2점 계류된 선박에 대한 운동 해석 (Motion Analysis of Two Point Moored Oil Tanker)

  • The anchor is laid on seabed and the main engine is worked to against incident environmental loads in typoon. As the main engine is broken down in the storm, the anchor chain is cutted and the vessel is drifted. Although a ship is moored by two point mooring lines to keep the her position, a ship is crashed into a rock because of typoon and the accident of oil spilling may be occured. In this paper, we studied the position-keeping of a ship which is analyized based on the slow motion maneuvering equations considering wave, current and wind. The direct integration method is employed to estimate wave loads. The current forces are calculated by using mathematical of MMG. The two point mooring forces are quasisatatically evaluated by using the catenary equation. The coefficeints of wind forces are modeled from Isherwood’s emperical data and the variation of wind speed is estimated by wind spectrum. The nonlinear motions of a two point moored ship are simulated considering wave, current, wind load in time domain.

  • Developments of numerical methods are very important to design and analysis for a high subsonic turbine blade. In general, Analysis by experimental investigation has needed a lot of human resources and required time, indispensably, and equipments still have a limit to measure in conditions of high temperature. Rapid technological developments of CPU and integration level of memory make it possible to advance computation with almost exactly simulation so, recent developments of numerical methods are in spotlight. In the present study, the panel method, which is well-known as relatively simplified numerical method, and 2-dimensional ordinary differential Falkner-Skan equation were computed in order to analyze the outer flow, and FVM-based solid heat transfer equation, was also computed to forecast the temperature distribution of the airfoil and the turbine blade. Unstructured grid was constructed in the turbine blade, which has double cooling holes, in order to analyze the internal heat transfer. Cooling fluid was assumed as fully-developed turbulent flow and that circulated in cooling holes.

  • For the evaluation of the plasma display panel (PDP)'s noise, vibration and sound characteristics of fanless PDP are measured and investigated. PDP is a type of two-electrode vacuum tube which operates on the same principle as a household fluorescent light. An inert gas such as argon or neon is injected between two glass plates on which transparent electrodes have been formed, and the glass is illuminated by generating discharge. For this discharge, both high voltage and currents are needed and cause an acoustic noise. We investigated the noise characteristics connected with both a electromagnetic elements from SMPS to panel through X, Y and logic board, and a mechanical elements form panel to case through transfer path which related with vibration and heat. To reduce the noise of PDP, a discharge pulse memory design related with both higher brightness and lower power consumption is important and mechanical characteristics connected with dissipation process of both heat and vibration generated by panel discharge must be investigated.

비행체 공력-구조-RF 스텔스 통합해석 시스템에 관한 연구 (An Integrated System for Aerodynamic, Structural, and RF Stealth Analysis of Flying Vehicles)

  • 최근 항공기 예비설계 단계에서 여러 분야의 설계요소를 동시에 고려하는 다분야 통합설계(Multidisciplinary Design) 기법이 요구되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 CATIA를 기반으로 항공기 형상에 대한 공력, 구조, RF 스텔스의 성능 분석을 위한 통합시스템을 구축하였다. CATIA를 이용하여 공력, 구조, RF 스텔스 해석을 위한 동일 사각격자를 생성한 후 생성된 격자를 이용하여 공력특성과 구조변위를 계산하였다. 레이더 포착면적 (RCS) 계산은 사각격자로부터 삼각형 격자를 추가로 생성하여 수행하였다. 이 과정 중 각 해석분야의 입력 파일을 생성할 수 있는 변환코드를 개발하였다. 세부분야 해석기법으로 패널 코드 PANAIR, 전산구조해석 코드 NASTRAN, PO 기법에 기초한 RCS 해석코드를 사용하였다.

  • This numerical analysis uses the lifting surface method and frequency-domain panel method based on the linear compressible aerodynamic theory. Increased knowledge of flow conditions within mixed-flow fan should indicates means of improving performance of these turbomachines. Thus, only an approximate solution is obtained whose prime intent is to recognize the most significant characteristics of the "ideal" geometry. For a given set of operating condition, the flow conditions within mixed-flow fan depend on the geometry of the machine (three-dimensional flow effects) and on the properties of the fluid. But most treatments of the problem have been concerned with the two-dimensional flow effects for incompressible, non-viscous fluids. Interest in the field of mixed-flow fan resulted in the undertaking of a program to develop reliable design procedures that would avoid the need for lengthy development work.

