shoulder (anterior deltoid, medial deltoid, posterior deltoid, upper trapezius), and waist (erector spinae); additionally, the EMG signals were measured. Through this experiment, muscle load, muscle energy consumption, and muscle fatigue generation tendency were analyzed. The results of the study revealed that the C type patient clothes required the most strength in the muscles of the shoulders, upper arms, hands, and back when being put on and taken off compared to other patient clothes. The A type clothes required a relatively large force in opening the zipper. In terms of muscle energy consumption, B type generally called for more strength when it came to the zip-up and putarmsup motions. With regard to the cover the body and put legs/hips up motions, C type used the highest amount of muscle energy, whereas A type used relatively little energy. In terms of the occurrence of muscle fatigue during the putting on and taking off of the patient's clothing, there was a difference in the area and degree of muscle fatigue in the A, B, and C types, and there was also a tendency for muscle fatigue to occur when performing repetitive movements.

The pursuit of a healthier life has created life style changes through exercise; in addition, an athleisure look as well as a combination of everyday clothes and sportswear has rapidly spread through sharing based on image-based SNS. Fashion related images shown in an image-based SNS are considered important resources for grasping micro-needs with regard to the sensibility of consumers. Therefore, this study analyzes the design characteristics of an athleisure look shown in image-based SNS. In order to analyze the athleisure look, images of the entire garment were collected and classified to enable content analysis methods that analyzed the design characteristics of each type. As a result, types were classified as sporty-athleisure, modern-athleisure, high-end athleisure, retro-athleisure, and romantic-athleisure. Looking at the characteristics of the athleisure look, it was shown that the design characteristics of each type were well expressed through differences in the direction, material, and details by matching between the items used. Virtual influencers, who are emerging as new players in digital marketing, impact consumers' purchase intentions. They promote positive perceptions and mimetic consumption of specific brands or products through interactions with followers. Therefore, this study aims to examine the effect of the characteristics of virtual influencers on the purchase intention for fashion products through the consumers' mimetic desire. As characteristics of virtual influencers, five factors were set: reality, attractiveness, professionalism, trustworthiness, and curiosity. Data for analysis were collected through an online questionnaire from the 8th to the 15th of August 2023, and 268 data points in total were analyzed using SPSS and Process Macro 4.3. The results of the study showed that the characteristics of virtual influencers all positively affected mimetic desire and purchase intention for fashion products. Moreover, it was found that mimetic desire has a mediating effect between the five characteristics of virtual influencers and the purchase intention for fashion products. Mimetic desire fully mediates the relationship between reality and the intention to purchase fashion products, and partially mediates the relationship between attractiveness, professionalism, trustworthiness, and curiosity and the purchase intention for fashion products. These findings further enhance the understanding of the relationship between virtual influencers and consumer behavior and identify the relationship between virtual influencers, mimetic desire, and fashion product purchase intentions. Consequently, leveraging virtual influencers strategically in digital marketing, the fashion industry can amplify positive brand perceptions, drive consumer engagement, and ultimately foster increased purchase intent.

Artificial intelligent chatbot services have recently become common in fashion e-retailing and are expected to improve online shopping by making it easy to recommend products. This study examines whether the perceived quality of a fashion chatbot affects consumers' trust and perception of usefulness, which in turn influences satisfaction and intention to use, in accordance with the information system success model. The study also investigates differences in perceived quality and consumer response variables between high and low groups of self-efficacy. A total of 341 consumers participated in an online survey. The results revealed that information quality and system quality had a significant impact on perceived usefulness and trust, and that service quality significantly impacted trust. Perceived usefulness and trust had a positive effect on consumer satisfaction, which in turn had a positive effect on intention to use. In addition, the findings revealed that people who had higher self-efficacy showed higher scores on perceived usefulness, trust, satisfaction, and intention to use chatbots as compared to people who had lower self-efficacy. This study suggested theoretical implications by applying the information system success model theory to fashion chatbot studies. It also suggested practical implications for e-commerce marketers developing retail strategies.
