트로코이드 펌프의 시뮬레이션 방법론 (Methodology for Simulation of Trochoid Pump)

  • Flow rate control is the uppermost concern for a trochoid hydraulic pump. Cavitation within the flow field of the pump has the greatest effect on the flow control during high-speed pump rotation of approximately 3500~4000 RPM. In this paper, based on AMESim$^{(R)}$ and Solid Works$^{(R)}$, we will present a method to simulate cavitation by analyzing the control factors of a trochoid pump, including the hydraulic pressure change at the outlet, flow rate based on the rotation speed of the inner rotor, leakage through the gap between the outer and inner rotors, and discharging angle of the outlet. The proposed methodology of the [cavitation simulation will enable field engineers to more easily design trochoid pumps, and will allow more concrete control over the flow rate of the pump by realizing an analysis model similar to the actual product model.

  • 하이포 트로코이드 기반의 CRG(Cam ring gear) 시스템은 핀 또는 롤러 치형을 가지는 기어와 공액인 캠 링기어로 구성된 내접기어 시스템이다. 본 논문에서는 CRG 시스템의 엄밀 치형설계를 바탕으로 기어 치면에서의 접촉특성을 분석하였으며 형상설계변수인 치형수정계수에 따른 기어의 내구수명을 검토하였다. 결과적으로 치형수정계수의 증가를 통해 기 설계된 CRG 시스템에 영향을 미치지 않으면서 기어의 접촉 피로수명을 향상시킬 수 있다.

인벌류우트-트로코이드 치형을 갖는 타원계 엽형기어의 최소잇수에 관한 연구 (Minimum Tooth Number of Elliptical Gears with Involute-Trocoidal Profile)

  • This present paper describes a mathematical model of profile shifted elliptical gears, and this model is based on the concepts of envelope theory and conjugate geometry between the blank and the straight-sided rack cutter. The geometric model of the rack cutter includes working regions generating involute curves and fillets for trocoidal curves, and furthermore the addendum modified coeff. is considered for avoiding undercutting. The addendum modified coeff. is changed linearly along with pitch curves and must be the same absolute value at both major semi-axis and minor semi-axis. If undercutting is at all pronounced, the undercut tooth not only are weakened in strength, but lose a small portion of the involute adjacent to the base circle, then this loss of involute may cause a serious reduction in the length of contact. A very effective method of avoiding undercutting is to use the so-called profile shifted gearing. Non-undercutting condition is examined with the change of eccentricity and addendum modified coeff. in elliptical gears and then the minimum number of tooth is proposed not to gernerate undercutting phenomenon.

  • Gear is general mechanical elements that used for power transmission between two shafts that interval is comparatively short. and it delivers big power as accurate ratio of speed. The profile of Spur gear which is the most basic factor is divided into Trochoidal fillet curve and Involute curve. Involute curve is used a lot of a shaped curve of machine parts such as a gear, a scroll compressor and a collar of centrifugal pump. However, It is poor to study the modeling of Trochoidal fillet curve and the three dimensions model shaped mathematical curve. This paper describes a mathematical model of profile shifted involute gear. and this model is based on Camus's theory. We draw three dimensions gear have accurate mathematical function using ADS, VisualLISP. and To check accuracy and perfection, we make a program of checking Interference. and use for this study.

지로터 오일 펌프용 통합적 설계 자동화 시스템 개발 (Development of an Integrated System for Automated Design of Gerotor Oil Pump)

  • A gerotor pump is suitable for oil hydraulics of machine tools, automotive engines, compressors, constructions and other various applications. Especially the pump is an essential machine element of an automotive engine to feed lubricant oil. The subject of this paper is the theoretical analysis of the internal lobe pump which is a particular type of positive displacement pump. The main components of the pump are rotors; usually the outer rotor profile is characterized by lobes with circular shape, while the inner rotor profile is determined as conjugate as the outer rotor profile. For this reason the topic presented here is the definition of the geometry of the rotors starting from the design parameters. The choice of these parameters is subject to some limitations in order to avoid cusp and loop between rotors. And the integrated system which is composed of three main modules has been developed through AutoLISP & Visual Basic and CAD considering various design parameters. It generates automatically an designed model for a general type of a gerotor pump and allows us to calculate two performances indexes commonly used for the study of positive displacement pumps: the flow rate and flow rate irregularity. Results obtained using the system enable the designer and manufacturer of oil pump to be more efficient in this field.

  • A gerotor pump is suitable for oil hydraulics of machine tools, automotive engines, compressors, constructions and other various applications, which are highly accepted by designers. Especially the pump is an essential machine element of an automotive engine to feed lubricant oil. However, related industries do not have necessary technology to design and optimize the pump and paid royalties of rotor profile on an advanced country. Also, gerotor pumps with unsettled design parameters have not been sufficiently analyzed from a theoretical view of design. Therefore, it is still very difficult for the pump designer and manufacturer to decide the specifications for the required gerotor pump by users. In this study, the design optimization has been carried out to determine the design parameters that maximize the specific flow rate and minimize the flow rate irregularity. Theoretical analyses and optimal design of the gerotor oil pump have been performed by mathematical base, numerical method and knowledge of kinematics. An automated design system of the tooth profile has been developed through Auto LISP language and CAD method considering various design parameters. Finally, an optimally designed model for a general type of a gerotor pump has been generated and experimentally verified for the pump performances.

기어류 부품의 단조에 관한 상계해석 (Upper Bound Analysis on the Forging of Gear-Like Components)

  • This paper describes the method that can construct kinematically admissible velocity fields for forging of gear-like components which have tooth shape around the cylinder. The kinematically admissible velo- city fields for the various gear-like components, involute spur gear, trapezoidal spline, square spline, ser- ration and trochoidal gear, were constructed by pilling up the velocity components according to the shape of tooth and billet. The billets, of hollow and solid, were Al 2218 and 2024. To verify the method, the analyses and experiments were carried out and compared with each other. For analyses, the half pitches of com- ponents were divided into several deformation regions based on their tooth profile. A neutral surface was used to represent the inner flow of material during forging. Its location varied with the energy optimazation and its contour varied with the number of teeth. In experiment, the contour of material filling up the tooth zone is hyperbolic curve caused by the frictional drag on the interface of die-wall/workpiece but, in the analysis, it is an arc which retains the same contour during all forging operation.

파워 스티어링 유닛용 일반형상 제로터의 설계 및 해석 (Design and Analysis of Gerotor with Generalized Shapes for Power-Steering Units)

  • 제로터는 유압모터나 펌프뿐만 아니라 조향장치인 파워 스티어링 유닛(PSU)에도 사용된다. 제로터의 내치차는 일상적인 경우 단일 원호형상의 외치차에 의하여 생성된다. 본 논문에서 PSU의 특성 개선을 위하여 보다 일반화 된 외치차의 형상으로부터 내치차를 생성하는 방법을 해석하였다. 해석의 결과로서, 외치차의 형상곡선이 특별한 2중곡률을 갖는 원호인 경우에 대하여, 내치차의 형상과 곡률, 제로터의 유량 및 접촉점의 위치와 슬립속도 등의 설계자료를 구하여 제시하였다. 이러한 해석은 새로운 PSU의 개발과 소형화를 가능케 한다.
