  • 애드혹 네트워크에서 그룹 이동성을 고려할 경우, 주요한 이슈 중 하나가 그룹의 파티션 문제이다. 파티션 시간의 예측을 위해서, 기존의 모델들은 파티션이 발생하는 두 그룹의 대칭적 이동을 가정한다. 그러나, 실제 상황에서 파티션은 다양한 방향으로 일어나므로 대칭적 방향만을 고려한다면, 정확한 파티션 시간을 예측할 수 없다. 본 논문은 대칭적 이동뿐만 아니라, 모든 방향을 고려한 네트워크 파티션 분석 모델을 제시하고 수학적인 분석을 통해 이를 증명한다. 따라서, 정확한 파티션 시간의 예측이 가능하다.

The Effect of Service Quality of Farm Party on Cognitive and Emotional Images of the Farmhouse and Revisit Intention (팜파티 서비스 품질이 팜파티 농가의 인지적 이미지와 정서적 이미지, 재방문 의도에 미치는 영향)

  • This study aims to investigate how the service quality of a farm party affects the cognitive and emotional images of the farmhouse and revisit intentions by designing a research model and testing hypotheses. First, findings of the test show that when it comes to service quality, the physical environment and program contents of farm party have an effect on the cognitive image of the farmhouse while the qualification of party operators does not. Second, the physical environment of the party and party operator's qualification affect the emotional image but the program contents has no effect. Third, The cognitive and emotional images have an effect on the revisit intentions. It is certain that the farm party serves as cultural contents facilitating the rural economy and an emerging business model in the rural tourism. When we approach the farm party as a business model to provide service, not cultural contents as party, however, farmhouses may build a positive image as a new tourist destination and also see their economy facilitated. This study looks into Seoul and Gyeonggi areas and thus is geographically limited and does not cover national phenomenon.

  • 드론의 헬리캠, 스마트폰의 카메라를 통해 얼굴영상을 검출하고, 검출된 얼굴 영역을 지속적으로 추적하는 것은 최근 많은 연구가 진행 중에 있다. 특히 색상기반의 파티클 필터를 사용하는 얼굴추적기법은 빠르고 효과적이나 사용되는 파티클의 수와 윈도우즈의 크기 간의 상간관계는 연구된 바가 없다. 이 논문에서는 색상기반 파티클 필터를 이용하여 얼굴추적 시스템을 구축하고 파티클의 수와 윈도우즈의 크기간의 상관관계를 1집단부터 5집단에 대해 윈도우즈의 크기와 파티클의 수를 변화하며 인식률의 상관관계를 살펴보았다. 파티클의 수는 10부터 120개, 윈도우즈 크기는 20픽셀부터 200픽셀에 대해 실험한 결과 실험의 파티클의 수와 윈도우즈 크기는 인식률에 의미 있는 영향이 없음을 확인했다.

  • The era of multi-core processors has begun since the limit of the clock speed has been reached. These days, multi-core technology is used not only in desktops, servers, and table PCs, but also in smartphones. In this architecture, there is always interference between processes, because of the sharing of system resources. To address this problem, cache partitioning is used, which can be roughly divided into two types: software and hardware cache partitioning. When it comes to dynamic cache partitioning, hardware cache partitioning is superior to software cache partitioning, because it needs no page copy. In this paper, we compare the effectiveness of hardware and software cache partitioning on the AMD Opteron 6282 SE, which is the only commodity processor providing hardware cache partitioning, to see whether this technique can be effectively deployed in dynamic environments.

  • In this study, a computer simulation of the three types of air distribution systems, open type system, aisle partition system and aisle containment system, to evaluate the applicability of the aisle partition system on a data center server room. The variables of the simulation were the height and location of the partition fixed on the top server rack. The energy efficiency of the air distribution systems were confirmed to be excellent in the order of the aisle containment system, aisle partition system, and open type system. In the cold aisle partition system, the height of the partition that can be effective in saving cooling energy by obstructing sufficient air recirculation was found to be more than 0.9m. In the hot aisle partition system, the height of the partition was found to be more than 0.8m.

  • This paper proposes a new real-time object tracking algorithm using particle filters with color and texture features in moving CCD camera images. If the user selects an initial object, this region is declared as a target particle and an initial state is modeled. Then, N particles are generated based on random distribution and CS-LBP (Centre Symmetric Local Binary Patterns) for texture model and weighted color distribution is modeled from each particle. For observation likelihoods estimation, Bhattacharyya distance between particles and their feature models are calculated and this observation likelihoods are used for weights of individual particles. After weights estimation, a new particle which has the maximum weight is selected and new particles are re-sampled using the maximum particle. For performance comparison, we tested a few combinations of features and particle filters. The proposed algorithm showed best object tracking performance when we used color and texture model simultaneously for likelihood estimation.

  • As the capacity of storage devices becomes larger, most users divide them into several logical partitions for convenience of storing and controlling data. Therefore, recovering partitions stably which are artificially hidden or damaged is the most important issue in the perspective of digital forensic. This research suggests partition recovery algorithm that makes stable and effective analysis using characteristics of each file system. This algorithm is available when partition is not distinguishable due to concealment of partition or damage in partition area.

  • Today, research is actively being conducted to derive meaningful results from big data. In this paper, we propose a partition-based big data analysis algorithm that can analyze the correlation between variables by setting the data areas of big data as partitions and calculating the representative values of each partition. In this paper, the analyzed visualization results are compared according to the partition size of a proposed partition-based big data analysis (PBDA) algorithm that can control the size of the partition. In order to verify the proposed PBDA algorithm, the big data of 'A' is analyzed, and meaningful results are obtained through the analysis of changes in sales volume of products according to changes in temperature and sales price.

  • The generation of wastewood is currently about 40% level of the amount of domestic wood use. When the rate of wood self-supply is considered, the recycling of wastewood in wood panel products industry should be encouraged. This study was evaluated the performance of particleboard (PB) made from wastewood. PBs were manufactured with the synthesized urea-formaldehyde resin at 5 minutes hot-press time, and at 162℃ press temperature with 6 percent resin solids level on an ovendry wastewood particle weight basis. The PBs were tested by the procedure of ASTM D 1037. Test results exceeded the minimum strength requirement according to KS F 3104 Particleboard type 8.0. The PB's performance showed that wastewood is suitable raw material for PB.

Linux-based Memory Efficient Partition Scheduler using Partition Bitmap (파티션 비트맵을 이용한 메모리 효율적인 리눅스 파티션 스케줄러)

  • The operating systems in the system architecture, which is integrated several applications and modular electronic devices in the same computing device, demand partitioning technology for safety. Thus, operation system requires partition scheduler for partition scheduling. When we design partition scheduler in embedded system, which has small memory and low performance, such as space system, we must consider not only performance but also memory. In this paper, we introduces a linux-based memory efficient partition scheduler using partition bitmap. This partition scheduler demands small memory space and produce low partition switching overhead. The prototype was executed on a LEON4 processor, which is the Next Generation Multicore Processor (NGMP) in the space sector. In evaluation, this prototype shows accuracy, additional memory space and low partition switching overhead.