엇회전식 축류홴의 공력 특성에 관한 전산 해석 및 실험 (Numerical and Experimental Analyses of the Aerodynamic Characteristics of a Counter Rotating Axial Fan)

  • A study was done on the numerical and experimental analyses of the aerodynamic characteristics of a counter rotating axial fan. The numerical analysis uses the frequency domain panel method developed for the aerodynamic analysis of interacting rotating systems, which is based on the unsteady lifting surface panel method. Each stage of interaction involves the solution of an isolated rotor, the interaction being done through the Fourier transform of the induced velocity field. Numerical results showed good agreements with other experimental data for single and counter rotating propeller systems. And they were compared with the experimental results of the counter rotating axial fan studied in the present paper. The performance test was carried out based on the Korean Standard (KS B 6311). It was focused on the relative efficiency increase of a counter rotating system for a single rotating one, and effects of the axial distance between the front and rear rotors on overall fan performances were investigated. As a result, it was shown that the counter rotating axial fan has the efficiency 14% higher than the single rotating one at peak efficiency points.

In this paper, we studied maintenance of a ship's position, which is analyzed based on the slow motion maneuvering equations considering wave, current, and wind. To estimate wave loads, the direct integration method is employed. The current forces are calculated, using MMG (Mathematical Modeling Group). Th two-point mooring forces are quasi-statistically evaluated, using the catenary equation. Th coefficients of wind forces are modeled from Isherwood's empirical data, and the variation of wind speed is estimated by wind spectrum. The nonlinear motions of a two-point moored ship are simulated, considering wave, current, and wind load, in specific domain of time.

실린더 형상에 따른 Wave Run-up 현상에 대한 연구 (Study on Wave Run-Up Phenomenon over Vertical Cylinder)

  • In this paper, the wave run.up on a vertical cylinder is presented. Various cross sections of a cylinder were simulated using the panel method for various wave periods. Two.dimensional model tests were performed in a wave flume. The simulation results are compared with the test results. The simulation is based on the linear diffraction theory.

  • 본 연구에서는 선택모형을 이용하여 소비자패널자료를 분석함에 있어 시간의 흐름에 따라 동적(dynamic)으로 변화하는 소비자내부의 특성 차이를 반영한 특정소비자의 종적인 변화인 소비자동태성을 분석하였다. 선택모형 내에서 소비자동태성은 효용함수에 시변계수(time-varying coefficient)를 도입함으로써 표현될 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 이를 위해 계층적모형(hierarchical model)과 상태공간모형(state-space model)에 기반하여 Random-Walk 계수를 지니는 이산프로빗모형을 개발하였고, 개발된 모형을 패널자료로부터 추정하기 위하여 Gibbs 표본법을 적용하였다. 모형추정결과 효용함수의 시변계수들에 유의한 소비자동태성이 존재함을 확인할 수 있었다. 소비자동태성이 존재할 경우 이에 효과적으로 대응하기 위해서는 동적시장세분화가 필요하다고 할 수 있다.

몰수심도가 작은 고속 수중익 주위의 유동장에 대한 수치계산 (Numerical Study on Flow Field around High Speed Hydrofoil with Shallow Submergence)

  • In order to better understand the characteristics of the flow field around the submerged hydrofoil of finite span with high speed and shallow submergence. a numerical code which can solve the flow around a fast lifting body under the free surface was developed and used to obtain various interesting features of the flow. The code was based on the panel method of Hess( 1972), and the free surface condition was linearized to conform with the assumption of the high Froude number. It is shown that the effect of the change of submerged depth. angle of attack and aspect ratio upon the sectional lift coefficient is rather significant for the case of the chosen example wing, which has the rectangular planform. Since Lee(2002)'s theoretical results were for the wing of elliptical planform, the direct comparison of the two results was not possible. It seems that more computational results are in need to compare the theoretical and the numerical prediction in detail.
