This paper deals with a normality test to determine whether the data are sampled from normal population or not. In this paper the property that the mean and variance are independently distributed only for the normal distribution is used as a basis for developing a new test using the simple regression analysis. Considering the redan and variance of a random sample as independent and dependent variables, if it has not the regression relationship we conclude that the data were sampled from the normal distribution. The Monte-Carlo power study shows that the new test using the simple regression analysis has good power property relative to 6 well-known test methods for 11 distributions.

This study aims to evaluate the effects of aromatherapy and a foot reflex massage program on the cognition, anxiety, aggressive behavior, and wandering behavior of elderly with dementia. The research design was a non-equivalent control group, quasi-experimental study where 43 subjects were divided into two groups. Aromatherapy and foot reflex massage was administered to the experimental group (N=21), and no treatment was administered to the control group (N=22). The data was analyzed using the ${\chi}^2$-test, t-test, while the repeated measures of ANOVA were utilized with the SPSS/Win 18.0 program. The experimental group did not show significant differences in cognitive function; however, it showed significant differences in anxiety, aggressive behavior, and wandering behavior in relation to the control group. Thus this research suggests aromatherapy and a foot reflex massage program as nursing intervention to improve the quality of life of elderly with dementia.

Isolates of the rice blast fungus show a range of tissue-specificities infecting leaves, nodes, neck and panicles. Although neck and panicle blast cause significantly greater yield losses than the leaf blast, virulence tests of the blast isolates have been performed only rice leaves instead of neck and panicles. In this study, we have developed a virulence test method for neck and panicle blast. We selected three representative isolates from each of leaf, neck, and panicle blast. We observed that severe disease lesions developed on the neck and the panicles when the infected rice plants were incubated in a dew chamber for 48 h instead of 24 h when tested on leaves. Unlike the leaf blast, a typical lesion on the neck and panicles appeared after 14 days post-infection as opposed to 7 days with leaf blast. This method will be applied to examine tissue-specificity of the rice blast fungus isolates.

Proportional hazards model has been widely used for analyzing survival data. This article reviews some well-known goodness-of-fit tests for proportional hazards model. Simulation studies also provide some insights into the properties of these test statistics across several types of survival distributions and degerees of censorship.

본 연구는 산업(産業)의 배당결정행태(配當決定行態)를 주식시장에 존재하는 비대칭적(非對稱的) 정보구조(情報構造)로 설명하고자 하는 신호가설(信號假說)과 대리인비용가설(代理人費用假說)의 검정에 관한 것이다. 배당자료의 특성과 panel자료의 사용으로 인하여 통상적인 추정 방법을 사용할 경우 문제가 발생하게 된다. 본 연구에서는 특정한 형태의 불균등 분산을 가정한 HAT모형을 대안으로 제시하였다. 모형설정검정을 위한 통계량을 도출하여 설정검정을 해본 결과 HAT모형의 실용적 타당성이 입증되었으며 Lintner모형을 응용한 배당결정모형(配當決定模型)에 HAT모형을 적용시켜 실증분석에 사용하였다. 그 결과 신호가설(信號假說)과 대리인비용가설(代理人費用假說)에 의해 모형에 포함된 변수들은 비유의적(非有意的)인 것으로 판명되어 두 가설(假設)은 모두 기각(棄却)되었다.

본 논문에서는 비밀성 메커니즘의 암호학적인 안전성에 대한 체계적인 분석을 통하여 난수열의 각종 암호학적, 통계적 성질에 기반한 평가 기법을 소개하고 이를 패키지로써 구현하였다. 본 패키지는 기존의 알려진 통계적 검정 기법들 뿐만 아니라 다양한 암호학적 특성에 기반한 검정 기법들을 종합적으로 분석하여 구현함으로써 차후 개발이 예상되는 새로운 스트림 및 블록 암호 알고리즘의 설계와 안전성 평가에 유용하게 적용될 수 있다.

최근 IT산업의 눈부신 성장과 고성능 전자소자가 개발됨에 따라 전력계량분야에서도 많은 변화가 있었다. 전자소자를 사용하여 다양한 기능들을 구현할 수 있는 전자식전력량계가 이미 10여년 전부터 도입하여 운용하고 있으며, 다양한 요금제도를 통한 전력사용의 합리화 및 수요관리, 원격검침 등에 기여하고 있다. 전자식전력량계는 현행 관련법령에 따라 전력량계의 검정유효기간이 7년으로 규정되어 있어 검정유효기간의 조정에 대한 필요성이 제기되어 왔다. 검정유효기간은 제품의 수명과 경제적 교체주기에 따라 결정할 사안이므로 이에 대한 기초자료로 활용하고자 가속열화시험 등 몇 가지 수명예측기법을 이용하여 현재 운영중인 전자식전력량계의 수명을 예측하고 그 결과를 제시하고자 한다.

비정형적인 방법에 의해 설계되어진 프로토콜은 불확실성과 오류를 내포하고 있을 수 있으며, 이러한 특성은 프로토콜의 안전성에 매우 심각한 영향을 미치게 된다. 또한 구형되어진 프로토콜 명세에 만족하게 구현되어졌는지를 확인하는 것 또한 프로토콜 엔지니어링에서 매우 중요한 부분이다. 즉, 프로토콜 명세의 정형검정과 적합성 시험은 프로토콜 개발 과정에서 매우 중요한 부분이다. 본 논문에서는 유한상태 레이블 천이시스템(LTS Labeled Transition System)으로 명세화된 철도 신호제어용 프로토콜 Type 1 모델에 대한 적합성 시험을 위하여 프로토콜 제어흐름을 IOFSM으로 모델링하였으며, 이 명세로부터 UIO 방법에 의한 적합성 시험계열 생성방법을 제시하였다. 또한, 프로토콜 검정 및 적합성 시험 방법을 실제 프로토콜의 정확성을 분석하는 데 사용할 수 있도록 프로토콜 검정기와 시험기를Windows 환경하에서 GUI기능에 의해 Window상에 구현되도록 하여 프로토콜 명세의 정확성을 평가할 수 있게 하였다.

A new orange-colored, cut flower gerbera (Gerbera hybrida Hort.) cultivar 'Sweety' was developed from a cross between 'Grandeur' and 'Songsongee', followed by selections of seedlings and lines at the Flower Breeding Research Institute, Gyeongnam Agricultural Research and Extension Services (ARES) from 1999 to 2004. Three time evaluations were conducted from 2003 for the detailed characteristics of the new cultivar. 'Sweety' has semi-double type mini- or medium-sized flowers in good harmony with orange(RHS, 38-A) ray florets and a green center. It has good, stable flower shape and strong peduncle, and its vase life was 10.4 days. The average flower yield was about 51.0 stems per plant/year in greenhouse trails during 2003 and 2004. This cultivar was registered to the Korea Seed and Variety Service for commercialization in 2006. Year-round production of this cultivar is possible in the greenhouse condition in Korean climate.
